Bonus*Chapter

Kani's POV

9 years ago I was granted the opportunity to stay with Jason and that's exactly what we did.

It still seems crazy that it's been so long. I've went to college and almost immediately after that we got married.

I'm still a nobody to the palace and some of its people, but I knew it was worth it, but because in the end we get to stay with each other.

"It was such a long journey to be with your father, and it was worth it." I said as I smiled at the 4 year old boy.

"Mommy was daddy ever mean to you?" Preston asked as he looked up at me with those same hazel brown eyes like his father.

"Mean? I was never mean."

A sudden deep voice said. I looked up to see that Jason had entered our shared bedroom. I grinned at him, but he had that same goofy smile back from highschool."Is everybody ready for the birthday boy?" Jason said as he knelt down in front of me to be eye level with Preston.

Preston was going to have a birthday party right at the palace. He was turning five years old.

Preston shook his head and Jason frowned."Why not?"

He crossed his arms and pouted. "I want you to apologize to mommy you were mean to her." He said in the best serious tone he could make.

Jason looked at me questioningly and I only laughed at him."Preston's right, you were very very mean to me."

"Fine then. Kani I apologize for being very very mean to you. Will you forgive me beautiful?" He says as he looks up at me with his hazel eyes and innocent smile. My face begins to feel hit and I change the subject.

"Preston you better hurry down stairs. They might blow out the candles without you." I warned and immediately he hops off my lap and runs out of the room.

I stand up to straighten my yellow off the shoulder gown when Jason suddenly grabs my waist and brings me closer to him.

"Beautiful as usual." He says as he leans in for a kiss, but we were interrupted when Devanie came barging into the room.

"Ew! Gross!" Devanie screams as she quickly covers her eyes. "Your 18 get over it." I said as I rolled my eyes.

"Just hurry down stairs we need all of the main guests in order to start." Devanie said before quickly walking away.

With that I give an irritated Jason a small kiss on his cheek and grab his hand to head toward the main hall.
