Loni: The Second Trinity in Power

Two days passed after my battle against Komine and Inami. I was still the talk of the academy and even gained some popularity amongst students. I looked at a map of the school on my phone to find my next class.

I walked down the East Courtyard then heard a roar. I stopped and looked back noticing Loni standing behind me. She slammed her fist against the palm of her hand then smirked. "Loni Lionhart. So you also make yourself known that you wish to fight me. So be it." I dropped my bag then put my hair in a ponytail.

"You better not hold back against me! You will regret it!" Loni said then her eyes shined.

Zera walked down the halls, looking out the window then noticed Loni running to me. She watched and noticed other students arrive at the window getting news about the battle happening.

"Loni! Get him! You're the Second Trinity!"

Loni went for kicks and punches at me. I blocked and parried her attacks then she palmed my chest and I groaned as a pulse-like wave was released from her hand, blowing me away. I rolled on my side. I slowly stood up and looked up.

'She's strong and I can't copy her power because she's not allowing me to catch an opening. If she doesn't have an opening...I will just make my own!' I thought to myself then my aura surged.

"Getting serious now aren't we?" Loni smirked.

I cloaked myself in aura and it turned yellow. The people watching looked surprised.

"He can change the color of his aura..?"

"What does that mean?"

"You just keep surprising me. Can't believe the first day we met I tried to beat you up. Your power does seem a bit familiar thought. Like we've fought in the past before." Loni smirked and got into a stance. "Enough chatter! Show me your pow-"

I appeared in front of Loni and my eyes shined then palmed her stomach, releasing a pulse-like wave that blew her away. She recovered by doing a summersault in the air then landed on her feet. I looked at my hand then looked back at Loni. 'It's been a while since I last used my own aura for combat..' I thought to myself.

Loni roared loudly and I grunted. I got in a stance then looked at Loni. Her hair grew longer and her eyes shined brightly. "Now I'm getting serious. You've done well...but play time is over. You're now fighting with the Queen of the Cats!"

She dashed to me. I grunted at her speed then blocked her attack and slid back I dodged her attacks then she kicked me away. I crashed into a wall then she punched the air, releasing a blast of pressure at me. I was hit with the blast of pressure and groaned loudly. I slid off the wall them fell to my knees.

"Whoo!! Let's go Loni! Queen of the Cats!"

"Put him back in his place! Show him what for!"

Sol watched from the window in her office and crossed her arms. "Luna...what's his ranking?"

"He's currently not even fully trying. His overall is a 6.8 and even still...he has somehow made Loni get serious. He can change the color of his aura. That organization really did make him a weapon.." Luna said as she looked on her computer. "An organization named Nexus. He's Subject Number 521. It is said when he gets serious, he can use multiple colors of aura at once. He and his mother...are weapons."

I stood up then loosened my tie and looked at Loni. I decide to get serious and closed my eyes. I fused my yellow aura with indigo aura. I exhaled then my aura calmly spiralled around me. I entered a Tranquil State then opened my eyes.

"Two different colored auras? Who is this guy?"

Zera watched and looked impressed. "This must be his power when he doesn't copy other people's abilities. The color of his aura gives him the ability to gain power."

"Now this is getting good!" Loni laughed.

"Loni! Destroy him! Show him the power of a Trinity!"

"Just as you got serious...Let me show you the power..of an Ultimate Weapon." I said then took a step and vanished.

"Aura Empowerment is also a factor to his ability.." Sol said. "Although no one can break the 10 Ranking, he can get faster and stronger. When he uses his own aura abilities he cancels out the use of Power Replication. This is Shin Pi's real abilities."

Loni blocked my attack and had a wide smile of excitement on her face. 'This rush...I haven't felt this rush in a long time. Shin, give me more of this! More!'

"Loni is smiling. She never smiles when she fights."

"She's having fun. This is the first time in forever she's had fun in a fight." Zera said then noticed me smiling as well. "They both are enjoying their battle."

Loni went for a quick flurry of attacks. I dodged her attacks then went for another palm she palmed my arm down then punched my face.

"She just wants to fight opponents that are strong. She wants to have fun and Shin is giving that to her." Zera smiled.

She dashed to me and palmed the air. I dodged her pressure strike then spun around and kicked, releasing a razor wind made from my aura. She blocked it and an explosion happened.

Miriam, Sasha, Komine, and Inami watched the fight at well. Ame watched in awe and her eyes sparkled.

"Shin! You can do it!" A girl cheered.

"Yeah Shin! You got this!"

"They are now cheering for Shin. What a twist of Fates." Vexin laughed and watched.

I jumped back and panted, looking at Loni. She panted as well and stood up straight.

"I haven't felt a rush like this since that School Battle against someone like you two years ago. He had similar powers, but couldn't copy abilities. I think his name was Shunji Ioki." Loni smiled.

"Glad I could give you a rush, but I'm afraid I'm gonna end this battle here!" I shrugged and looked at Loni.

"Heh. Let's end this with a bang then!" Loni roared and dashed to me.

I dashed to her and went for an attack. Our fists clashed. Loni grunted and closed one eye. She went for a multi strike attack and I dodged her attacks then went for my own multi strike attack. She grunted and took a step back.

'Why am I getting tired so quickly..?' Loni thought to herself.

She blocked my attack then grunted once again then stumbled. I kicked her away then she fell to her knees and panted. She looked up at me then I walked to her and crouched down. I flicked her forehead then she turned normal. "Wha.." She looked at me shocked.

"By absorbing your aura, I caused you to lose your ability to use your power." I said then gave her aura back to her.

She looked at me and I stood up then walked by her to pick up my bag then walked away. "Aura Manipulation at its finest...He has full mastery of his ability.."

"He...beat Loni. How strong can this guy get..?"

"The only person left is Zera, but she's the strongest in the school! She has an unbeatable record! No one can match her in power, not even Shin."

Zera smiled and walked away.

....

"Loni!" Miriam burst in the infirmary.

"Hey hey! Quiet down this is the fucking infirmary!" The nurse scolded. "She's resting...sleeping I might add."

Miriam walked to Loni's bed, seeing her sleeping and smiling. "He even beat you. Is there no end to his power..? Zera if you fight him, you've got to show him that us Trinities aren't pushovers."

...

I went to the roof and noticed Zera standing by the fence, looking down at the other students. "Zera."

Zera looked back then looked at me. "Hey Shin. A lot of pressure is on me now to beat you. I'm not sure if I want to fight you. Especially now seeing your real abilities. As the strongest Trinity, however, it is my duty to restore balance in this academy. So, Shin Pi! I challenge you to an official Trinity Battle!"

I looked at her and felt the wind blowing. I placed my hands in my pockets then closed my eyes and turned around. "I accept, but...you losing would cause more harm. I will lose on-"

"You better not lose on purpose!" Zera yelled and looked at me. "If you lose on purpose...I will never forgive you! You've shown me that your power exceeds even the Headmasters expectations. I refuse to be embarrassed because you feel sorry for me."

I looked back at Zera then she walked to me. "Zera.."

"Don't hold back because I won't. I will actually show you why I am number one! So show me...what truly makes you a weapon." Zera touched my arm then gave me a gentle smile.

I sighed and scratched the back of my head then smiled at her. "Fine. Fine."

"Thank you. The fight will happen tomorrow after school. I will get the approval of the Headmasters and we will go from there." Zera nodded.

"Gotcha. See you tomorrow." I said then walked off.

"Yeah...I'll see you tomorrow." She responded then walked back to the fence. She placed her hand on the fence then closed her eyes. She let out a sigh. "He's already beaten the four Trinities...Loni is the only one who's given him trouble. She wasn't allowing him to copy her ability. He can be outsmarted, but if I leave myself open he can copy my Time Manipulation and just overpower me. How can I improve on my power..?"
