Nomad (Prologue)

A man walked across the barren landscape that was a wasteland. The only things you could see were trees lining the horizon and vultures that swooped from above, eating the cadavers that lie scattered around. He taps at the air, making the gesture of using a touch screen. Suddenly, a gigantic sand demon appears from the sand, towering over the man at around 25 feet.

The man smirks, saying "System, activate Physical Strengthening."

As he says this, his muscles bulge and a slightly noticeable aura of blue air wraps around him. He darts forward, a fist pointed at the demon and hits it in the center of its body, air rushing forward leaving a gaping hole in the middle of its body. Sand slowly recedes, taking the place of the displaced sand that is now on the ground. The fiend groans, hitting its human-like hands against the ground making waves that spread through the sand.

The man jumped up towards the monster's head, hitting the head with his fist, entirely obliterating it and leaving behind a verdant gem. He picks up the gem, inspects it, and puts it forward, as if giving it to the air. The gem is sucked up, leaving behind an odd noise that seemingly came from nowhere.

A voice rang out, most likely talking to the man,

"Congrats to the host for submitting a 2nd-tier core, rewarding 100 Coins. Thank you for your compliance."

He grins as a blue game-like interface appears in front of him. On the top left corner of the interface was the word shop in bold, black letters. Below that were images displaying many things, ranging from swords to skill books to even dolls. He glances toward a black and purple skill book titled "13 Hells Fist."

Below the skill book was a price, stating that it cost 99 coins. The man pressed the buy button.

In front of him appeared a purple book, a black rectangle in the middle of the book displayed the writing, "13 Hells Fist." He skimmed through the book, looking at the various images depicting a man in several odd stances. The man copied what he had seen almost to perfection, spare the fact that his fist was slightly slanted down for each stance.

He repeatedly shifted stances, seemingly going on for hours. After a few more hours of sweating, a luminous halo appears, stacked upon several other luminescent halos, each being varying colors. Soon after the appearance of the halos came their disappearance, leaving only silence where they were.
