Ep 9: Musashi: The Samurai challenge

At police department, the police chief was in an interview with some news reporters.

News reporter: Chief! Do you know something about these incidents? Which involves ninjas?

Police chief: Listen, we're not confirming that those were real ninjas.

News reporter: But some people were able to see them. Their skills are authentic. Like those ancient Japanese warriors.

Police chief: I won't say anything else until the investigations are clear. Excuse me.

The police chief just leaves with the reporters demanding more answers.

Police chief: This is insane. (Taking a radio) Listen, each night go patrolling by chopper. Report anything you find!

At night, some choppers were flying as patrolling the city. They didn't noticed Ryu and his team were running too fast as evading the choppers. They were at a tall building.

Ryu: Damn! After the train kidnapping, now the security is strict!

Sakura: Be careful of not being seen by them!

Nozomi: Right!

Takeru: That means we should stop our training?

Ryu: Yeah, damn!

Sakura: Stop groaning and let's…

Sakura slipped at the corner of the building. Before falling, she grabbed Nozomi; and she grabbed Takeru; and finally he grabbed Ryu. All of them fell, but it's seen Ryu was holding from a corner with both hands as being pulled down by the weight of the rest.

Ryu: (As making effort) Ah! How could you be so negligent?

Sakura: Be a man! Don't let us go!

Takeru: How could we end like this?

They noticed the chopper was lighting close to them.

Takeru: They will see us!

Nozomi: No way!

Ryu: I can't resist all of you!

Nozomi: (Funny scared) Don't dare to fall! We're a team!

Ryu: Maybe if Takeru let me go, unless one of us will live.

Takeru: No way, dude!

Nozomi: (Funny angry) Don't more important than us!

Ryu: I can't hold on anymore… and we can't be seen… so…

Sakura: So?

Ryu: Each one uses your own skills to land safe!

Sakura and Nozomi: (Funny amazed) Wha.. wha.. what?

Ryu let himself go as everyone was falling from a great height.

Sakura and Nozomi: (Yelling) YOU IDIOT!

They fall so the chopper didn't see them. As all of them falling; Takeru used hands position and two clones appeared. They grabbed him to each side of the building to avoid falling.

Sakura and Nozomi used blades with chains and tied to parts of the building to fasten to it.

Sakura: We did it!

Nozomi: Nice, Sakura-sama!

But they saw how Ryu was keeping falling.

Sakura: (Worried) Ryu!

Ryu: Come on, think!

He used hands position but then he crashed very hard to the ground.

Sakura: (Worried) No!

Sakura, Nozomi and Takeru went to him.

Sakura: (Very worried) Ryu… (Realizing something) Eh?

They noticed that wasn't Ryu, it was a decoy like before.

Ryu's voice: Here I am!

They looked up. Ryu was landing with the help of his hawk Taka. He was holding with his hand to its legs.

Ryu: Thanks Taka.

Nozomi: You're so freaking skilled!

Sakura: How did you do that?

Takeru: Damn it! Not only used my skill in advanced mode, so you used two jutsus very fast!

Ryu: Right! First substitution and then summoning.

Sakura: Anyway, lets go home. We have school tomorrow.

Ryu: Right.

They didn't notice someone was in the shadows, observing and smiling.

Mysterious guy: So, in your school.

At next day, during physical education, Ryu was running in the school field.

Ryu: I have the feeling I'm being observed by someone.

He noticed someone but it moved away. He followed it. He was at the roof and saw someone who was taking pictures. That was Nozomi in her P.E. uniform.

Ryu: Nozomi!

Nozomi: Ah! You!

Ryu: What are you doing?

Ryu saw Nozomi was watching to a group of girls in P.E uniforms doing marathons.

Ryu: Isn't that?

He saw Sakura was running with other girls during physical session, including Mio.

Nozomi: Ah! No! I don't want to miss my lady as exercising herself! (Taking a picture with her camera) Beautiful!

Ryu: So you admire Sakura a lot.

Nozomi: Why not? My lady is beautitul, I want to keep her pictures mostly!

Ryu: You seems a stalker. (Realizing something) What was…?

Nozomi: What's wrong?

Ryu: There's someone there. We must go to investigate!

Nozomi: Wait! The students are walking everywhere. We can't use our skill, remember?

Ryu: Yeah but, if he's from Shimomura clan?

They went to the school girls, one of them was watering the field grass. They were exercising with Sakura.

Ryu: Sakura!

Sakura: Ryu? And Nozomi?

Mio: Hasashi-san?

Ryu: (Realizing something) Watch out!

Ryu moved and pushed away a school girl who let the hose as water is out of control. Something was launched to them but Ryu moved away at time with the school girl.

Sakura: What the…?

Ryu tried to take the hose but due water on the field he slipped. Suddenly the water soaked on Sakura.

Ryu: Sakura, are you…? (He saw Sakura wet and could see her bra in her transparent clothes) Oh, shit.

Sakura realized her uniform was wet and transparent; quickly she covered herself with her arms.

Sakura: (Blushed and anger) RYU!

Ryu: (Little nervous) May I explain?

Nozomi: You indecent! How dare you to do that to my lady!

Sakura: Idiot!

They began hitting him in funny way.

Mio: Hey, you stop!

School girl: (Scared) AH! Those were launched to us?

Mio: (Realizing some shurikens were launched where Ryu was) Are those… shurikens?

Takeru: (Appearing to them) What are you doing?

More students came to the place.

Ryu: Wait! They are observing us!

At that moment, Shimomura ninjas appeared to all of them. The students were amazed to see what happen.

School boy 1: No way!

School boy 2: Ninjas?

Mio: I knew! Ninjas are real!

Sakura: Nozomi!

Nozomi moved very fast and knocked mostly students with her special hit, including Mio.

Nozomi: They are all unconscious.

Ryu: Okey, let's do it!

Ryu and his team used hands position and turned into their ninja costumes.

Ninja: As we expected, the Hasashi kid is in this school!

Ryu: Let's finish them before the classmates wake up!

Ryu and the others moved fast and killed the ninjas who attacked them.

Ryu: These guys should be only the henchmen, we head should be here!

Nozomi: Let's go, the students will wake up in an hour aprox!

Voice: That won't be necessary!

They realized someone arrived, it was the samurai.

Ryu: You are a…

Samurai: My name is Musashi, the samurai.

Sakura: Samurai? The high level of a ninja. They are the most respected warriors in ancient times!

Ryu: I'll defeat all of you! Specially you! Hasashi ninja!

He used hands position and disappeared. Then more ninjas appeared right now.

Takeru: There are more?

Ryu: Let's split, we can't risk more students because of us!

Ryu and Sakura went to one place; Takeru and Nozomi to other.

Ryu: Let's hunt some Shimomura bastards!

Sakura: Then you'll go after that samurai?

Ryu: Yeah.

They noticed some students were there. The ninjas were there and ready to attack.

Ninja: Kill them!

School boy: No way! Ninjas?

School girl: Is this a kind of performance?

Ryu and Sakura were in front of the students as protecting them.

Ryu: (To the students) You! Stay back! This isn't fake! They are real killers!

Ryu launched shurikens, killing the ninja enemies. The students were afraid of that.

School girl: (Scared) Who are you?

Sakura: Don't worry. We'll take those evil ninjas out of this place. I promise.

Ryu and Sakura moved to other place.

Ryu: We should eliminate the enemies, but not allowing the classmates know our identities!

Sakura: Yes, we can't be seeing in a bad situation, like before.

Ryu: (As remembering something) Like before… (Imagining Sakura with wet clothes) Ah, crap! Like the incident with the water on you?

Sakura: (Blushed) Eh?

Suddenly she took a kunai with her hand and attacked him, but Ryu stop it with both hands in funny way.

Sakura: (Blushed and angry) What were you imagining? Damn you!

Ryu: (As stopping her) It wasn't on purpose!

Takeru and Nozomi kept killing more ninja enemies.

Takeru: These guys are weak than the others.

Nozomi: They aren't weaks, it's because we became stronger!

Takeru: I hope Kaname is out of danger.

Nozomi: Oh! When did you get interest in Kaname?

Takeru: It's because she was interviewing me, I have to make sure she didn't get information about ninja stuff.

Nozomi: Sure.

Ryu and Sakura headed to a school building. The samurai was sat over the ceiling as meditating.

Ryu: I feel his presence! The samurai is at that building!

Suddenly a ninja appeared fast and pretending to slash Ryu. But Sakura moved first.

Sakura: Ryu!

Sakura moved Ryu away as just being injured on her foot.

Sakura: (Feeling pain and slashed the ninja) Don't screw us!

Ryu: Are you okey?

Sakura: No so well! I can't run in this state.

Ryu: I'll take you to infirmary.

Sakura: We can't be seeing as ninjas by our classmates!

Ryu: Then let's change.

They used move positions and turning into their school uniform. But more ninjas appeared.

Ryu: Bad timing!

Sakura: We must…

Ryu: Not now! Let's leave.

Sakura: But I can't run.

Ryu: Then…

Ninjas: Go after them!

It's seen Ryu was running as carrying Sakura at his arms. The ninjas were chasing them.

Sakura: (Little embarrassed) Is this necessary?

Some students watched them in that situation.

School boy 1: Nakahara? And Hasashi?

School boy 2: What are they doing?

School girl: They look like a wedding couple!

Ryu and Sakura felt embarrassed as imagining themselves as groom and bride, as wedding bells sounding.

Ryu: It doesn't matter, we're engaged, right?

Sakura: Right.

They arrived to infirmary, surprising to the nurse.

Nurse: What's happening? An attack? Some students are hidden in some classrooms!

Ryu: Please, take care of her.

Nurse: You got injured by the attackers?

Sakura: Yeah.

Ryu: I have to go, be here.

Ryu run away, leaving Sakura with the nurse.

Nurse: Hey! Where do you go?

Sakura: Ryu.

Ryu run until he reached to ceiling. There was the Samurai Musashi.

Musashi: You came. Did you kill the ninjas in your school?

Ryu: I'll let my team handle them. (Making hands position and turning into his ninja costume) But, this fight is between you and me!

Musashi: (Taking his katana) I won't flexible because you're a kid!

Ryu: (Taking his katana) I know, I'm ready for mortal kombat!

Ryu attack with his katana but Musashi blocked him with his katana.

Musashi: I see, that's the ancient katana, the dragon blade! I see why Shin wants it.

Ryu: So you work for Shimomura clan!

Musashi: I don't care the Shimomura clan! I want a great battle with one member of the greatest ninja clan! Hasashi!

Ryu: Then…

Ryu continued attacking with his katana but Musashi could take control of the battle.

Musashi: I heard your katana can cut many things by its possessor power. So my katana was made with many kind of metals to resist that attack! Also I trained a lot to reach the level of samurai.

Musashi launched big shurikens, Ryu used his katana to cut them with difficult.

Musashi: Impressive, even you could cut them despite being made by strong iron.

Ryu and Musashi continued fighting by using katanas and throwing blades as running.

Ryu: (Thinking) "Damn! I knew the samurais are very strong, even more than ninjas. My family advised me to avoid a fight like this!"

Musashi: Come on brat! Is this the skill of one of Hanzo Hasashi's descendants?

Ryu: I'll show you!

Ryu attacked Musashi but without success.

Musashi: Idiot! (Giving a strong kick) That's not the way!

Ryu fell as dropping his katana. Musashi pointed his katana to him.

Ryu: I can't lose yet!

Musashi: Tsk! It's not honorable to kill someone without katana. Pick it up and fight me with all your power!

Ryu was confused but suddenly took his katana ad ready to fight.

Ryu: Honor in battle, as expected from samurai. It means you're not with Shimomura clan at all.

Musashi: Fight me and I'll tell you the reason of this fight.

Ryu: Fine!

At infirmary, Sakura was healed and ready to leave.

Sakura: Thanks, I'm fine.

Nurse: Hey, where do you go? I'll call the police for help.

Sakura: Just do it. I have to find Ryu. He would be in danger.

At the school ceiling, Ryu and Musashi keep fighting.

Musashi: If you're a ninja as Shin says, show it to me!

Ryu and Musashi crushed their katanas. Musashi gave him a strong punch, nearly knocking him.

Musashi: You're weak, maybe you should die like your clan.

Ryu: (Getting angry) Don't… offend my family.

Ryu crushed Musashi's helmet with his forehead against his too. Nearly bleeding his forehead.

Musashi: My helmet!

Ryu: I'm a ninja, for my family!

Ryu held his katana with a lot of strength. With a slash, he cut Musashi's katana. Then he punched him to making Musashi nearly fainting.

Musashi: No way! This is the power of the Dragon blade and the Hasashi clan.

Ryu: My katana shows its power as long as my spirit is unleashed with my katana.

Musashi: Good work, kid. I see you're a Hasashi member. Now kill me, I lose.

Ryu: (Feeling weak) I can't kill someone who fought with honor. You respected your principles as samurai.

Musashi: Good words kid. Your family deserves respect. I wanted you show your power, that's why I said those words to provoke you.

Ryu: Then tell me, why you joined with Shimomura clan? I thought you work for them, like the others.

Musashi: I faked being a mercenary to face one of the greatest ninja clan. Shin gave me the opportunity but I didn't want to involve your classmates. I came alone but he sent his ninjas after I came here. I played with his plan.

Ryu: I see.

At other side; Takeru and Nozomi defeated the rest of the ninjas.

Takeru: That's the last one.

Nozomi: Hurry, we have to go, the students are waking up.

Takeru: Let's see if Kaname and the others are okey.

Nozomi: You really are interested in Kaname.

Takeru: (Little blushed) Maybe a little.

They realized some cop patrols are arriving.

Nozomi: The police is arriving; we must find Sakura-sama and leave.

At the field, Mio and other students woke up.

Mio: What happened here? (Noticing the ninja corpses) Ah! Ninjas! I knew! They exist!

Then some polices arrived.

Police: Hurry! We were warning that ninjas, like the ones who were in the train kidnapping!

Mio: What's going on?

Then Sakura arrived to Ryu and Musashi.

Sakura: Ryu.

Ryu: Sakura, I'm fine. I won.

Musashi: You'd better get out of here. I heard police is arriving.

Sakura: Yeah, let's go.

Ryu: Thank, Musashi. I hope we fight again. I'll show you I'm a great nin…

Suddenly, in slow motion, a quick slash attacked Ryu mortally. Making him bleed.

Ryu: (Nearly dying) Eh?

He realized someone was behind him. That person took his katana.

Ryu: (Very weak as seeing that person) You?

That person was Shin, using his demon mask.

Musashi: Shin! What did you do?

Shin: (As leaving in a smoke) Finally, the Dragon Blade is mine! Now die, Hasashi last member!

Ryu was fainting like dying as bleeding.

Sakura: (In shock) Ryu! RYUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
