The school bell rang.

I bolted out of my class and ran to the forest- to our secret spot by the ocean .

I checked my watch ;2:30pm.

I would wait , no matter how long it might takes . I'm sure rayne would come .

4:00pm.

" I'm hungry and it's getting cold "

I looked around" was she really not going to come ?"

6:00pm

I started shaking. I didn't know I easily get cold. This moment reminded me of yesterday when she laughed at me . I smiled.

What could have possibly gone wrong ?

7:45pm

" You idiot!!" I heard a voice shout .

I looked back and smiled . It was rayne

" Why did you keep on waiting here when you saw I wasn't coming ?!"

She was angry again .

But I was happy to see her

" Y...you a..re h...e..re , aren't you?" I shivered.

She took my hands" let's go "

She took me to a place where fire had already been setup. Did she start the fire?

"Stay close to the fire and warm up " she said and was about to let go off my hand but I held her hand tightly .

" P...lease d..on't g...o ..ca..n y...ou te...ll me w....hat I d...Id w..rong?"

She laughed " you know , you really shouldn't talk in your state "

I smiled . She always ends up laughing at romantic moments. That's exactly why I had forced myself to say those words

I nodded my head.

After a while , I started feeling warm .

" When did you get here ? I didn't hear you coming"I asked

She shrugged " I'm here now aren't I ?"

" Thank you for coming "

Looking at me with a serious gaze, she said " I actually came to tell you I'm leaving "

As expected, good things don't last forever right ?
