1 Run and don't look behind you

I was walking towards the school, being the first day of school I couldn't afford being late this time, I was wearing streets clothes and I did not have a backpack because we will not be doing anything, because its the first day of school we are only going to present ourselves to new classmates, talk about values, and mess around the place.

As I was walking around thinking about the fastidious days to come, I suddenly heard a scream behind me which caused me to jump due to fear but a few seconds later I came back to myself and turned around to look at the source of the scream when I saw her, the most beautiful being I have ever seen in my entire life, not even those modes on the TVs and advertisements could compare to her, she had unblemished pale skin where you could not find any imperfections no matter where you look, even though her age was around 16 years old her developing figure is already on the way to make her even more perfect, her beautiful azure eyes made you feel as if you were standing in front of a mirror, heart-shaped face, straight eyebrows, petite nose, thin lips, and her straight blonde hair made her look too beautiful until I finally regained my composure and realized that her arm was bleeding.

I quickly ran at her and tied her bleeding arm with my sweater to stop the bleeding until I realized she was not saying anything, worriedly I turned to look at her face and saw that her eyes where melancholic as if looking at a distant memory returned to normal as if nothing happened since the very beginning and gave me a sweet smile that made my mind blank and she asked me if she could accompany me towards the school and I accepted.

The first mistake I made.

I did not realize she knew where I was heading because my mind was totally blank after she smiled at me, even though I was not wearing my uniform nor did I had my backpack.

After walking in complete silence for a few minutes I could not help but think about something to talk about to dissolve this awkward atmosphere and when I finally gathered my courage she suddenly began to talk but what she said to me made me feel as if something bad is going to happen.

''You know, a few years ago there was an accident around here. It seems that one girl disappeared around here.''

What she said made my body tremble because it could be said that I am not a fan of anything that has to do with blood and things like that, so I was unconsciously getting closer and closer to the mysterious girl.

''It seems that she was a very beautiful girl and many people were saddened when they heard about this.''

When she said this she looked very sad as if she met this girl and I could not help but feel pity for the disappeared girl.

''Unfortunately after one year and a half, she was not found and was considered dead.'' While saying this she was looking at me with some kind of emotions I could not discern which made me uncomfortable.

''Her family even made a tomb which is located a few meters from here on.'' She said with her voice still sounding sad.

I did not dare to look at her face afraid of looking at her face with a saddened expression just like her voice.

This is the second mistake I made.

Because if I looked at her I would realize the expression on her face is not the saddened one that I thought of, instead, she was making an excited expression as if she finally got what she wanted.

''Look! that is the tomb!''

I looked towards the direction she pointed to and say the tomb which made me confused because there were words apart from the name and date marked on the tomb made with some kind of red paint.

''RUN AND DON'T LOOK BEHIND.''

I looked at those words ''Run and don't look behind'' blanky for a long time, I was about to turn around towards the girl until I remembered when we introduced ourselves a while ago ''My name is Roselyn.'' it's what she said. My face turned pale with fear and once again I heard her voice.

''Look at me.''

My mind went blank once more and my body slowly turned around to face her, what I saw terrified me. Her previous unblemished skin turned rotten, her silky straight hair looked like birds tried to make a nest out of it, eyes nowhere to be seen, just a dark hole that made you feel as if they would completely surround you with their darkness where the eyes are supposed to be, her previous beautiful face is now mutilated beyond being recognizable. I slowly made one step back continued by other and other until I turned around with my fast beating heart, I started running but after a few seconds I once more heard her soft and beautiful voice just beside my ear as if she was whispering

''Don't move.''

My body automatically stopped moving even though my mind was screaming to move, after a few seconds I felt a pain on my head that was slowly being transferred to my whole body until I fell unconscious.
