The next day, Ava and Oliver were still sleeping peacefully in each other's arms, when Ava's cell phone started to ring. Ava reached out and fumbled to take the phone from the bedside table.

Oliver was also a little annoyed to wake up so early because of the phone ring, he held Ava tightly in his arm. He wouldn't let her take the call no matter who was calling to disturb their sleep.

"Let it ring, don't pick up," Oliver said groggily.

However, the phone kept ringing, whoever was calling just wouldn't give up, so left with no choice Ava rubbed her eyes and sat up on the bed to check who was calling. It was a call from the hospital and the Dean called her himself, so Ava knew this must be something very important.

Ava answered the phone immediately, "Hello, Dean Davis?"

"Doctor Green, I am really sorry to call you so early in the morning. How are you feeling now?"

"I am much better now. Thank you, sir."

"Doctor Green, I have a situation here. I wouldn't have called you if it wasn't this important. Last night, Director Brown had a stroke and now he is in the hospital emergency. Do you think you could come back to work today?" Dean Davis was also in a dilemma. Oliver asked for 1 week's leave on behalf of Ava, so he really didn't want to disturb Ava but the situation was out of his control.

"What? OK, Dean Davis, I'll join back today." Ava hung up. Although she didn't like Director Brown but she still hoped that he could get through the difficulty.

"Oliver." Ava shook Oliver, who was sleeping beside her.

"Hmm?" Oliver said sleepily.

"Dean Davis called just now, our head of Cardiology Director Brown had a stroke last night. I have to go back to work today." Ava lay down again on Oliver's arm.

Oliver stretched out and embraced her. "Do you like being a doctor so much?"

"Well, it feels good to be able to save someone's life. Every time I have a successful operation and my patients are safe I feel like I was able to return a life." Ava said quietly.

"That sounds good." Oliver agreed.

Ava touched the pendant in her neck, she felt very warm and happy in Oliver's arm. They both looked at each other and smiled sweetly in understanding.

Although Oliver was eager to keep Ava by his side all the time, but he knew that will make her unhappy, and most importantly he didn't want Ava to get sick of him so he let her do what she wanted.

After freshened up Ava and Oliver came downstairs. Mrs. Lee had prepared a classic Chinese breakfast this morning. Soymilk sticks, steamed buns, tea, eggs. Ava looked at the delicious food on the table and suddenly felt very hungry.

"Wow, Mrs. Lee is amazing. I haven't eaten this kind of breakfast for a long time." Ava pulled Oliver's arm toward the dining table.

"I know you haven't eaten them for a long time, that's why I asked Mrs. Lee to prepare them for you," Oliver said squeezing Ava's nose sweetly, his eyes were full of dotting smiles.

"What? You asked her to make all this? How did you know I like them?" Ava was a bit surprised.

"Well, it's not hard to know."

Ava's heart felt very moved. She smiled at him showing her cute dimples. They sat down on the dining table and out of habit Oliver picked up a newspaper. He used to eat breakfast alone and always felt it was boring so he developed a habit of reading newspapers while eating.

Ava casually picked up a City morning paper. On the cover page, there was news about the proposal display at the KNIGHT International's LED screen. The title was 'Be my girlfriend.' When she read it, her mind flew back to the previous night and she grinned unconsciously.

"What are you laughing at?" Oliver asked casually, but he already knew why she was smiling. Today, almost all the newspapers had the same headlines 'Last night's confessions at the KNIGHT international LED screen.' No one knew who was the mysterious confessor, but most people wanted to know who was the lucky woman.

"Nothing," Ava said stupidly, still smiling.

"I'll take you to the hospital." Oliver looked at Ava's smiling face and thought, Ava suddenly broke into his boring life and made it colorful. Until she came he didn't know how much he needed her. She made his life beautiful with her presence just like the moon enhances the beauty of the night sky and makes it complete. He also feels complete now.

"OK," Ava said happily. In the past, she was always afraid that someone would see them together but now that they were official she was not afraid anymore.

The early morning was beautiful, the sunlight was warm and there was the fragrance of flowers in the light wind. It was very refreshing like the two people's relationship at that moment.

Today for the first time Oliver and Ava talked about their student life and Ava found out that Oliver studied science and technology in the USA. He had been involved unofficially with the business since he was still a student. Ava suddenly felt sorry for him because at such young age he had to take the heavy burden of the company! She also admired him thinking how capable he was to be able to manage the business from that age.

After knowing so much about Oliver, Ava felt very motivated to do her job even better and become an excellent doctor. She felt there was a great status gap between them and she could only overcome that by becoming the best at what she did.

"You have been working really hard, I really admire you. In fact, my parents also wanted me to quit my job at the hospital and take over my own company." Ava's bright face was full of uncertainty.

Over the years, she was reluctant to take over the company for two reasons. First, she was really not interested in the company's business. She felt one should choose a career they had an interest in. Second, it was because her best friend, Ava was determined to save as many lives as she could so that no one would die as her friend did.

"Leave the mall business to us. There are too many collisions in the mall which are not suitable for you." Oliver's eyes showed an unspeakable love in them for Ava when he said that.

He thought she didn't need to work that hard, just like his mother. In those days when Ella was married to Conner, He didn't let her work. Everyone envies her life, thinking staying home and not working was the best life. However, Ella didn't like being idle and got herself busy with many charity works. In her free time, she would accompany Conner to the company. Oliver wanted the same kind of life as his parents with Ava.

Oliver always admired his parent's love and relationship. Even after all this year's their love for each other hasn't lessened to any extent. It sometimes makes people feel very envious to be around them. That's one of the reasons Oliver moved out of the mansion, he thought his parents needed privacy. Whenever His parents showed off their love in front of him, Oliver would feel helpless and jealous but now he had Ava to show off their love too. He felt very happy at that thought.
