Reunited

Kellian Heart was Hated since the day she was born. Her mother, Kaila thought of her as a disgusting monster and an absolute disgrace. The only people who ever cared about her since her birth were her Father, Kian Heart, and her best friend, Ein.

She was a beautiful little girl of light brown skin tone. She had blue hair that reached past her shoulders at the time and stunning silver eyes. The only issue is that she looked and smelled like a human.

While everyone else found this strange. Her father didn't care and her friend was too young to know why everyone hated her.

When Kellian was five years old her father started teaching her how to fight and protect herself. She was surprisingly good at fighting but her heart was too kind and she avoided hurting others as much as possible.

Ein would always spar with her but lost every time. When she let him win he would yell at her to fight him properly. They would sometimes play games with Kian Heart too. Kaila was always jealous of the attention, her husband gave the two children and harboured hate in her heart.

A year later. Ein was now seven and Kellian was six.

Ein's parents were waiting for Kellian to start school to send Ein so the friends could stay together but after realizing Kaila was never sending Kellian to school they made Ein start school. Because of this Kellian saw him less but they still remained best friends.

Kellian spent more time with her father since she had no one else when Ein was gone. The father and daughter pair was practically inseparable and Kaila grew jealous and hateful.

One day her father brought her out into the woods to teach her how to hunt. He showed how he hunted in both his human and wolf forms. They had fun and the young Kellian loved seeing her father as a wolf. To please his daughter he remained in wolf form while walking her home. Suddenly, there was a rustle in the bushes.

Kian was on high alert and when an Antelope came charging at his daughter he killed it without a second thought. Holding the carcass in his mouth he looked at his daughter and realized she was frozen in fear. Before he could even turn his head to see what she was so scared of...

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!

The sounds of guns went off. Around twenty silver bullets had entered his body. He fell to the ground.

Using the last of his energy he transformed into his human form and stared at his daughter with his unique pink eyes and said, "I l-love you... *cough* Please stay... s-strong f- *cough cough* f-for me... and y-your *cough* mother. We will *cough cough* a-always be with y-you—"

Kellian broke into tears and started shaking his lifeless body.

"Daddy!! Daddy! *sob* Please stop joking around! *sob* Get up!!! *sniff* G-get up..." She sobbed uncontrollably finally accepting the truth, her father was gone forever.

"Hey. Don't worry little girl. The monster is dead now. We shot it with silver bullets. There's no way it's alive!! The blood loss and poison from the silver are more than enough to kill it." A man tried to comfort the scared six-year-old girl walking closer to her gun in hand.

"Now come with me I'll bring you somewhere safe." He had a crooked smile whilst grabbing her hand. His grip was also too strong for someone trying to help someone.

She tried to struggle but his grip was too strong. He started to drag her. Scared and terrified her first instinct was to bite the man. He let go and yelled in pain. As soon as he did she ran. She used techniques she learnt from her father and got home safely without being followed.

Tears still in her eyes she immediately ran in search of Kaila.

"Ew! Get your hands off me!!" Kaila kicked the crying six-year-old girl.

"Where the hell is your father?"

"I- H-h-he's—" Kellian struggled to get the words out.

"Spit it out, stupid child!!!" Kaila hit the child over the head as hard as she could.

"He's dead!" Kellian shouted and burst into tears once again both from the pain of losing her father and getting hit.

"He's what?" Kaila dropped to her knees.

"No... It can't be... My husband... We didn't even have any real children together..." She suddenly stopped morning and looked at Kellian crying in front of her.

"You!? It's all your fault!! He's dead because of you!!!" She blamed Kellian wholeheartedly.

That day Kellian felt the worst pain she'd ever felt in her life. Ever since that dreadful day, not a day went by where Kellian was not abused in some way shape or form.

Kaila treated Kellian like a maid-slave. She banned Kellian from calling her mother. Kellian was not allowed to do anything without Kaila's permission and above all, she must never leave the house.

Kaila would always give excuses why Ein could not see Kellian every day until he stopped visiting. He believed Kellian did not like him anymore.

Ten years later. Kellian is sixteen. Her blue hair was longer and stopped at her lower back.

She had just gotten out of the shower and was dressing in an outfit set out for her. It was a plain white T-shirt with stylish blue jeans and black converses.

'These are new. Why? Is it because she's sending me to school today? Does she really care about her appearance that much? Even though she told me to never mention her she still gave me new clothes and made sure I didn't have any bruises. Sigh, I have such a great mother.' Kellian packed her bag the threw it over her right shoulder.

She applied a perfume that disguised her human scent and left for school.

After orientation, she found her locker, took out her required books then placed the rest of her books in the locker.

She was heading to her next class her attention focused on the map in her hands when she walked into something.

'Ouch. Who put a wall in front of me!'

She looked up and saw a tall werewolf guy. He was light-skinned, had shoulder-length black hair and cold electric blue eyes. He was in human form and his ears and tail were hidden meaning he was very skilled in transformation or just overall powerful.

I forgot to mention, Kellian was 5'7" (175cm) and he was 6'1" (186cm).

Kellian was slightly intimidated by his cold aura and backed away instinctively.

"Are you not going to apologize for being blind!?" One of the girls that surrounded him yelled.

It seemed like none of them were his friends since he looked annoyed. This upset Kellian.

"Last time I checked I didn't walk into you." She retorted. She wasn't about to be talked down to by someone who looks like a clown that forgot the nose.

"How dare this—" She was drowned out by the bell.

The guy had long escaped the girls while they were distracted by Kellian. Kellian realizing this walked away ignoring the girl and her friends' mean comments.

'That guy didn't seem like he cared about me walking into him. He looked more like he was just confused. He even left without saying anything.'

'If he doesn't care I shouldn't either. But what if—' Her thoughts were cut short when someone called her name.

"Kellian?" It was a male werewolf. He was about 6ft tall and had black hair in an undercut hairstyle with blue streaks. he also dyed his tail with blue streaks. He had grey eyes and a dark complexion.

"Do I know you?"

"You don't remember me?" He frowned as the words left his mouth.

Upon closer inspection Kellian realized he was her childhood best friend, Ein Dixon. She was dumbfounded. Kaila had told her he moved away so she never expected to see him here.

"How and why are you here?" He asked shocked but there was a hint of coldness in his voice.

"Kaila finally decided to send me to school." Kellian didn't want to include the reason she was given.

Kaila had told her she was tired of seeing Kellian's face.

"I see." He looked at her small frame and immediately marked her as weak. "Be careful." He said then walked off.

"Ein! Wait! Do you know where math class is?" She ran after him.

"I have math. Follow me."

'Something is off. He seems more distant. Like he doesn't want to talk to me. I wonder what's wrong?'

'At least I was reunited with my childhood best friend and I won't be alone. I think he still cares about me though. He wouldn't have called out to me otherwise... right?'
