Chapter 2:Compassion

I've been searching for books my whole life and it delights me so much to see someone being so compassionate reading all the books i have collected but i never seen someone who forgot to sleep nor eat while reading my books,he doesn't even look tired at all.

No signs of fatigue or any circles below his eye,it's like he is so focused learning everything on the book and in a span of 3 days he was able to read all the books in my library which contains more than a thousand books but he did it.

I was watching him the whole time but he never once tried to look at me,now that he has finished reading all the books,i tried to have a talk with him.

"Did you have fun reading?"

Olive's pov:

he doesn't seem to have any bad intentions so i answered him in his language,"yes,it was great but do you know where i would find magic books?"

the old man answered me with a sad voice"sadly,you won't find any here but you could find some at shops but they are a little bit expensive,buying one would be equal to buying a house,some even become a heirloom"

it's that expensive,if only ATM cards work here,i need to find a place to work so i asked the man for directions"Sir,where can i find the guild?"

the old man answered"it's a bit dangerous to join a guild nowdays,when there are more monsters lurking around the forest than normal but if you really want to,then i'll tell you,i'll even give you a map but in one condition"

i answered with generosity"tell me the details,sir"he wanted me to pay him back 10 times the price of the map and i agreed because the cost doesn't seem too much,i could easily do it with my knowledge.

i traveled to the guild and take a look at their deals,joining the guild is free but you have to pass the test,it looks like a good deal so i accepted it,first to check my phsique,they checked my body and my weight after that i sparred with someone

a big body which could surpass 2 meters in height,has a deep voice and a muscular body "you ready to die?"he asked me and i answered "nah,i prefer living"then he attacked,an attack strong enough to crush a boulder and fast enough to break the sound barrier but also with hundreds of openings,so i attacked all of his openings then he passed out,i also moved at that speed the only difference is that i didn't break the sound barrier because of the martial art i just created based on my imagination.

My body and my mind has been developed since i was born,i never got to have any rest to the point that i got used to it and never got tired again.

Now i'm accepted at the guild as a E rank adventurer,i also finished every task that was given to me and i also payed back the map i took from that librarian,turns out his name is Mark Jerome,a normal librarian who is searching for books his whole life because he thought that finding knowledge and giving it to others as a purpose of his life.

Now i have enough money to buy a magic book,so i bought one and it's only an elementary grade magic which shows the basic spells and theories about mana,mana comes from spirits and spirits are everywhere where ever you are.

To be able to gather mana you need to imagine an empty container after that imagine to put all the wind around you in that container.

"Okay,let's do this"

I sat and keep repeating what the book said until i feel some energy flowing into my heart,it feels light,so i found a better way to get more of this so called "mana".

i imagined the feeling of this light and sucked every energy in the room which i rented,instead on making the energy be contained in my heart,i made it flowed into my veins.

In the book is said that it is dangerous to put it in the veins because one mistake could lead to death but that's not a problem for me because i know the position of the veins in the body and also the whole structure of the human body.

So it won't be a problem all i need is control which is easy considering how light this feels,now that i have finished spreading the mana on my veins,all i need to learn is how to use mana.

To learn how to use mana,you must first release the mana in front of you and imagine a light,second you must know how to control the light that you produced.

So i just imagined a light bulb with 800 lumens of light and it worked,looks like magic can do the impossible.

so i tried creating a metal alloy by thinking all the information about it and it worked but it consumed almost all my energy which made me a bit eager to sleep.

So i just kept reading the whole book and i'll just try these theories tomorrow morning.

I woke up and got to an adventure,i also discovered that by putting mana on your eyes,you will be able to see mana and others like night,heat,X-ray visions,everything is possible with magic if you know how it works.

Magic is just amazing but i have to find a way to go back into my world although nobody will be waiting even if a vanish,i still hold my memory in that world,the memories of my loved once in that world will never be equal to any gift and abilities.

After using the magic book i sold it in a good price and bought a house,a house with a kitchen,comfort room,living room,and one room with one bed,comfortable for me i guess so i got to sleep.
