4 Waking up

KAGA'S POV-

I woke up in a fairly white room, the traditional beeping of a Vital Signs Monitor sounding within the confines of the room, "M-mom...Dad!", I was rather emotional at the moment after going through that whole ordeal.

[FLASHBACK]

I remember I was just swallowing my food happily enjoying it, then suddenly I complained to my parents about how cold and painful my body was.

The moment I started holding back the tears that time everyone was alerted, as I wasn't known to be a child who cries, it was my first time to cry actually in this life.

The next thing I knew I was being carried by dad and telling him how cold everything felt then I screamed in pain. The next thing I knew something was growing on the back of my hips and they were like stubbing your toe pain level.

Due to my scream though Daddy seemed to have increased his speed and made his way outside, directly placing me under where sunlight wasn't blocked by clouds...warm was all I could think of.

However, I soon found myself slowly being encased in ice which freaked me out...even though I wanted to move and get away from it I couldn't move anymore, like a puppet with no strings.

Then what happened next was already a mystery to me as I fell unconscious or asleep.

Even after what seemed like shouting it seems my voice was rather too weak for me to be heard...or so I thought. I shouldn't underestimate the senses of a fox, I guess, as moments later the door was slammed open.

*BANG!*

"KAGA! How's my little girl!?", my mother came in extremely worried and just hugged me right away, not even waiting for an answer.

"Out of the way!"

"Excuse me!"

"Pardon!"

From the open door, I could hear the loud voices of my family which brings a smile to my face and making me feel warm all over.

When they finally entered the room they only flooded me with kisses and rubbed their face on me, I even allowed my dad to rub his beard on my face.

Before they could drown me with their love my savior came in just right on time, "Excuse me, may I come in and explain the situation?", the doctor who seemed to have cared for me while I was unconscious spoke.

No one replied but he received a nod in confirmation from Grandpa Senzaemon, "Well, there is only good news to say which is good and the news is that Little Kaga here has awakened two quirks!", smiling at the rare occurrence.

Manifesting two quirks was rare...but boy would you freak if I said I have five, well technically blood break can be considered as an additive to my quirk.

"Her quirks are most obvious just like what you have stated, first and foremost is the new quirk that is different from all of you and that is her Ice Type Quirk.

The last one would be her Nine Tails, we don't know what it does yet but guessing from all of your strengths it should be a good indicator that her potential in the strength department is higher than all of you!"

The Doctor gave a simple rundown of what they have seen so far and it seems that they didn't check any blood test of the sort, or else they would've noticed the "regeneration" factor of it.

Everyone had a sigh of relief for the fact that their little Kaga will be stronger than them and that's saying something because if they decided to be Heroes they would've taken the Top 10 spots immediately.

Well...except for Granpa Raito and Grandma Mamora, their respective quirks are Adaptability and Senses.

With Adaptability, Raito could adapt his body to any situation easier than most, and Mamora's Senses quirk could sense people around her while heightening her own bodily senses.

The doctor then began to continue what he needed to say, "And it is advisable to let little Kaga stay for one more day to be monitored properly, and if you like we can let her try out her quirk", he suggested as he looked at me.

I on the other hand was elated and already forgetting the pain that I just experienced moments ago, and to back me up with my emotions my nine tails wiggled with me.

I tried imagining myself...and I have to say a young Kaga wiggling her nine tails...what a sight! And I was right, my parents couldn't even harbor the thought of saying no and just agreed immediately with the Doctor.

With everything finished the Doctor left to give the family space and the moment the door clicked signifying its closure, my family bombarded me with questions.

"Does anything hurt?"

"Anything uncomfortable?"

"How do you feel?"

As if sensing my struggle to answer their questions Mom immediately stopped them, "One by one! Little Kaga is overwhelmed by the questions, isn't that right sweety?", I nodded to what they said.

"I also have a storage space!", I answered with glee, and to showcase it I touched the flower pot then imaged it going inside a bag of the sort, to which it immediately disappeared. Though, I placed it back by imagining to remove it from a bag.

'They'll find out anyway so might as well now', I thought to myself but all I could see was them looking at me with shocked faces. I mean...I could be the world's best drug smuggler.

Before they could say anything, "Mom, can I go to the room prepared for me to use my quirk?", I asked in my puppy dog eyes, moving fox ears, and even swayed my tails. The effect was too much and they just took out a camera from out of nowhere and took pictures.

*click*

"Okay, after a few pictures then you can go~", Mom said as she continues to sna[ shots of me. After I heard the snaps of tens I already bolted for the door...much to the dismay of my parents and grandparents.

As I was making my way to the quirk testing area I saw a kid about my age with half white and red hair heading to the same place as me, except with his mother.

'Oooh, It's Shoto!', I thought and immediately went and asked his mother even though I am rather shy to new people, "A-Ano...are you going to the quirk testing area?", I asked and was embarrassed due to the stutter.

"Ara ara, what a cute child! What's your name little one?", she said ignoring what I just asked, maybe I'm too cute?

"My name is Kaga Asakura!", I exclaimed cause if I don't say it fast and loud I'm afraid I'd stutter.

'Hah...I forget that I was basically an introvert in my past life and am only talkative to my relatives and parents in this life, meaning I still have no friend!?', my face reddened at the sudden realization of it.

Though it seems Rei Todoroki or the mom of Shoto thought of it as me being shy and nervous, I mean my tails and ears move according to my emotions!

"You're the child of the Asakura's? That explains the fox ears and this is my son", she said and I looked at the boy who was looking at me, "Shoto Todoroki, nice to meet you!", suddenly introducing himself.

'Weird...he seems confident? Or is this the effect of not getting abused?', I thought but all of a sudden he grabs my hand and runs and forces me to run with him. 'This Shoto seems like the polar opposite of the anime?'

"Fufufu~It seems I already found a future daughter-in-law", Rei said to herself as she watched the two children runoff in the quirk testing room.
