"Eri calm down ok, I know you feel horrible right now but those people need you and I believe that you can be a better hero than I was."

A weak voice followed by a weaker hand stretched out in front of her. The man she looked up to for the last 30 years and the man who always tried his best with a smile, is dying. Right in front of her he slowly bled out from his upper body as his lower half had been completely eradicated. Deku the symbol of Earths peace and founder of the One for All hero agency fell at the schemes of another planets champion.

"Please Izuku please just hold on PD will be here soon you just need to hold on and everything will be alright so don't give up!" She knew that usually that would be the case but nobody else knew they were here or that they'd even left. The plot ran too deep and had been in motion since long ago, even she only came because she overheard his conversation.

"Eri you are such a kind girl but please wipe off your tears and buckle up ok, I know the burden is big but it's up to you to protect us now-*cough*" mid sentence he spat up blood and zoned out, forcing himself to continue he wiped his mouth and smiled. Looking into her eyes filled with sadness and concern he felt warm inside. "Please don't make the same mistakes I did and tell everyone I said goodbye, but I'm not sorry. I'd do this over and over again if it meant saving you guys."

She slumped onto him and bawled into his shoulder. He gently brushed her silver hair and pecked her forehead in response with watery eyes. Over the last few decades he'd come to think of her as a daughter and was sad to leave her, even sadder to do it in front of her eyes. As he felt his vision getting blurred he loosened his grip and let his hand fall. As the last specs of light faded he saw her horn expand like never before as she let out a soulshaking scream. A lone tear fell from his eye as he slumped into the darkness.

"I am, I AMMM, just help."

"Ok, ok on the count of three ok, 1, 2, 3 PUSHHHH"

"GAAAAAAAAAAHHH"

"looks like we have ourselves a cute baby boy here ma'am- aaah WHAT'S HAPPENING!." Just as the nurse held the child to her chest his skin changed colors and matched he white uniform however as a professional she didn't panic but was just slightly shocked.

"What do you mean, What s wrong with my child." The green haired woman protectively shouted the moment the nurse finished her sentence.

"Oh no, sorry ma'am it just seems he's already awakened his quirk so I was slightly shocked is all."

"Awakened his quirk what do you mean?" The nurse walked to her side and rested the now clean child onto her lap, he again changed colors from white to blue with green polka dots in accordance with the blanket sheets. looking at her child she was silent for a while before passing out.

Years later-

In a world full of quirks it makes sense for weird things to happen, but even the everyday instances of life where shallow compared to what Inko Midoriya had been going through. for the first 3 years of his life her son seemed like he was always zoning out before disappearing, and when she found him he would be in some kind of danger. on the bright side her physical condition had never been better, and she spent so much time using her powers to catch him she could lift up to a ton with her physcic force, but she was so alert now a days she considered being a hero, Very stressful for a housewife. It almost seemed as if her son was training her every day, but thats impossible. After sending him to school she had more time to herself but didn't have much to do because of her powers, and so she spent her time picking up hobbies such as going to the gym or taking mixed martial arts lessons, eventually she became a pretty well known hero named Zatana, she wore a magician outfit and often helped move debris from disaster zones and the like. Just to fill up the empty space in her free schedule.

On his occasional drops at home her husband Hisashi noticed her efforts and thought she was doing such things for him. One day at dinner he teared up thinking of how good of a wife she is and how after working abroad for months at a time he came home to the perfect house with amazing food and a beautiful wife and happy child. It encouraged him to restart his workout training and reignited their passion leading to Inko becoming pregnant again only two years after Midoriya was born. After his home life became happier He performed at 200% every time he went back to work and gained consecutive promotions and improving the social lifestyle of his family.

Every time a change like this happened her son Midoriya would have a contemplative look before mouthing rapidly in silence. He would often be seen taking care of his younger sister Yanagi Midoriya and playing with her face until she either giggled or cried. As he grew up he found out more about his quirk and the learned that it was not a camoflouge quirk similar to what they though, but a quirk mutation that had him "evolve" or "adapt" to suite the situation. They found out once when he was sitting in the tub and the water went too high yet the little kid grew gills! on different occasions such as it being to hot and his body cooling down and vice versa, the most surprising was when he touched an loose electric cable and the shock went straight through his body and only sticking his hair up. Many similar such occasions happened which led to Inko constantly being on gaurd.

Another particular thing about her son was that he was obsessed with All Might, however she figured most boys growing up would be fans of him, so she didn't mind about his All Might customized room. As he grew up she became less worried about him due to his calm and mature demeaner but she always doted on him because she attributed her happy life to his youthful troublemaking. But thinking seriously her son was a complete genius in all regards, she's just glad he wanted to be a hero because she felt that if he wanted to be a villain nobody could stop him.

One day when on his way home Midoriya seemed to resolve himself of some thing and closed in on a familiar underpass. he checked the time on his watch and waited a few minutes before walking ahead. Almost on que dark sludge poured from a nearby drain and formed a revolting blob with red eyes and sharp teeth. It muttered something about not expecting someone and then swiftly closed in on him. He let it happened but struggled "fiercely" to which it responded.

"Don't worry. I'm just hijacking your body. Calm down, It'll only hurt for about 45 seconds... then it'll be all over."
