Once upon a time

There was a hungry girl, she asked her mother to give her bread to eat, but the mother apologized because she was combing her hair and asked her daughter to wait a little while until she finished and wash her hands and then give her food.

But the girl was stubborn and did not want to wait, so threatened her mother to open the cage door for all the birds that her stepfather had caught.

The mother thought that her daughter was joking with her words, so she said to her: "Try then."

The girl went and opened the cage door, and all the birds that were inside flew away.

The mother was shocked by her daughter's behavior, "oh my God! my husband will kill me", screamed the mother, " what am I going to do ", said the mother.

The mother gathered all her belongings and ran away with her daughter, not knowing where she would go.

She continued walking and searching for a place to shelter her, her daughter, and the son in her womb. but the night realized them.

When they reached a wild forest,so she climbed on top of a tree to spend the night there until the sun rises and continue her search.

The mother stayed on the tree with her daughter, so the wild animals came to her den after spending a whole day searching for food in vain.

The wild animals noticed that there were humans on the tree, so they wanted you to have them as food for dinner.

The lion (king of the jungle) sent the ant and said to it: "Try to sting the mother, and she will fall, then we will eat her."

The ant climbed and started creeping slowly until it reached the top of the tree, but the girl noticed it and crushed it with her hand, so the poor ant died.

The wild animals waited for the mother to fall, but in vain, so the lion again sent another ant, but the girl also noticed and crushed it as she had done with the first one.

The wild animals understood that it was the girl who killed the ants, and the lion said: "Well, the ant is a weak creature and it was easily killed, so we will send the serpent."

The lion sent the serpent and instructed her to change its path so that the girl would not notice her.

The serpent climbed quietly until it reached the mother, while she was sleeping and did not feel anything, so the poor mother was bitten by a fatal bite.

The girl only felt her mother fall to the ground, so she started crying.

The mother and the little one in her womb fell to the ground and it was a meal for the wild beasts.

The beasts began to divide their meal among themselves, but the hare was wise and clever,

The hare said: "I do not want to eat today because I am tired, but I want the belly to be my share.

The hare got on the belly and waited for the beasts to enter their lairs, so she opened the belly and saved the little brother from death.

The hare called the girl and said to her: "Get down, poor girl, and take your brother. He is fine, but you must run away with him so that the beasts do not notice and follow you.

The girl came down and wrapped her brother in a veil of her and went looking for a place to protect her little brother from the danger of wild animals.

The girl kept walking until the sun rose,She arrived in a residential neighborhood and entered between the houses, She found a woman sweeping in front of her house.

The girl asked this woman to sweep up for a fee the woman to breastfeed her little brother.

The woman agreed and breastfed the little boy, and the girl was vacuuming, when she finished, she took her brother and went looking for someone to help her too.

She found a woman baking bread, so she asked her to do the baking, so that the woman breastfeed her brother.

So the woman did, and the girl baked bread, then she went carrying her brother and also looking for help.

This is how the girl spent her life and the days passed and her brother grew up.

In a small, modest house, the girl lives with her brother, and started thinking of finding a wife for her brother, she found a girl for him so he got married, and the family became three members.

But this wife is not kind and she does not want a third person to live with her. So she decided to get rid of the sister of her husband.

One day this wife brought a snake egg and hid it,

Then she asked the girl to eat together on one plate,

and because the girl is good, she thought that her brother's wife wanted to eat with her out of love for her.

When they sat down to eat together, the brother's wife pretended that she forgot to bring water, so that she asked the girl to bring it.

When the girl went to get water, her brother's wife put the snake's egg in the food from the side from which the girl eats.

The girl came back, her brother's wife bet with her which of them could eat the first bite and swallow it without chewing it.

And the girl said to her: This is easy, look! so she did without feeling that she had swallowed a snake egg.

Days passed and the girl's belly began to grow, because the snake's egg hatched inside her stomach and a small snake came out of it, the it started growing in her guts as if she was pregnant, lately the girl knew that she swallowed something and it's moving inside.

Her brother's wife noticed it, and that's exactly what she wanted,so she hurriedly went to tell her husband what she had noticed in his sister and accused her of being impure and of having desecrated her honor.

Without any excuses, the brother had no choice but to expel his sister from the house, accusing her of indecency.

The girl went out of the house and did not know where to go, and she did not know with whom she would be living.

She kept walking and crying until she reached a desolate forest, and she remained sitting on a rock, not knowing what would happen to her.

And fortunately for her, a good man passed by and saw her, he approached her and asked: "Who are you? And what are you doing here?"

So she told him her story, so he took pity on her and asked her to go with him to his house, after swearing ans propising he promised her that he would protect her, so she went with him.

The good man wanted to rid her of that thing (this snake) in her stomach, but he did not know how to do to get rid of it.

He went to an old man who was wise and much had experience in life, he asked him how to do and the wise old man showed him the way.

He said to him: " Bring meat and put a lot of salt on it and grill it and give it to the girl to eat, she must be patient with its salt and never drink water, because the snake will eat from it too, then make her legs tied to the ceiling and make her head down, and prepare a bowl of water with it and put it on the ground under her head, and try to move the water to make a sound, so that (the snake) hears it, so it tries to get out through her mouth to drink.

The good man did everything the wise man said and killed the snake.

But when he wanted to throw it away, the girl, after she woke up from the fainting that had hit her from this difficult experience, asked him to leave it to her because she wanted to keep it for a purpose, so she kept it after putting a lot of salt on it so that it wouldn't stink or rot..... !

The good man asked the girl to marry him, and she agreed, so live with honor and chastity.

They got married, had children, and the girl became a mother, and they lived a happy life.

One day she asked her husband to visit her brother, her husband was surprised by her request and said to her: Do you visit him after what he'd done to you?

She said to him: He is my brother and I raised him and I cannot forget him, the man agreed to her request.

The woman and her children come up with a plan to clear herself in front of her brother, which is to ask her to tell them a story when they go to their uncle's house.

And she began preparing to go with her children, and did not forget the snake that she had kept for years.

They went to her brother's house, and when they arrived, the people of the house welcomed them and honored them as if nothing had happened.

At night, before the children fell asleep, they asked their mother, as was the agreement, to tell them a story before bed, and the mother pretended not to know the tales so that her plan would not be revealed, and she said to them: I do not know any tale, ask your uncle, perhaps he has a tale to tell you.

But the brother apologized and said: From where can I know tales to tell?, and in these moments, the mother decided to carry out her plan.

She said to them, "Now I remembered a beautiful story that I will tell you."

So she started telling a story: Once upon a time, a girl who was hungry asked her mother for food, but her mother did not respond to her request at the time, so the girl released all the birds that her father had hunted. It is the story of her life.

Until she arrived: and the woman got rid of the snake that was inside her as if she was pregnant, which was the reason for her expulsion from the house by her brother, accusing her of obscenity, but this woman kept the snake and here is the snake with me ... so she took it out of her belongings to show her innocence.

Her brother's wife understood what she meant and felt ashamed and did not know what to do. As for her brother, he deeply regretted that he did not verify the matter.

And at this point, a strange thing happened

The earth split open and swallowed her brother's wife, and it was going to swallow her brother, but his sister caught him from his hair and saved him from destruction.

And......the story is over.
