11 Astrid is back!

(Astrid's POV)

I pressed my body against the door slowly opening it. As soon as the slit was big enough I pressed myself inside and closed the door again. It closed with a loud creak as the strong wind blew against it.

As I looked around I saw the rest of the gang sitting on a table. I could hear Hiccup talking. "According to Gothi the storm is going to get weaker and stop tomorrow morning. If Fishlegs calculated everything correctly" "And I never make errors" Fishlegs interrupted Hiccup wo was a little bit annoyed.

"Then we should be able to fly safely. We are going to search for Astrid. Everyone of you will follow one of this routes and..." Tuffnut interrupted him. "Wy would we search for her if she is coming right to us?" He pointed at me while I was running over to them

"What do you mean with.... Astrid!" Hiccup stormed in my direction and hugged me as soon as I was close enough"

"You need to help me find..." but I couldn't finish my sentence before the rest of the gang arrived and bombarded me with questions.

"Have you found the island?". "Are you ok?". "Are you cold?". "Where were you?". "Why didn't you come back earlier?" and so on.

While the questions continued Hiccup brought me to the table and gave me something to eat. He turned to the others and told them to shut up in a rather polite way. Then he turned back to me. "Are you ok?" he asked me and I responded with "I think so"

After that I ate in silence and a few minutes after I finished Fishlegs asked me the question which he wanted to ask me the whole time. He sat next to me. "SO have you found it?"

I rolled my eyes "Yes I have but it was all for nothing" "What do you mean with that?" He asked. "Do you remember the strange symbols on the map. It means nothing else than that on this island is a lake with the best fish in the world.

"You found someone who could translate that? Who was it?" I sipped on a warm drink hiccup brought me. "Zoya translated it for me...." I stared at the liquid in my cup remembering the moment I last saw her. "Who is Zoya?" Fishlegs leaned closer to me and whispered.

I jumped up from my seat "Shit shit shit!" I screamed. "Hiccup! go get Toothless!" Then I stormed to the door while everyone in the hall was staring at me. Hiccup, Toothless and Fishlegs followed me without asking questions and I was just in panic.

We left the great hall and were immediately greeted by strong winds and rain. I ran in the direction she was blown off to and started screaming her name. "Zoya!" No response "Astrid! would you mind explaining what we are doing out here?"

After I screamed her name again I turned my head to Hiccup. "How do you think I got back here? Do you think I swam?" "So we are searching for a dragon!" Fishlegs realized before Hiccup

(Toothless POV)

I was laying near the fire as Hiccup suddenly dragged me outside together with Astrid and Fishlegs. Astrid screamed this one word the whole time "Zoya" and after a few minutes the others started to scream with her.

"Shhhhhhhht!" Astrid told us to be silent like she heard something. Then I heard it. In the distance there was a weak scream that sounded almost like... "No way" I sprinted in the direction the sound came from. "Hiccup I thing Toothless heard something!" They started running after me.

(Zoya's POV)

I opened my eyes. Something really hurt. As I checked myself I saw my left wing being bent in a really awkward and unnatural direction. As I tried to move me I roared in pain "fuck fuck fuck" I twitched "What am I going to do now?" I asked myself clenching my teeth. Well... They were retracted but you know what I mean.

I heard Astrid shouting my name in the distance. Ignoring my wing I stood up but I was immediately forced back through the immense pain and roared. I pushed myself in the position that was the most comfortable with my left wing fully stretched out lying on the grass. I closed my eyes whimpering.

(Hiccup's POV)

We followed Toothless until he suddenly stopped. I walked next to him and pressed the bush aside. I gasped for air as I saw the black whimpering bundle lying on the ground. "Come on help me!" Astrid screamed. "Why didn't you tell me that you found a night fury" I screamed at her. She screamed at me "If you don't help me now Toothless will really be the last one so shut up and help me!"

(Toothless POV)

Infront of me was something I never expected to see again. There was a living, breathing female night fury. Her whimpering let my protective instinct take over and I rushed to her side. "Her wing is broken!" Fishlegs said after closer inspection.

I looked at her face which was clearly showing that she was in pain. "Are you okay?" I asked her while pushing my head slightly with my snout but I only got whimpering as a response.

(Hiccup's POV)

"We need to get back. We need the others to help us!" I looked at Toothless and gestured him to come with me but he shook his head and pointed to the night fury lying on the ground. "Ok bud. Take good care of her while we get help" With that we ran back to the great hall.
