1 CHAPTER 1: Told you
This summer is supposed to be awesome but my mother decided that we would go to California for this vacation. I'm finished with school and I graduated 2 months ago. Anyway, now I am sitting with my mom and older brother at the airport. Our flight is 217 and it gets in at 5:15 in the afternoon. My brother sits there on his phone playing his game.
I turn to my mom "This is boring, is it alright if I take a walk around the cafe area?"
She smiles "Go ahead sweetie"
I get up and go to the cafe to order a iced tea and the lady takes the money and hands me the tea. I sit down on a small chair at an empty table.
"Is this seat taken?" a male voice asks me
I look up and meet the eyes of a boy with a slender build and has brown eyes and tanned skin with a smug look on his face.
"No, nobody is sitting there" I blush
He takes a seat across from me "Where are you heading?"
I look up from my drink a bit startled that he's asking.
"San Francisco" I say
"I'm going there also such a coincidence đ" he laughs
I finish my drink and look at the time and see it's 5:00 so I head over to mom and brother. We enter the plane and I look at my mom once and see that we have different seats. I take a seat at number 14 and then I take out my book I have been reading for 3 days. Then someone takes a seat next to me and I keep my head down.
"Long time stranger" that voice of that guy says again
I smile to myself and he sees this.
"What are you reading?" he asks
"Deadly Little Lessons by Laurie Faria Stolarz" I say
"Never heard of it, what's it about?" he asks
"It's about a girl named Camelia and in this book of the series she finds out that her mom is not her mom and her dad is not her dad and meanwhile she is having premonitions of a girl's voice crying and hiccuping. So she goes to a college and at the end I am at now she is saving the girl named Sarah or something and Ben is breaking a lock on the padlock of the burning house." I explain the whole book.
He nods "And who is Ben?"
"That's the boy who saved her in the first book and he had premonitions if her ex kidnapping her but he saved her at a trailer park" I sum up the story as best as I can.
"Does the series have a name?"
I nod "It's called the 'Touch' series"
He winks "You must be really happy to have your hands on it then if your so into this TOUCH series." he winks again and I cringe.
I eventually fall asleep đ´.
