Angela Watson

Thankfully she only had two classes today. Science and Math. When she got back to her dorm room, she looked over her alarm clock to see what may have gone wrong with it and why it didn't go off this morning. Turns out she set it, it just wasn't turned on. This time she set it for 5:45am and made double sure she turned it on! She did her homework, ate supper, took a shower, brushed her teeth, and went to bed checking one more time that her alarm was on. Her roommate came in late that night and she was drunk out of her mind. She stumbled around the room and ended up unplugging Angela's alarm clock. I wish there was something I could do about that like plug it back in, or wake up Angela and let her know what happened. But I can't and now she has to wake up late again on only her second day of school! At 5:45am I heard some music comming from Angelas headboard. It was her alarm on her cell phone!! She must have thought ahead and set it while I wasn't looking. Good for her! She woke up and did her morning routine an headed off to class on time.

Today she had English and Chemistry. She didn't really like her Chemistry teacher because he didn't really go over the studies very well to where some of the students could understand them.

Thank goodness the library is open till late so she could go check out some books to help her better understand what she has to study for. She hasn't made any friends yet, but she isn't really worried about that at the moment. Right now she just wants to worry about her studies. Her first semester of school went really well and she got some of the best grades in her class!

As I got to know Angela, I learned that she has one little brother named Sam, her parents are very loving and caring, a dog named Vince, and a cat named Maxie. Her father is a surgeon, and her mother is a lawyer. Sam is only 12, so he's still in school. 6th grade, in fact. Angela and Sam, although 6 years apart, have always been close. When she got her licenses, they would go all sorts of places together in her car. They would go to the mall, out to lunch, to the park, and to the movies. Their parents were so happy and proud at how well their kids got along. Angela missed all those days of fun with Sam, but she knew she was only a few hours away and the holidays were right around the corner.

She has always received good grades growing up, so school has never been a problem for her, nor did she care about being popular. That's why it didn't mater if she made friends in college or not. There was a young man that took a liking to her. He was in her Chemistry class their first semester, and he would quietly follow her around to the point where he knew where her dorm room was. I only noticed him a few times, but never put any thought into it until after the semester was over.
