On Wednesday evening, Oliver and Orion were waiting for Ava at home but she never showed up. Orion was looking at the door restlessly waiting for her. Since the day Ava started teaching him Piano, he felt very close to her, he has been looking forward to the piano classes every Wednesday. By the time it was 6 o'clock Orion felt a bit upset so he asked Oliver, "Dad, why hasn't Miss Mackie shown up yet? Is she not coming today?"

Oliver was also seating there with a dark face, he was also annoyed because of Ava's lack of responsibility, and he was wondering whether she was going to come or not. However, he smiled at Orion and said in a soft voice to comfort him, "Don't worry, Orion. Miss Mackie surely will come, she must be stuck in the traffic jam."

"Dad, why don't you call Miss Mackie and ask her where she is right now," Orion asked looking expectantly at his father.

"Alright, I'll call her now, you go ahead and practice until she gets here." Oliver took out his phone and already dialed Ava's number. Her phone rang a few times before she finally picked it up, "Hello, CEO Knights! How can I help you?"

"It's Wednesday, Why aren't you here yet? Orion is waiting for you, come quickly." Oliver said coldly and hung up without giving her any chance to reply.

Ava cursed herself inwardly, she has been so busy lately, she completely forgot it was Wednesday and she has to go to Oliver's place. Ava quickly got up from the sofa and picked up her keys from the holder.

Daniel saw her taking out her car keys he asked confused, "Ava, are you going somewhere? Aren't you going to have dinner?"

"Sorry Danny, I can't. I have a piano student and I am late for that. See you later." Ava answered and walked toward the front yard.

Daniel stared at the receding back of the woman confused and wondered when did she take a student? Didn't she say she wouldn't take any private students? However he didn't think much of it, he believed Ava must have found some exceptional talent that's why she took the student.

Oliver hung up the phone and went to Orion then said, "Miss Mackie will be here any minute. It's dinner time, go ahead and get ready for dinner. You can have your piano lessons after dinner."

Orion obeyed his father and went to the washroom to get freshen up while Oliver ordered Mrs. Lee to fix the dinner table. He already mentioned to her that Ava will be having dinner with them. So Mrs. Lee prepared all of Ava's favorite dishes.

By the time Ava reached Oliver's Villa, it was half past six. She rushed into the villa and ring the bell.

Mrs. Lee opened the door almost immediately and said with a smile, "Madam come in, Mr. Knight and Master Orion are waiting for you at the dining table."

Ava was a little surprised and embarrassed, "They are waiting for me? Why didn't they have dinner yet?" Saying that Ava walked toward the dining hall, she was familiar with the villa after all. As soon as Ava entered she saw Oliver and Orion were seating at the table but as Mrs. Lee said they were not having dinner instead they were waiting for her. She was even more flustered. She quickly looked at Orion and said apologetically, "I am sorry Orion, I got stuck in some important work so I couldn't come on time."

Orion got up and came to Ava holding her hand he said with a sweet smile, "It's ok Miss Mackie but it's dinner time so please have dinner with us."

Ava stared at the little hands that were holding her and suddenly had a delusion that her son was calling her for dinner. Her eyes started to get wet.

Seeing Ava staring at Orion with sadness in her eyes, Oliver instantly knew what was going on in her head. He quickly said, "Sit down and have dinner."

Ava blinked the tears back and said with a smile still looking at Orion, "Of course Orion, let's have dinner. Seat down and I'll wash my hands first." Ava came back within a minute and saw the father-son smiling and whispering something to each other. When they saw her coming they instantly shut their mouth. Which made Ava a bit confused so she asked with a smile, "What are you two whispering about?" Ava didn't even realize how naturally they have been talking and acting around each other as if they were a family.

Orion laughed clamping his mouth and said, "It's a secret, I can't tell you."

Ava smiled but didn't inquire anymore. The more she gets to know Orion the more she felt that he was Oliver's own child. However, it was a relief that the child was not like what she thought, the first time she met him. He may come off a bit rude back then but he was a modest child not arrogant like his father at all. Ava also understood Orion's rudeness or lack of discipline was more because he was growing up without a mother, however, she still felt like Oliver was educating his child very well.

Oliver started to place food on Ava and Orion's plate so naturally, as if he has been doing it for years. Ava noticed all the food at the table was her favorite, she wondered if Oliver specifically asked Mrs. Lee to prepare what she liked. But she didn't ask anything, she quietly ate and exchanged a few words with Orion from time to time.

Oliver observed Ava and Orion's interaction without interrupting them and smiled thinking, after all, blood was thicker, no matter how much Ava hated him she couldn't help but fall in love with her own son. At that moment he wanted to tell her who Orion was but he knew it was not time yet so, in the end, he kept his thought to himself and really enjoyed the dinner, after a very long time because Ava was there. Although she was not back yet still he felt finally his family was complete.
