Chapter 2 -SHE'S CHANGED

ANDREW'S POV

It's been four years now since I lost my best friend and high school crush. Ever since her parent died it just seem as if she vanished into thin air. I had dreams for both of us, who knows if she had stayed maybe she would have been my girlfriend by now. I miss her so much it just hurts me, to wake up one day and found out that she's gone, no traces of her, but I did help her with some things. I took over her parents company for her, helped her managed it which I knew she would be grateful for, I also am currently living in her parent's house partly because I know this is the first place she'll return to and secondly because I know how much this place really means to her, all the memories of us this place holds together is one of the reasons I don't want to live this place.

Currently now just finished from high school and helping at the company, no plans for college yet cause I believe that she's gonna come back for me really soon. With that I got out of the bathroom and got ready to have breakfast when I saw something unbelievable.

When I got downstairs I saw her coming in towards the sitting room, but the first thing I noticed was that she looked different her Carmel brown hair was now blonde, her calm sea blue eyes were now piercing hazel eyes, so I did the first thing that came to my mind. Mishael? I called out.

MISHEAL'S POV

Mishael?

I couldn't forget who owns that voice Drew, I turned towards the direction of the voice and saw him. He was still has handsome as I remembered but over this four he became more muscular and drop dead gorgeous, I immediately ran to him towards the stairs to tackle him in a hug. His hug was so warm and tight as I remembered although I didn't expect him to recognize me but he did he knew me.

I went on and narrated everything that happened the last four years to him. After we went to the dinning. He was shocked and sad but to say he was angry with the murderer was an understatement, he was livid, I told him about my plans and he promised to support me and to be with me every step of the way for that I was indeed very grateful. I asked him what he had been up to the past four years and he told me that he had taken over the companies for the meantime when I was away but he was solely focused on the tech company seeing as that was he's field of expertise, he also told me he misses me a lot and that that was the major reason he moved in to my house hoping that one day I'll come back. I was extremely happy with what he said and the part he said he misses me. He told me to go freshen up and he was gonna take me out to which I agreed and went up stairs to go change. When I got to my room I was surprised to find things the way I left it but the surprising part was that all the clothes in my closet were recent once from my favorite brand (Emily's wardrobe) and they were all my size. I wandered how he knew my exact size, but that was not important cause the important thing is that he still remembers me even after all four years. I quickly picked out my outfit which was armless blue floral kneel dress and black jacket, went into the bathroom, did my business and went downstairs to meet Drew. From there we went to my favorite pastry shop (Mac muffins). It's still suppressing that not much had changed in this place since the last four years, "or let's just agreed that some things are still the way you left it". Yeah trust the bitch to make an appearance when you least expect. We went inside and sat at our usual boot. The Waiter came and took our orders, while I went for the vanilla flavored muffins and black coffee, Drew went for his usual chocolate flavored muffins and black coffee too.

All the while it's seems Drew was nervous about something, I didn't ask cause I was scared to know the answer, but I didn't let that bother me, immediately our orders came I devoured it as quickly as I could and ordered another one. It was this action of mine that seem to catch Drew's attention because he immediately spoke up and said "slow down hungry wolf your pretty isn't going away, infact it stayed for you all this while and would still wait here anytime you want to come by". To which I just snorted because I was already stuffing my face with the second round. We talked and devised a plan to find Him and by the time we were through it was already getting dark so we decided to head home and rest.
