"I thought you were going to pay using your money." Edwin's eyes widened when he saw what Terrence was doing.

Terrence glanced at Edwin. "That's a lie. I just want you to spend something. This should be compensation for what happened to you." he uttered.

The main purpose why he asked for William's card earlier was because he was thinking of Edwin.

"B-But…"

Terrence tilted his head to the side.

"Swipe it." He instructed the cashier.

The cashier, who was dumbfounded as she saw the black card, nodded quickly. She immediately took it and swiped the card to pay for the total bill.

Her hands were slightly shaking. She did now know that the man in front of her was such a big shot. If only she knew it, she thought that she should have been more respectful enough.
