1 ANNOUNCEMENT

Hi Everyone!

As I've posted elsewhere, I want to make sure everyone sees - The Violet Fox is moving to a non exclusive contract. This means that it will be available here, on Webnovel, as well as a few other channels through the distributor. That said, the link/book will be moving *within* the Webnovel platform!

This copy of the novel will not be updated anymore. The new link should be up very shortly, and will have the exact same name (and the exact same content, cover, etc) as this one, but you'll have to search for it in the Webnovel search system. Unfortunately I'll also have the reader count reseset which I'm -_____- but no worries! The backlog of books wanting to be screened for an exclusive contract with Webnovel that wasn't part of a contest etc was so extensive that we were in the que for *5 months* without an end in sight, and the Webnovel staff was super helpful in guiding me to how to speed up the process. I LOVE writing this book and if you told me a year ago I would be writing anything, let alone decide to write a sequel novel for a fantasy web series about snake babies or whatever, because I wanted to give Harvey more screen time and the girl characters more of a voice, I'd tell you you were crazy.

Instead, here we are, AND in this I'd like to announce that not only am I not dropping Doe Eyed, but it's been offered an Exclusive Contract. So I've gone from not an author, to writing in my free time, to writing two novels while trying to juggle my real freelance work. Whoops!

Your continued support through figuring out how these contracts work, and inevitably messing up, has been really noticed and appreciated. As of this point I don't see myself getting enough work on either book done that you would be able to unlock "privilege," unless Webnovel tiers it themselves like that at some point. The good news with that, is that while I cannot offer specifically free chapters on Violet Fox to the people who have already read the locked chapters (they will lock at 42) you SHOULD be able to just go ahead and unlock 127 (which will be titled, "One,") and keep reading. The downside is eventually, quite shortly, I will have to close down this copy and you won't be able to read back on the other chapters for free, but in no way do you have to unlock all the chapters to pick up where you left off.

I don't know how fast the book will be launched, I do know they already tried but ran up against a wall because I needed to change the title of this copy. So my HOPE is that it will be up this week, with a new chapter, or three, depending on how long it takes to publish here!
