13 Chapter*Twelve

I cannot wait, to punch his beautiful face into the ground. I still wasn't sure what he had posted.

Aaron's still mad at me, I mean how was I supposed to know he had liked Luke? I'm still going to go to that party and fix all of this.

I walk down the main hall and out the entrance doors. I was ready to go home and forgive and forget all if this. What am I even saying?

"Hey! Kani! Wait up!" A masculine voice calls my name. I turn to see Luke running after me in a white T-shirt. His dirty blonde hair moving with him as he runs.

Oh my gosh! Kani stop fantasizing! Right now he is your enemy!

"Hey... Luke.." I said sounding uncomfortable.

"Kani where you off to right now?" He said and his hands through his hair and pushed it out his face.

"Home, why?"

"Can I take you somewhere real quick?" He said with hopefulness in his eyes.

I need to have a conversation with you anyway you ungrateful swine!

"Sure, I guess."

Luke lead me to his white Mercedes Benz. I knew he was rich kid. I mean it was obvious, no one has teeth that reflects the sun when they smile.

We sat in his car in silence for about a minute until I clear my throat and turn to face him.

"So..I've heard, that you've been posting stuff about us on Instagram." I said and failed to make.

"What? Who said that?" He said, his voice sounding pitched.

"Aaron, my bestie, I always believe him, he's like my non-existent brother!" I said confidently and he gave me a look of concern.

"You believe everything he says?" He said and raised his eyebrow.

"I mean, I guess?"

"So if he said there was Beyoncé, at the bottom of a cliff, and he told you to jump. Would you do it?" He said then shook his head.

"Well..no, of course not-"

"So why in the world would I post stuff about us on my Instagram about us?" He said and laughed.

"I mean you just came back from where ever you came from and it's hard to tell how much you've changed." I said as I tried to defend my argument.

"Come on Kani, I've know you since 2nd grade! I would never do anything like that to you. Your too important for me." He said and smiled warmly.

"Y-yeah I guess your right" I started messing with my hair at his last words.

"What I really wanted to talk to you about was if you were still up for that party with me on Friday?" He said and slightly leaned closer to me in his seat.

"Yeah, about that,Luke can we go just as friends ,maybe?"He pauses to think for a moment then smiles at me.

"Sure, I mean I was kinda hoping you would say no."
