Andrew entered the morgue and saw the three women pulling someone back from embracing the body bag. He would have been touched at the scene and his heart would have gone out to the woman as he could sense she truly had deep affection for the deceased when he heard her sobbing while standing near the corridor. But when he saw they were holding Megan back, he was consumed by jealousy. He could have turned into the Incredible Hulk with a darker shade of green.
“We are so sorry, Mrs. Tong.” The doctor tried to explain to Megan while the nurse pushed the gurney towards the approaching staff.
“Mrs. Tong?” Andrew repeated as if the titled sounded offensive. He didn’t know it, but his statement made a deep cut into Megan’s heart. “You’re married to this guy?”
