Seated on the opposite couch, jealousy burned in Aiden's eyes as he watched Evelyn and Archie, his regret a constant reminder of what he had lost. His possessiveness towards Evelyn and their children is evident, yet he feels disheartened knowing he can't do anything to the man who now shares Evelyn's life. Helplessly, he can only stare, consumed by regret and longing. In a dark room, fill with dust, a couple on the ground tied up by a rope. "Baby girl, why don't our kids call me dad?" Aiden says frustratingly. "You think you can come back into our lives and pick up where we left off? You forfeited that right when you destroyed my world." "I know I can never undo the past, baby. But I love you. I want to be a father to our children, if you'll let me." "Darling, you're late. Someone else already filled that role," Evelyn replies coolly, attempting to free herself from the ropes binding her. "I'll kill that bastard!" Aiden's anger surges as he struggles to untangle Evelyn's ropes with his own bound hands, his desperation evident. "I dare you," Evelyn warns, her tone steely. "But baby, I—" Aiden's plea is cut off by Evelyn's blunt response. "Being my one-night stand should be enough for you," Evelyn states matter-of-factly, showing no concern for his feelings. "I am your husband," Aiden insists. "You should dream as big as I allow you to dream," Evelyn shoots back without hesitation. "Am I not even allowed to dream of you now?" "The blood on your hands can never be washed away, Aiden. The night you took my family from me, you also killed the part of me that can ever love you." "Am I of no use to you now?" Aiden proposes, regardless of their precarious situation. "You still have a purpose, darling," Evelyn replies with a playful smile. "You still have to meet your end at my hands today." Soon her hand gets freed. Evelyn looks at Aiden, who is also smiling at her. "Ready to die, darling?" Evelyn asks.

Break fail 3

His eyes flickered as he looked to his side. His eyes widened a little when he noticed the driver of the other car. It was a girl.

His hold on the steering loosened a lot when he saw her hand signs. Sighing with hope, he informed the others, "It's alright. They're not our enemy."

"What?" Harris almost jumped with happiness.

Both the driver and Harris looked at the car next to them. At first, they only noticed a girl driving that car at a super-fast speed like them. They both were shocked to their core, seeing a girl driving a car at such speed. Even Harris himself couldn't trust himself with such speed, whereas a girl doing such a thing stunned and scared them for her too. Harris suddenly noticed the signs exchanged between Aiden and that girl.

"What is she saying?" Harris asked concernedly.

"She's helping us."

"Huh?"

"Who is she?" Harris asked confusedly.

"Wear your seatbelts. Make sure to hold on to something," Aiden didn't reply to extra questions and asked them to protect themselves first.

Both men immediately did what was asked. "What the hell! Why is she overtaking us?" Harris almost shouted as he spoke.

She drove her car forward. Extending her hand out of the window, she signed Aiden to use the handbrake as they had planned.

Aiden took her indication. Holding the steering, he started removing his foot from the accelerator.

Because of the car in front, Aiden didn't have to worry about the traffic. The girl was handling it perfectly. All he had to do was use the handbrake and rely on her to keep his car from sliding away. She matched his speed at first, then began slowing down gradually. Aiden's car bumped into hers repeatedly. Initially, the bumps were minor, but as they used the handbrake more, the car became harder to control.

Whenever Harris thought their car would slip or flip, the girl's car would bump their other side, bringing them back into the lane and keeping them balanced. Harris couldn't describe how fast his heart was racing. At one point, he almost thought he would die, but each time, that car helped them again. What stunned him the most was how Aiden seemed to anticipate the girl's actions. Every time he used the brake, he trusted that she would know what to do next. It was unbelievable how synchronized they were without any communication.

After more bumps and slides, their car finally started to lose speed. After a couple of minutes, it came to a stop. Aiden looked around the car. Those earlier bumps had been strong. If their car hadn't been in the back and if they hadn't been holding on to something, it could have been very dangerous.

Once he confirmed everyone was okay, Aiden stepped out of the car to check on the girl. To his surprise, she emerged as he approached. She was standing in darkness which obscured her face completely. Although he could see she was wearing a short white dress and long brown boots. He hadn't expected someone like her to come out of that dangerous car. She carried a sling bag around her wrist. Despite everything that had happened, her posture was calm and composed.

Before he could speak, the girl asked first, "Are you alright?"

"Yeah," Aiden replied automatically.

He suddenly felt a pang of guilt. Earlier, he hadn't considered that the person helping them was a girl. The one taking the strongest blows was a girl. The one most likely to get hurt more than them was a girl. To save them from sliding and flipping, she had repeatedly bumped her car into theirs.

He couldn't imagine how many times she might have knocked her head against the windshield or seat. He felt guilty for making her suffer. He could have handled the situation too, but getting out of that car without any injuries or in one piece would have been tough or even impossible. Yet, the girl had made it possible.

Before he could say anything, Harris and the driver came out of the car too. "You… You're bleeding!" Harris exclaimed, pointing at the girl.
