Change of Face

Ava suddenly started to laugh out loud at her sorrowful fate, after getting deceived by Jacob dreadfully she had fallen into Oliver's hand. Why she was so stupid to keep falling for the wrong people?

"Why are you standing there alone and giggling?" Suddenly a familiar voice made Ava stop laughing.

Ava raised her head and saw a handsome man with a gentle smile looking at her.

"Mr. Jones, what are you doing here?" Ava asked surprised.

"I came here to meet a client. I happen to see a silly girl standing here and laughing like a fool so I decided to check it out and it turns out, it was our Dr. Green." Liam said with a funny face. Liam had a cheerful personality that makes people feel comfortable around him.

However, for some reason, Ava always felt alert around him. "Oh! You think I am a fool?" Ava asked.

When Liam first met Ava he thought, she was a soft submissive type and dumb kind of girl with a pretty face but after meeting her a few times Liam found out that Ava was not only beautiful and smart but also a very interesting person.

"Well, isn't it foolish to laugh alone?" Liam came closer to her and pretended to be helpless.

"No, It's not," Ava said calmly even though she was embarrassed. She didn't care about what Liam thought of her. For some reason, he always found her when she was in a mess.

"Oh really?" Liam came closer and whispered in Ava's ear.

The action looked so intimate that Ava felt uncomfortable and immediately pushed him away and took a step back.

"Are you afraid of me, or are you afraid that Oliver would find out?" Liam's shrewd eyes flashed a strange smile but his handsome face was still soft.

What! How did Liam know about her and Oliver?

Ava almost panicked at his question however she tried to remain calm and said, "I don't know what you're talking about."

"Stop pretending Dr. Green. I know everything about Oliver, who he is dating who he is living with including who he used to love." Liam said with a cunning smile.

"Mr. Jones you are really good at making fun of people. I have nothing to do with Mr. Knight." Ava's heart was trembling in fear and her face began to turn white.

"You don't think anyone knows that you live with him at 520 Haibin road?" Liam said in a sarcastic tone.

"I am his personal doctor that's why I went to his house." Ava thought as long as she and Oliver didn't admit it, no one would know about their relationship.

"Is that so? Then you must be really good at your job because you get to spend the night in his master bedroom every night." Liam said with a sneer and his handsome face suddenly become fierce.

Ava's eyes widened at the sudden change in his face, she could tell he was insulting her. She smiled and said, "Mr. Jones you should not talk nonsense without any proof. By the way, I have to go. " Saying that Ava turned to leave.

"You know what? He will never fall in love with you." Liam said cruelly and his eyes were very calm.

"Mr. Jones I really find it very difficult to communicate with you, from now on let's just pretend we don't know each other," Ava said coldly.

She knew that Oliver would not fall in love with her, but the word 'Never' still pierced her heart, she felt very hurt.

"Dr. Green, you can only run but you cannot hide. Have a meal with me maybe I can help you." Liam's eyes were still cold.

"You stay away from me." Ava glared at Liam. There was a trace of vigilance in her beautiful eyes.

"What are you afraid of, you think I will eat you alive?" Liam suddenly changed his face and gave her a playful smile.

"No. I just don't like you and don't want anything to do with you." Ava was not blind she could see that Liam was no better than Oliver, it's probably wise to stay away from him.

"I know because I told you the truth that you didn't want to hear. You would probably be happy if I lied to you."

Ava decided to ignore him and started to walk away, however, Liam suddenly pulled her right wrist and took her into his arm. Ava was stunned and started to struggle to break free but how could she fight a strong man.

"What are you doing, let go of me!" Ava said gnashing her teeth while struggling.

Smilingly, Liam said, "There is no point in shouting Dr. Green, no one will come to help you. People will only think that we are boyfriend girlfriend and having a fight!"

"Do you think others are as retarded as you?" Ava stared at Liam, but suddenly thought of something and stopped struggling.

This was a shopping mall, there was surveillance everywhere, besides everyone have cameras in their cell phone these days. If she made a scene and someone made a video of it and uploaded it on social media then Oliver will definitely find out and then he will kill her.
