Honeymoon!

After Chen Mu and Susu's wedding came to an end, they took their luggage and headed for Zhi Hei's private jet. After a whole day of walking, talking, crying and doing many other tasks; the couple could finally rest.

Once the couple entered their private space, Chen Mu made Susu lay down on the bed. Susu blushed when she got pushed down. "What are you doing?" She asked while trying to hold in her smile.

"Doing what a husband should do to his new wife." His lips covered hers in the next minute before she could ask what he was planning to do. She didn't want to have their first time in five years on the jet! Too embarrassing!

The kiss didn't last as long as she had expected. When their lips parted, their breathing were still as calm as the waves in the ocean. Seeing the way, she was blinking innocently at him; he gave her nose a tiny pinch.

Sitting up, he helped her remove her sneakers where blisters and irritated redness could be seen. Earlier, he had noticed how she forced herself to walk around in high heels. For someone who doesn't normally wear heels, it would be extremely painful to adapt to such height. He had tried his best to stay on her weaker balanced side and hug her as they walked around to chat with guests.

Still, it didn't help her feet from getting scrapes and irritation. After removing her socks, he could see her rosy tinted toes and small cuts on the back of her feet. Blowing gently on the small injuries, he asked, "Does it hurt?"

She sat up and looked at her feet. "This? No. Not really. I got used to it."

"You should have taken a seat if you couldn't walk anymore. You're the bride today. I wanted you to be comfortable, not forcing yourself to please other people. Even if those guests are my relatives, I'd rather have you free from pain."

"But they are still our guests..." She mumbled.

"And you are my bride; my wife. You're more important than those manners and rules."

He frowned at the sight of her broken skin. "Sit still. I'm getting the ointment from my luggage." Adjusting her leg posture on the bed, he rummaged through his clothes and took out the ointment he prepared.

Taking the medical kit he found in the small cabinet, he took out alcohol pads and cotton swabs. With her legs straightened on his lap, he gently sanitized her wounds first before applying the cream on it. When she flinched and hissed, he would blow onto the area and make the application process much gentler.

After everything was done, her feet had many Band-Aids to it that she shook her head. "Such a waste of Band-Aids. It'll recover soon."

"Who was it that made hissing sounds just now? Do you know how infections come to be? It's when wounds are carelessly treated and bacteria enters from that small, tiny cut." Chen Mu continued giving her lectures as she laid on the bed with her legs on his lap.

"We're on our way to our honeymoon. Are you sure you want to lecture me on that? Hmmm?" She gave him a hinting smile before taking the pillow into her arms.

He sighed helplessly against his wife's comeback. "Are your legs tired from walking around all day?"

"Mmmm.. a little sore. Still okay, though!" After she responded, she felt a pair of warm hands rubbing against her calves. Lifting her head to take a peek, she realized he was massaging her with an obvious smile on his face.

"Ahhh, so these are the perks of getting married to you~" She laughed softly.

"Aren't you glad you made me your husband today?" His fingers purposely teased her ticklish spots and earned satisfying laughs from her.

"Ahhh! Hahahehehehee. S..S.. Stopp... I.. I surrender! Yes, yes. I'm very happy to have claimed you as my husband. Now, the girls out there will have one less man to worry about. Hhahahahahaa, they couldn't have you even if they tried." While recovering her breaths from laughing, she blew her hair out of her face. Her arms were occupied with the pillow in her embrace.

Gently placing his wife's legs back on the bed, he decided to lean on his elbow as he watched his wife giggle sillily. With his body leaning on the side, he saw her disheveled hair blowing up into the air and falling back down on her face. Still, this silly woman continued giggling without any plans on using her hands to fix her hair.

Reaching out, his fingers brushed against her apricot cheeks. Strands of her hair were scattered away from her face. The sounds of her giggle faded over time and the room turned quiet. The couple stared at each other for a long time.

Without speaking a word, they gazed deeply in each other's eyes. Sometimes, their lips would curve to a small smile and other times wide enough to show their healthy teeth. From the beginning till this moment, the journey had been rough and long. Facing numerous obstacles, they never gave up on one another.

Gently caressing her cheeks with his thumb, he whispered. "I love you so much, wife."

"I love you too. Hubby." Her eyes swelled as memories of their many first times floated in her head. They're finally together as husband and wife.

From now and until the day of their last breath, they'll continue holding and loving each other.

After a few hours later, they arrived at their destination. Upon getting off the jet, the manager of the resort came to pick them up. On their way to the resort, the manager answered many inquiries about the island and brought the couple on a small tour. Since Susu loved being around nature, this island was perfect for her to explore.

Along the way, she found many interesting and beautiful places she would love to take visit. Every few minutes, she would spot something and point towards it for Chen mu to see. Seeing how much she loved this place; he could finally feel relieved about his worries.

The manager handed the couple their room keys and lead them to their room.

"This is your room. I hope you have a wonderful stay. Let me know if you have any requests for room changes or other services you may need." He politely bowed and walked away; leaving the couple to themselves.

The moment they pulled open the door after scanning the key card, their faces turned red. Covering their lips and secretly stealing glances at one another, they stepped into their honeymoon suite.
