Chapter 2

"We are here today to-" The pastor begins.

Oh great. Here we go, another freaking wedding. Why is it that everyone in this little town has to invite everyone, and expect everyone to come?

Let's just hope they didn't write their own-

"Would you please share with us your vows." The pastor kindly asks the bride. Great. I hope this is short.

After nodding, the red head nods her head begining, "I won't promise anything to you.  I do know that I will care for you when you are sick. I know that I have loved you more than anyone, I have loved before. I can't promise that this will be forever, but I can offer you now and that is the best gift I can give you." She finishes looking down.

"Compared to your vows- or anything you do- I could never compare." The grooms says winking at her with his beautiful green eyes. "We have lasted this long, and I hope we can always try for tomorrow."  The grooms says finishing his vows.

Umm... I was expecting a bit langthier vows from them.

After the rest of the ceremony, everyone gets up to leave to join the after party, Everyone except Malia and I.

"I'm sorry." Malia says as I continue to stare at the cross i the front of the church. We sat in the last pew, because I didn't need anyone seeing me.

"Why? It's not your fault." I mummur.  "At least he will be happy." I say, referring to him.

Flashback

"We are almost done with our decisions." He says, closing the blue binder.

"Uhh! What else could there possibly be." I groan, spinning in my chair. I stop and look at his forest green eyes looking sternly at me.

"We have to decide the date." He says, picking up a calender. Where the heck did that come from?

"I thought the church was gonna tell us the date."

"That's not how that works." He says chuckling, but stops when he sees my glare and turns it into a 'cough.'

"Well how about next month?" I ask, getting distracted again.

  "In June?"

"Sure."

"So you want a June wedding?" He asks smirking.

"Well we could wait until July to get married, but that means your not getting any for two more months." I say teasing him, and he pops up.

"No! June is a fine month to get married."

"What day? We can't get married all month, unless your vows are that long." I ask as he pulls me down on the couch, beside him.

"How about... the sixteenth?" He asks

"Okay. Now all we have to is send the invitation's."

"Speaking of invitation's-" He begins, but is cut off by me shushing him.

"No more wedding stuff. I am tired."

"Sweet dreams, my love."

FLASHBACK OVER

"Sylil..." Malia says my name, snapping me out of the past.

   "Yeah?"

"Are you okay?"

"Would you be if you were me?"

"Let's get you home. We don't have to go to-" She begins, but I cut her short.

"No. We should stay and wish them luck." I say putting on a fake smile.

   "Are you sure?"

"Yeah. Besides I don't think he would want me to miss a party." I say getting up, with Malia right behind me.
