However, it was after the conclusion of the Third Great Ninja War that Orochimaru's mindset took another turn. Sarutobi Hiruzen, pressured to resign and hand the mantle to Namikaze Minato as the Fourth Hokage to "govern from the shadows," caused Orochimaru's mentality to shift again. Disappointed by his teacher's decision, Orochimaru became even more engrossed in his experiments.

It was during this time that Danzo approached Orochimaru to collaborate on the study of Hashirama's cells.

During their research on Hashirama's cells, Danzo's Anbu Root members covertly abducted orphans from the Land of Fire. Eventually, due to the presence of Senju blood in these children, they were used as experimental subjects.

Orochimaru paid no attention to the origin of the materials. He was solely focused on his experiments.

This continued until the eve of the Fourth Hokage Campaign.

Sarutobi Hiruzen indeed favored Namikaze Minato, but Orochimaru was also a suitable candidate.

Now, having been dismissed by Senju Hashirama's decision and replaced by the young, strong Uchiha Ran, the time had seemingly come for him to yield entirely.

He was not prepared to give up.

If he could bring back Orochimaru, his once-proud student, and Jiraiya, along with collaborating with Danzo's Root and his loyal Anbu members, there might be a chance to regain his authority, if not seize power once more.

Although Orochimaru's defection initially obscured his true motives, some suspected the possibility.

"Is that so?"

Uchiha Ran's gaze subtly swept over Sarutobi Hiruzen, a trace of scorn in the corner of his mouth.

He had a fairly good understanding of what the old monkey was considering.

Yet, the old monkey remained oblivious to the "gift" Orochimaru was about to present him.

[ Orochimaru: Choice Two! ]

Orochimaru selected second option without hesitation.

Space Ninjutsu, This technique allowed her to manipulate space, working in conjunction with his Crystal Style. By entering a crystal he created, she could exit from any other crystal.

"Yes!"

Guren nodded in affirmation and proclaimed, "Understood!"

In the presence of countless onlookers, the contents of the disc transformed once more.

Before the eyes of all, the five sections now read: "Dragon Ball," "Marvel," "DC," "Kamen Rider," and "Forbidden Magic."

The phantom pointer rotated once more, finally coming to rest on the "Marvel" section.
