9 Super Soldier

Kyle: "Sir, I surrender. Not an ounce of power left in my body."

Ser.: (In my ear) "You asshole, why did you stop, don't lie about being tired.

Kyle: (Softly) "Sir, how can I win to you. You are the instructor; you have more experience than me."

He was happy by my reply so he just dismissed us. Agent Carter and Col. Phillips also went away.

Next day Agent Carter was assigned to us for our training. We were told to do push up.

Steve was struggling to keep up, on the other hand I was just rampaging through the course. 100 push ups in less than 3minutes.

Erskine and Phillips were coming toward us talking about something, maybe about who to give about super soldier serum.

Col.: "Are you really thinking of giving the serum to Rogers. Look at the boy the needle will just pass through its arm."

Dr.: "I am thinking colonel. I have decided."

Col.: "Look there. Kyle has passed every test with flying colours and even beat me in my game. That bastard got the talent."

Dr. "But I am looking for ideals, which Steve got."

Colonel just sighed and took a dummy grenade. I knew what he was going to do. I just smiled. 'I am just going to give them another surprise.' I don't want to be Captain America. But it doesn't mean that I won't be on the frontlines to do that I have to prove myself.to gain thee attention.

Col.: (Throwing the grenade) "Grenade!!"

Everyone just ran for their lives and the idiot Steve just covered it with his body.

I just ran toward him, kicked him the gut to throw him away, picked it up threw it more than 100-m toward the forest.

Kyle: (Shouting)" Are you fucking kidding me!!!"

Steve: "Language Kyle"

I just punched him in the face.

Kyle: (Picking him up) "Don't ever do that again"

Col: "That was a nice throw soldier"

Kyle: "Thank you sir, but if you'll excuse me. I have to take this dumb ass to the infirmary."

I just went to the infirmary and waiting for Steve to be patched up and inside colonel's office, Agent Carter, Sergeant Roods, Colonel Phillips, and Dr. Erskine were Present.

Col.: "I think we should give this chance to Kyle. You saw him today Dr. How he saved everyone without sacrificing himself."

Dr. "But…"

Carter: "I also agree with Colonel. Kyle will make a great soldier."

Ser.:" I also think the same as Agent Carter. He could beat me up that day but for my image he surrendered. I have never met anyone like him before."

Dr. "I think Steve is the best choice."

Col.: "So you won't budge. You have 3 to 1 vote."

{In the Camp}

I am currently with Steve and going to take a shower. 5 minutes later I came with only a towel covering my lower half. I saw Agent Carter there sitting on a chair near Steve. Seeing me, her face just got red. I thought about teasing her.

Kyle: "What are you doing here, Agent Carter."

Kyle: "Should I just go outside so you can have you time alone with Steve."

Agent: "What are you talking about Soldier, I came here for you."

Kyle: "SO, should I send Steve Outside, so we can be alone"

Agent: (reddened face) "…"

Kyle: "I just teasing you Agent, SO what do you want to talk about with both of us."

Agent: (Calming Down)" What do you know about project rebirth and super soldier program?"

Kyle: "We were recruited under Super Soldier Program Which is a part of Project rebirth. That's All"

Agent: "Super Soldier Program was designed to select a person at the end of it to give him Supernatural Body which will have no limits."

Kyle:" So we both are selected for your experiment, Right?"

Agent: "Exactly"

Kyle: "Than what's the problem."

Agent: "But we only have permission to perform this once and all the higher ups want Kyle to be first but DR. Erskine who is the main researcher wants Steve to be the first. So, you have to choose between yourself"

Kyle: "What's there to choose, Steve will take it."

Steve: "Why me? It will benefit you more. You are perfect for it. You are a true soldier."

Kyle: "That's the point Steve. I am fit for being a soldier. They won't let me go to waste but what about you? Do you think they will keep you here with all your asthmatic problems and this scrawny body? You got the chance boy, don't wait for it."

Steve: "But…"

Kyle: "No buts soldier. I will meet you at the frontlines."

Kyle: (To Carter)" Okay mam, we have decided but I have a request to make. Can you send me to the frontlines?"

Agent: "I will look into it."

{After Some Days}

I was ordered to for to the frontlines near France.

When I reach the frontlines. The things I saw there just made me puke. Men were just living worse than animals inside the trenches. I met the sergeant in command there.

Kyle: "Soldier Kyle, Reporting Sir"

Ser: "You are still no soldier, recruit. Wait for the next trip to frontlines and we'll see if you have the guts but don't die"

This is the reality when a war occurs. New soldiers are sent as meat shield and mostly they never return back home.

After some time, a jeep came up I got in the jeep. It started moving. There are some RPG's, hand grenades, mostly bullets in there. I just stored few of each in my inventory. Suddenly I heard a firing towards our jeep they killed the driver and started looking for the keys for the back door of the jeep to take stuff from us.

When they opened the gate. I shot the nearest one in the head and took my knife, threw it toward others heart. In less than a second both were dead.

I went back to jeep and went towards the frontlines.
