Shouting match
Victoria blinked as she looked around the very large and crowded room. Much like the main floor it was open. There were fuseball and pool and ping-pong tables every where and even a couple air hockey tables in the far corner. There were also arcade style games on most of the walls. Where she was sitting on a wide, long couch was a very large platinum TV that was obviously hooked up to gaming systems. at the moment Simon was sitting in the lap of a very large man next to her who seemed more interested in sucking his neck than watching the violent video game play on the screen.
She flinched as a character in the game exploded and she heard someone cus loudly. She stood up still holding the baby as two men in black button downs and dark jeans came into the room. she turned and began to make her way to what she hoped was the stairs out of this place. Another large man dressed in a black button down and dark jeans put his hand on her shoulder as he spoke with the two men who had just come in. He was pointing out somethings in the room that he said the alpha wanted.
"Okay. We can go now." He said and motioned for her to proceed him up the stairs. Once she was seated close to the half hidden door she knew to be the alpha's office she relaxed. His warm comforting scent worked its magic and she settled in.
"What the fuck dude? Why is my mate being dragged up here!" The large angery man said as he approached with four young men from Texas Storm at his back along with the two warriors she had seen earlier.
"Alpha wanted to speak with them. Don't ask me why." Her companion stated as he moved to stand between her and the angry man.
"Kole. please calm down." Simon pleaded as his eyes darted to her and back to his seething mate. "You'll scare her and then you'll be -"
"No I won't calm down! This is bullshit! You did nothing wrong!" Victoria flinched and squealed at his rage. The baby stirred and began to wail as he continued to yell at the warrior who held his ground.
"Great you woke Mellony! She has colic and hasn't really slept in days!" He bellowed back. "I ought to take you out and..." What her body guard was going to do was drowned out as all the others started yelling as well. Victoria stood up suddenly and began to move towards the office door. She saw a large man dressed similarly to the warriors exit the door and the alpha as well, still in his black sweatpants.
"SILENCE!" Pitch bellowed over the commotion. Mellony just wailed louder, as if to tell everyone that she was furious about being woken up from her very restful nap in Victoria's arms. The man who came out with the alpha stepped closer to take the wailing baby.
'It's okay, Victoria. He's her father.' Snow reassured and Victoria meekly passed him the pup. She just wailed louder and grabbed hold of Victoria's hair. "I'm sorry." She whimpered meekly as she pulled Mellony close to her again.
"It's okay." He chuckled and stepped away from her so she could go to Pitch.
"Victoria. To me!" He snapped and she complied. Mellony put her head down and started to wail once more as they got closer to him. "What is the meaning of this commotion!" He demanded of the others.
"I demand to know what Simon did wrong!" The brown haired man spoke.
"You demand NOTHING! Weak as you are you got lucky with your title!" Pitch bellowed. "Further more, if it weren't for Titan you would have been out on your ass years ago! You do not supercede my authority in this pack Beta! Mind your place!" Everyone the only sound in the room was Mellony crying in her arms in fright. Someone came close and whispered in her ear.
"Luna come to the office. It's best Mellony not be exposed to this." He put his hand on her waist and guided her into the alpha's office were he encouraged her to take any seat she desired.
