Chapter -8

Kenji is waiting outside Shinobu's room to get the permission to enter it.

"Come in"

He heard Shinobu's voice and entered the room. Where he saw mitsuri sitting in seiza position looking at him wide eyed.

'Why is she so surprised?' He thought and looked at Shinobu who had few veins on her forehead but was still smiling. 'And why is she mad?'

(Before kenji came into the room)

Shinobu was about to tell Mitsuri about kenji even though she didn't wanted to but still had to because of system.

The knock interrupted their conversation.

The door opened after Shinobu gave permission to be revealing it was kenji.

Shinobu looked at Mitsuri who was in her own world after seeing him.

Sparkles started to form around kenji in Mitsuri pov. Flowers appeared behind him. Basically love at first sight.

'S-so handsome. He has perfect face, long red hair and that flame mark. Those eyes with sun and moon in them. So cute and handsome.' Mitsuri was charmed by his appearance and was looking at him wide eyed.

Shinobu seeing Mitsuri falling in love with kenji at first sight lost all hopes of keeping him to herself. Even though she doesn't know where she got those hopes but they were shattered.

That is the reason she got mad, like really mad. She was looking at kenji waiting for him to tell the reason he came here.

"Kenji, what is the reason you came here?" She said in sweet venomous tone.

Mitsuri looked more shocked at revelations that the handsome guy standing in front of her is the fated person system spoke of.

Kenji raised an eyebrow at Shinobu calling his first name without any manners. It might not seem that much but in taisho era Japan, people who know each other closely are only ones who call them by their first name.

So he was a little surprised but didn't dwell much on it. He thought her revealing her emotions to him might be the reason behind it.

"I got my injury completely healed." He said while pointing at his arm.

Shinobu checked his arm and saw it was healed completely. Even though it should have took 3 days but it was healed. She could only think of 'fated person' title for the reason of such quick recovery.

"It's a good thing that it healed." She said with same smiling face and the veins on her face disappeared.

Kenji sighed in relief that she didn't ask any questions on how it happened. Also, he was glad that she calmed down.

He looked at Mitsuri before introducing himself. "My name is kenji sato." He said while doing a quick small bow.

Mitsuri got out of her daydreaming when she heard his voice. "A-ah my name is Mitsuri Kanroji. I am the love hashira, nice to meet you kenji."

He just nodded and looked at Shinobu. "Kocho sa-".

Shinobu cut him off and said something that surprised both Mitsuri and Kenji. "You can call me Shinobu." She said while still smiling, even though it seems recommendation but it was a command and Kenji understood it.

Meanwhile Mitsuri was surprised by this interaction. 'N-no way. Shinobu chan likes him? But..but i- ugh what should I do?'

[If the host tries to not let the fated person interact with the other wielder of system intentionally, then there will be consequences.]

Mitsuri heard the system and stopped her train of thinking but then 'Wait don't tell me Shinobu chan also got this warning from system and that's why she didn't do anything.'

Mitsuri used all the brain cells she has to think of that possibility.

Kenji looked at Mitsuri to get a better look. 'My god..I saw on internet she was 84 cm but damn. These are huge. If these are so big, how big would tsunade be.' he stopped his trail of thinking when he suddenly felt someone staring at him. It sent a chill down his spine.

When he looked behind, he saw Shinobu staring daggers at him. The smile which was ever present was not there her eyes were also darkened. There was something spining in them.

His back covered in cold sweat. He looked at Shinobu and said in shaky voice. "S-Shinobu, i just wanted to say that to show my thanks for treating my wound and taking me as an student. I would cook for you guys."

Shinobu looked at him for few moments before letting out a sigh. She nodded with her smile coming back to her face and her expression returning to normal.

He just nodded and got out of her room. When he got out of her room, he tried to remain calm which was not possible as he was still covered in sweat due to fear. The kakushi and demon slayer were looking or more like admiring his handsomeness.

He soon reached the patient bed he was on.

It was going to be night soon. So he decided to cook tommorow.

(Meanwhile with shinobu and mitsuri)

Mitsuri keept looking at the place where kenji was standing.

She looked at Shinobu who was staring at her. She finally got the courage to ask the question. "Shinobu chan, did you also got that warning?"

Shinobu just nodded slightly. "But how and why did the system gave that warning?"

[The warning was given when the weilder of system decided to do something that wouldn't let the other weilder of system to interact with the fated person.]

They both looked at each other surprised. Mitsuri spoke up first "You were not going to let me meet kenji, shinobu chan"

Shinobu just nodded and looked at Mitsuri "What did you think of mitsuri san?"

Mitsuri looked at the ground. "Well you see when you were looking at kenji before...."
