1 Prologue

It wasn't love at first sight.

It certainly wasn't a love that slowly formed over time either.

It wasn't also a love that shifted from being friends to lovers.

As a matter of fact, we hated each other.

We hated each other's guts and attitude, we were the complete opposite and I hated her more for that.

So when did I know that I was in love with her?

During the Mid-year festival, when the fireworks light up the night sky.

As the different colors spark like stars in the dark sky, my gaze landed on her.

It wasn't intentional, no, it just happened so suddenly.

Suddenly, her face which was lit up by the lights of the fireworks looked beautiful.

Her face that shone with delight as she watch the sky was something I could easily remember up to this day.

Suddenly, my heart started beating faster and all I could see amidst the crowds was her and I.

All I could think of was how I wanted to hold, hug and kiss her.

That was when I realized that I was doomed.

Because at that time all I could think about was us.
