No Bark, All Bite

Kaito gets involved in a fight that lands him in more trouble than he bargained for and encounters Alexsander who seems to take an interest in him, causing Kaito to question his intentions. ~This story doesn't take itself too seriously, just some good ol' VampireXWerewolf smut pairing~

Confrontation and Consequences

Kaito frowned, feeling a shiver run down his spine. He couldn't quite explain why, but he didn't like the way Alexsander was looking at him. It was almost as if he was sizing him up, and Kaito didn't like the thought of being a potential target.

"Thanks for the concern," Kaito said, trying to sound grateful. "But I really need to get to my next class."

"Of course," Alexsander said with a nod. "I'll see you around, Mr. Nakamura."

As Kaito walked away, he couldn't help but glance back over his shoulder. Alexsander was still standing there, watching him with an intensity that made Kaito feel uneasy.

What was going on here? Was Alexsander really just concerned about his well-being, or was there something more going on?

Kaito didn't know the answers, but he knew one thing for sure: he needed to be careful around this man. There was something about him that didn't feel quite right, and Kaito knew he couldn't let his guard down around him.

He went home after his morning classes only to find Saito waiting for him outside their door. She was dressed in casual clothing today, wearing baggy pants and a loose shirt. Her long black hair cascaded down her shoulders, and she wore glasses that hid most of her dark brown eyes but she clearly looked displeased.

Kaito had the urge to stop in his tracks and turn around but Saito had caught him first and dragged him back.

"Stop right now!" Saito yelled, rushing forward and grabbing hold of Kaito's collar.

Her grip was surprisingly strong, so much stronger than Kaito expected. "Sorry!" he yelped, struggling against her.

Saito ignored him, continuing to drag him along. "What were you doing last night?!" she demanded. Pointing at the used first aid kit some of the tools had been used.

Kaito stopped resisting and turned to look at the box, then struggled "Nothing.. much.. nothing special."

"Are you kidding me?! You're always getting hurt! What am I going to have to tell auntie while you are living here under my care!"

Saito shouted angrily. "It will not be good news for you when she finds out you've been causing all kinds of trouble again!"

Kaito tried to think of what to say that it wasn't him causing the trouble, but before he could speak Saito grabbed hold of his arm and pulled it towards her.

She pushed him into a nearby wall, forcing him to lean backwards.

"Why did you go out and fight yesterday?" Saito asked. "Didn't I ask you to behave!?"

She glared at Kaito, her expression cold and serious.

"No, you didn't," Kaito muttered, glancing downwards.

Saito shook her head. "Whatever happened, don't do anything like that ever again!" she warned, letting go of his arm and turning around.

"And its your turn to clean up already so just stay inside!!"

Saito stormed off without another word, leaving Kaito alone. He stared after her in shock for a few seconds until he realized how ridiculous that sounded. Of course she wouldn't listen to him...

Saito sighed as she closed the door behind her. Although the chances are slim she didn't want Kaito getting injured outside as much as possible.. if he ever encountered a vampire outside that took a fancy to his blood..

Not to mention Kaito isn't aware of his werewolf heritage but it can't be helped since he is only half he doesn't have abilities like she had he could live a relatively normal life.

However, she would prefer him staying inside where he won't cause any problems when he is not at university.

At least, that's what she hoped.

Cleaning up Kaito sighed and leaned his back against the wall, feeling a mix of frustration and guilt wash over him.

He knew he had messed up by going out and getting into a fight the previous night, but he couldn't help it. If someone starts something he had felt compelled to confront them, like an itch to fight. Some days it could be worse than others, he thought maybe he had some pent up energy but the more he thought about it his whole family has some aggression issues like they had to let off some steam.

Maybe he should take a walk outside and clear his mind,..No, no, Saito wanted him to stay inside..

His phone started ringing as soon as he thought about it. The call was from Kaito's mother.

It wasn't unusual for her to contact him every once in a while but no doubt Saito had already let her know about last night.

..''Hi Mom..''
