Chapter 31 Unexpectedly Beautiful

Jefferson hugged Selena with one arm and allowed her to lie in his embrace.

Selena felt that it was very warm, unconsciously shifting closer to the source, and the distance between two lonely bodies was getting close in the middle of the night.

Ever since he was seventeen years old, Jefferson always had trouble sleeping.

Insomnia was a common occurrence for him. He had seen many doctors and took plenty of medicine, but it simply could not be cured. He could not fall asleep unless he put a pistol under his pillow.

Even if he did manage to fall asleep, he would only have a light sleep.

However, by Selena's side, the heavy curtains seemed to have made him lose track of time and place.

When Jefferson woke up, he saw Selena sleeping soundly beside him. He looked at her lips moving as she breathed, feeling that this scene was very harmonious.
