Chapter 50: Kicked the Iron Plate

Chen Feng took the two girls out of the hospital, making their way to the night market just outside.

The night market was bustling, the aroma of barbecued food wafting down the entire street, tantalizing the taste buds.

"How about we grab some barbecue and have a few drinks? Any objections?"

Chen Feng suggested.

"I can't, I still have to go back to work." Tang Xue grinned wryly.

"Don't go back to work tonight, I'll take you home after we're done eating." said Chen Feng.

"But…"

"Don't 'but'. Call that, what's his name, the director's son Yang Chao, I'll speak with him."

"Alright then."

Reluctantly, Tang Xue dialed Yang Chao's number and handed the phone to Chen Feng.

Once the call connected, Yang Chao's voice could be heard on the other end: "Tang Xue, you… you have something for me?"

"It's not her, it's me." Chen Feng spoke up.

"Holy shit, bro, it's you! I didn't harass Tang Xue recently, I swear."
