2 Nobody And The School Trip (Part One)

The rest of the morning was the same dull throb of annoyance as usual. Maria and I did our own separate things to finish getting ready for school. I pigged out on several doughnuts and chocolate milk for breakfast, while Maria drank a high calorie, high vitamin, high protein end-all-be-all, medically prescribed energy shake. With no sense of taste, she barely eats anything, so those drinks sometimes seem as if that's all she lives on.

Our bus ride to school was the same as usual, with Maria taking the window seat and me sitting beside her and having to put up with all the jackasses on the bus. Why can't they just leave us alone?! Dumb asses.

At school, we both went to the same classroom, for a change. Normally, Maria has "A.P. Chemistry" first thing in the morning, while I diddle around in "Art for Artistic Idiots". Well, okay, that might not be the actual name of the art class I'm taking, but everyone knows that's what it actually is – one of those "guaranteed any idiot passes" classes.

This morning, however, we both went to our homeroom class. Today was a class field trip to some boring ass public park, or cave, or something, so we all had to go to our homerooms, where students were separated alphabetically. Since Maria's mother had married my father, we both had the same last names now.

Getting into the "S to Z classroom", Maria took her assigned seat at the second row from the window, second desk from the back. I took my seat behind her, since "Michael Sweeny" comes after "Maria Sweeny", alphabetically. At least I had a seat at the far rear of the class – it helped me ignore the idiot teacher and the rest of the students in our class.

Digging into my backpack, I dug out one of my class books and pretended to be studying it diligently. Maria always kept her nose in a book, and it seemed to be enough to get folks to leave her alone, so I thought I'd give it a try too.

"Morning, Mickey." Almost instantly, my brilliant plan met with utter failure, as a girl gracefully poured herself into the chair on my left.

Vicky…

Ugh! God save me, it's Vicky!

Little miss perfect, Vicky! Cheerleader. Student president. Top academic student — what do you call those? The value-dickatorium, or some such? A beauty. A snob. A real bitch who can't even get my name right!

"Morning, Vicky," I half mumbled in response. Her name is actually Victoria, but I figure if she can't be bothered to learn mine, or call me properly, I'd be damned if I was going to call her by her name either! Michael isn't hard to remember, and I could even understand being called Mike, or Mikey, but Mickey?? Do I look like a damn Disney mouse??

Laughing gayly, Vicky just waved off my deliberate mispronunciation of her name. As she began blathering blindly on about some stupid person on some stupid reality T.V. show, I tuned her out. The guy who used to sit in front of her had moved, and by default, I was all she had to talk to at the moment. Hers was the last seat at the window row, and only Maria and I were close enough for her to interact with currently.

Yay me! I think I'm going to barf!

Never before have I ever been so happy when Mr. Thompson finally came into the room and called for silence. I was even happier when he called Vicky up to the front of the class to handle things as the class representative!

"Okay now, settle down, guys." Waving her hands lightly, Vicky tried to take control of the class. With her looks, and the skimpy little cheerleader's outfit which she always wore – all cheerleaders were required to wear their uniforms every day to show school spirit, just as all the jocks were required to wear their sport's jacket– it didn't take her long to gather all eyes and ears on her.

"We'll be gathering into groups of less than ten today," Vicky started to explain,"and then we'll board the busses and head to Mystic Caverns National Park. Stay with your teams and we'll meet up with a park Ranger there, and then be led on a tour of the Caverns. Lunch is…" She droned on and on, but I tuned her out at that point and let my imagination run rampant over her body.

Nice curves, long legs, firm hips, tight and perky breasts. Dressed in your stereotypical cheerleader miniskirt and half top — Vicki was one of those girls that every male at school imagined ravishing, including me. Even if I'm just a nobody, I'm still a male nobody. By the time she'd finished talking, I'd fallen deeply into the pits of my own teen delusions and was sporting a raging bulge in my pants!

"Ready to go," Maria turned and asked me, as everyone else began to shuffle and clamor up from their seats.

"I can't," I whispered to her, my voice barely a creak.

Deliberately lowering her eyes down below my overly rotund belly, Maria half smiled sadly, half smirked mischievously at me. "I told you, if you'd just take advantage of me, you wouldn't have half these problems that you do," she whispered.

"I can't do that," I reminded her, shaking my head stubbornly from side to side. "You're my sister."

Sighing deeply, Maria shrugged her shoulders softly, and then stood up. "I guess it can't be helped then." Taking the few steps back to stand beside my chair, she held out her hands to help me up.

"Michael," she groaned load enough for everyone to hear, "take a look in my eye and see what's in it. I think a gnat or something flew and got trapped under the eyelid." Leaning forward, she held her left eyelid open and stuck her face close to mine, blocking the view of my embarrassing bulge from the rest of the classroom.

"Uhh…. Yeah. Just give me a moment," I stammered, reaching to rub her eye gently.

"Hurry it up you two," Vicky ordered us, as all the rest of the students filed out of the room. "I've got to lock up behind everyone."

"We're coming!" Seeing the last of the other students heading out the door, I waved nonchalantly towards Vicky. "I think Mr. Thompson is wanting to speak to you outside," I motioned.

"Oh! I didn't notice."

As Vicky turned her attention towards the exit, I quickly stood up. "Shoo! Shoo." Waving for Maria to lead the way, I followed closely behind her to hide the bulge in my pants with her body.

"No… I don't think he's out there," Vicky turned, looking puzzled as we quickly hurried past her.

"Sorry," I fake apologized, sticking close behind Maria; all the while praying that nobody would notice how big a pervert I really am.

The bus ride to the caverns was uneventful — almost enjoyable for me even! Like usual, Maria sat at the window seat, and I sat beside her to keep her safe from all the other jackasses in our class, while Vicky was forced to sit alone in the seat to our left.

Our school has a policy of, "Fill seats from the rear to the front, in order," while on a field trip. Since the three of us were the last out of the class and on the bus, we all got stuck up front together.

As annoying as I find her personality, I have to admit, Vicky has a nice body. Sitting leaned with her back against the window on the bus, Vicky relaxed, looking over some paperwork she took from a yellow folder. Showing all the lack of modesty of a cheerleader, she placed both feet flat up into her seat, using her bent knees to rest the folder and paperwork on. Even with her black spats on underneath the wavy golden miniskirt, my imagination was frantically wild at work, during the ride.

At least it was until Maria elbowed me hard in my flabby stomach! "Do you want another problem like you had in the classroom," she whispered at me?

I shook my head softly from side to side, rubbing my poor side where it was now throbbing. "Even if I'm a guy, I don't have a boner all the time," I whispered back to her, vehemently denying her accusation.

"So, I guess that was a mouse I noticed twitching behind your zipper," Maria snorted, derisively. "Just remember, you're in the aisle row now – you can't hide behind me like earlier."

"I know," I whispered back…

…and that's why the bus ride was almost enjoyable for me. For the rest of the trip to the Caverns, I spent my time alternating between peeking up Vicky's skirt and doing math problems poorly in my head.

"Okay guys, settle down." Arriving at the park, Vicky quickly closed her folder and stood to gather everyone's attention. Once again, I was amazed at how quickly she took control of the whole situation.

Mr. Thompson sat at the far rear of the bus – guarding the emergency exit from idiots, I guess, and watching over everyone silently from behind – but he wasn't trying to intervene or help Vicky in any manner. Our school sponsored "student led learning exercises", and this field trip was one of them. If Vicky did well here, it'd look very nice on her college application; but if she screwed up, it could become a serious black mark on her future endeavors. I don't know how she can handle all the pressure – I certainly couldn't!

"…and gather with your group once you're off the bus and wait for your team's guide to show up." Vicky was finishing up. Once again, I really hadn't been paying any attention to her. Which damn group am I supposed to be in, anyway? I don't have a clue.

"And with that, let's go!" Vicky half cheered – a bad habit of hers as a captain of one of the cheerleading squads – and then pulled back on the lever opening the bus doors with a hydraulic hiss. "Let's go!" Motioning wildly for everyone to follow, she energetically bounced down the steps and stood off to the side of the bus.

Sighing lethargically, I stretched once and then slowly waddled my way up and wobbled down the steps after her. After all, we had to "maintain the order", and our school policy was "last on, first off" – which actually worked out quite well for me. All I had to do is find an empty spot in the parking lot and just mill in one place like an idiot. I didn't need to go find my team. They'll come find me.
