Ch21. A hop-scotch and time jump away.
Slowly opening his eyes, Alex looked over towards the silver haired woman laying next to him, her limbs tangled with his own.
Gently and slowly untangling himself from her, ensuring that she wouldn't wake from the loss of warmth or movement.
Alex finally stood up and stretched his sore body out before picking up his grey sweatpants and putting them on, taking one last look at the naked Ava wrapped in the red silk sheet, Alex turned and left the room.
Walking down the clean and tidy hallway, Alex entered into an open kitchen only to be greeted by a beautiful husky, Cheyenne walking up and sniffing his hand as she whined for attention.
"Let him eat first girl, then papa can give you belly rubs." Sunny's tired voice rose from the end of the table in the adjacent dining room as she sipped a cup of coffee.
Walking into the room with a smile Alex suddenly yelped and fell back, looking at the rotting corpse of Sunny as she sat at the dining table sipping her coffee.
"Something wrong Alex?" Sunny looked at Alex through her dead eyes as Cheyenne Waltzed over and began to bite off chunks of her calf.
"Alex! You left the bed without waking me!" Ava waltzed into the room as Alex paled at her horrific wound, her stomach completely ripped open as clumps of maggots could be seen shivering in her ripped up belly.
"Hehe I think I'm pregnant Alex!" Ava reached into her belly and pulled out a lump of flesh covered in maggots.
"Here Alex, holD OUr BaBy!!" Ava's voice took a demonic turn as her body began to quickly decay, Alex watching in horror as her flesh blackened and rotten as it slipped of her bones.

"AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"
Jolting up from his bed covered in sweat, his lungs gasping for air, Alex reached up to his drenched forehead to wipe the sweat away.
"Same damn nightmare." Ever since he had started building the town he has been suffering the same nightmare over and over.
Him giving in and having a relationship with one of the girls, only for it to turn horrible as the girls rot in front of him.
He's seen them all, Ava, Sunny, Cass, Asia, Cassandra, Kendra, Caroline and even Carla Boone…something he didn't expect to see.
"Two fucking months of these damn nightmares… I need to see doc." Alex slowly got up, his body soaked with sweat as he shifted out of his drenched sheets.
Walking over to his bathroom, Alex stripped naked and stepped in under the now running shower, he was happy the first thing that they fixed was the hook up to the large underground lake the mountain resided on.
Even if they could only get cold water for now, it was a nice change. The resort even had a water treatment facility where they would treat the water before using it again or sending it to be used at old Las Vegas pre-2077.
Alex enjoyed the felling of the water running down his skin as he got lost in his thoughts.
'The hell is wrong with me? I need to figure this shit out.' Alex turned off the water and stepped out of the shower to dry his muscles.
Looking in the mirror at the various small and large scars dotting his limbs and torso, a sigh escaped Alex's lips.
The wasteland was anarchy, the apex of freedom. Yet in the end nothing could guarantee that you'd survive, Alex knew he'd need to always be on guard from now on.
One mistake could mean the end of his new life.
'Constant vigilance' Alex chuckled as the thought crossed his mind.
Getting dressed, Alex walked down stairs and up to his refurbished Radiation King refrigerator and opened it.
Grabbing the Nuka Cola bottle filled with Brahmin milk, Alex closed the fridge and placed the bottle on his table before grabbing a box of Sugar bombs from the cupboard and a bowl.
Sitting at his table and pouring up a bowl, Alex calmly ate as he read his grognak comic, chuckling at just how bad this worlds comics really were compared to his old.
*Ding Dong*
"Sigh" getting up from the table, Alex made his way to his front door and took a deep breath as he opened it.

~Ten minutes earlier, WinterHaven city hall~(Old main resort building)

"Hello, I'm looking for Alexander Sinclair?" The woman spoke to the blonde lady behind the desk who looked like she was suffering the worst fate imaginable.
"Hmm, you and half the people in the Mojave. Don't see how that's any of my business though?" Sarah looked at the woman wearing the black Chinese stealth armor and a brown haired soldier girl behind her.
"Because it's not your business, this is NCR business. Now will you cooperate, trust me…he would want to meet me." Katie gave the blonde girl a glare, she didn't want to kill this blonde, but her patience was thin…she missed her baby brother so much.
Leaning on the counter Katie smiled at Sarah, "listen?…"
"Sarah"
"Right, right…Sarah, My names Katie Oliver, here on orders to contact the deserter Alexander Sinclair and talk of conditions for said desertion." Katie had to grit her teeth as she spoke, it was a lie that made her sick…but one she needed to use too get near Alex. He was squirrelly when she was near, it was cute.
"Sigh, very well. Third villa from the old hot spring, just follow the left path up the mountain. It's painted blue, he should be awake by now." Sarah rolled her eyes, she wasn't a fucking receptionist! She was here to help the doc get his hands on some stealth boys for his research.
She only sat down after she dropped them off when these two NCR lap dogs began hounding her… oh well not her problem anymore as she watched them leave with a smirk that quickly faded as she glared at the brown haired girl who walked out beside the one named Katie.
"Her uniform said Caroline….could it be? Nahh." Sarah got up and headed back to the clinic wing to see if the doc needed anything else. She at least bought Alex time as her smirk returned.
Ten minutes later both Katie and Caroline finally came up to the decent villa, it looked beautiful and well maintained due too the two Mr.Handys floating about clearing and fixing up the area.
"You sure about this ma'am?" Caroline asked Katie in a nervous voice just as Katie reached out to the door bell.
"Of course! I miss my baby brother and he also deserves to know what really happened to you, who knows he may even forgive you!" Katie smiled and pressed the bell.
Caroline smiled as she thought of repairing the relationship between her and Alex, she loved him and wanted him to know what really happened.
If she had known about his background, then she would have went to Mr.Lee sooner and sought his protection. Her and Alex would still be happy if she had.
Yet her heart was still beating rapidly, would he forgive her like his father and sister had?
If it hadn't been for Hanlon rushing up to them on that dock with Kendra's report about Alex and what he had done…she'd be dead.
When she thinks back to the feel of that revolvers barrel pressed against the back of her head, she gets a cold shiver up her spine.
*click*
Suddenly stirred from her thoughts, Caroline looked on as her face grew pale.
A petite drop dead gorgeous blonde clearly pregnant opened the door of Alex's villa and looked at them warily.
"May I help you?" Carla looked at the two intimidating and clearly NCR soldiers.
"We're looking for Alexander Sinclair, is he here?" Katie looked at the pregnant woman with dead fish eyes, seems her brother has explaining to do.
"Hmm? Alex?" A blush suddenly flushed Carla's cheeks.
"H-he's not here! He's on the opposite slope. If you follow the right path for ten minutes you'll come across the high roller villa near the old ski lift, it's now a quarry though…you can't miss it!" Carla stuttered as she spoke.
She was so happy and thankful for Alex, the town he, Marcus, Meyers and Cassidy have built is wonderful.
He gifted this wonderful home to her and Craig, she was trying her best to make it work and the atmosphere and people made it better for her, she had very little stress and access to a doctor all day. Also a nanny and guards would check up on her and other pregnant woman who moved to town to ensure their safety.
It was so much that Craig even swore his life to Alex and promised to trek the wastes with him when he left.
Alex being Alex told him he would only allow it after her child had been born and only if the area was in the Mojave.
"Anyways Alex doe— huh? Where they go?" Carla was so lost in thought she didn't realize that Katie and Caroline had left, so she just shrugged and closed her door.

"Oh? Hey Marcus! You're pretty early." Alex opened his door and saw the Meta human ducking down in the door.
"Sorry if I have bothered you my friend, was heading to the quarry to see if they needed any help. Figured I'd give you a visit and make sure you're ok?" Marcus looked over Alex as the man stood aside inviting him in to his home.
He and doctor Henry plus his assistant were the only ones aware of Alex's constant nightmares.
Henry told him if they continued for a few months to come see him, his belief that Alex may have PTSD to which Alex replied 'who doesn't in this fucked up world'.
An opinion Marcus agreed with wholly, still he felt a need to constantly check in on his friend and co-mayor.
"Was about to finish breakfast, want some?" Alex smiled back at Marcus.
"I believe I could eat." Marcus nodded and chuckled as Alex led him into the kitchen and to the table before setting a bowl and large spoon for him.
Marcus poured his own milk, a luxury thanks to Lily and her hard work taking care of the Brahmin.
"Hey, Marcus? I think I'm going to go out for a month or so after next week…" Alex casually spoke as the Metas hand froze as he raised his spoon to his mouth.
"My friend… are you—"
*ding dong*
"Hmm? Who could that be? You expecting anyone else friend?" Marcus, interrupted by the door bell asked Alex who simple shook his head as he stood.
"Be back in a second, I'll go check while you enjoy your cereal." Alex walked out of the kitchen and towards the front door.
"WHAT IN THE FUCKING HOLY FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE PSYCHO!!!!!!"
Marcus, not one to stand on ceremony, took a big bite of his cereal only to spit it out and rush to the front door, his cereal bowl flying out of his hand as he was still holding it.
Alex did not sound happy at his guest yet Marcus was confused as he rushed up only to see two beautiful human women both staring at Alex like predators…
Scratch that, even Marcus felt a cold shiver at the sinister smile on the strange armored girls face…

Y'all really thought I was gonna go harem…(chuckles in evil)
Anywho yeah the last sex chapter was actually a planed nightmare sequence that got out of hand so I made it a psyche out to fool everyone.
It's gonna be built on as an emotional problem Alex has to face over time as he grows in the world as the story plays out.
I guess the saying "it's the scars we don't see that are the ones that effect us the most".
Kudos to anyone who drew the connection when Alex checked his scars in the mirror, yet it was the invisible ones that bothered him the most.
So yeah, don't be mad but please stop with the harem talk or girls talk in general.
There will be plenty of male companions with issues as well, it's just that the early story has more female stuff.
The female love interest if you want to know is _______!
So yeah, go wild with that information 😏
