E16: Sensational with-it...

Cheyenne freemont is an aspiring fashion designer, on her way to glamorous movie star, model and all around entrepreneur Gloria Gaye's special fashion event held in her main building located at the busiest part of Blüdhaven. She was getting herself ready for what she considers her biggest night, she was the winner and the main guest.

Cheyenne arrived at the major fashion haven event, she was met by the most eyes she's ever seen staring at her when she got out of a typical truck, it was her father's truck. She never moved on, she never wants to replace it. She'll take a four year long college mechanic courses before she part with it.

"Cheyenne, dear, so glad you made it and you look ravishing as I expected. Darling, are you ready for tonight and to start rising up, I don't mean to be a downer but fair warning, this industry can get disgustingly competitive." Said Gloria Gaye with a big smile after Cheyenne finally made it inside the building and past the paparazzi and the numerous undercover exposé writers trying to get in to meet her for the first time.

Cheyenne was internally screaming on the inside, sweating and out of her depth, she didn't realize how out of her depth she was going to be tonight.

"I'm as ready and filled with as much enthusiasm as a giant Panda gets around Bamboo shoots and stems throughout its day because it can't digest them right so they want more!" Cheyenne replied with as honest enthusiasm as she could musker.

Gloria stared at her for a solid second, slightly uncomfortable, slightly starting to think about pandas, "Okay…? Cute." Gloria responded with a small shrug and her knowing how to respond to that quickly vanishing the deeper she gets into thought about adorable pandas.

"A panda fact, random panda fact, ugh, you're stupid Cheyenne!" Cheyenne was being a bully to herself in her thoughts while keeping her artificial smile as the two women made eye contact.

Gloria saw the mayor of Blüdhaven wave to her and used that as an opportunity to escape the awkwardness between them politely.

Cheyenne wiped her eyes and smelled her armpits, her deodorant still strong but she hated how nervous she still had gotten.

The lady of the night went to take a moment at Gloria's bar, a lean, muscular and acrobatically fit young man with healthy and dashing black hair fitted with an equally stunning black "special occasion" quality suit sat down next to her in the next stool over, the bartender was currently attending another customer for the moment but neither were ready to drink anyway. Cheyenne just needed to pull herself together, looking at the man in front of her when he greeted her as he sat with his handsome, chiseled face helped with this, hearing his alluring and calming voice was overkill.

"I'm willing to bet a pretty fortune no other woman could pull that dress off quite like you." Said the young man with suave and relaxed tone, she was wearing a baby blue dress of her own crafting, "I'd hope not, since I spent hours making it 'specially for me." Cheyenne replied with a genuine smile and a chuckle for his pick up line.

The young man's jaw dropped before he looked around in disbelief, showing obvious pleasant shock, but with a smile helping sell it.

"oh, so, you're the lady of the party? 'Cause, I'm not going to sugarcoat it, it's weird to make a special dress if you're not the special guest. That - I didn't mean to rhyme." The young man responded, throwing his arms up and said with that same tone Cheyenne absolutely adored so quickly, "It's alright, and is that true…?" Cheyenne asked, wanting a true answer, she thought that would've been cool.

"No, yes, I mean I can respect it but the work would need to be extraordinarily done. I guess you're still the exception." The young man replied, slightly confused about what to answer but hoping it was the right one. Cheyenne was left blushing, left overwhelmed by his charm, left feeling which shoveled a path for her some of her introverted problems to spoil the moment for them. Cheyenne couldn't take it, she seen Gloria again and used her to escape the tension.

The young man was frozen and felt like he was hit by a thunderbolt in the heart, a six-foot-seven muscular behemoth of a man with a short mo-hawk walked up to the young man and placed his hand on his shoulder.

"That's gotta be pretty damn rough buddy." The larger man said with a sympathetic tone to his lean friend.

"And here my ass thought the conversation was going pretty good, Blüdhaven women though." The young man responded to his brother, "Blüdhaven women, they act like we're monsters, 'oh, you're too big for me, oh, you're a freak of nature!'" The larger man replied with utter irritation in his tone as he mocked and resented those who he was referring to.

The lean friend stared over at his larger buddy and simply nodded, trying hard not to burst out into laughter, trying to keep an artificial sympathetic face on him since he can't relate to that at all but didn't want the big guy to feel down. The larger guy felt his vibe and glared at him.

Over their ear pieces, they heard their elder sister's demanding voice tell them to knock it off.

"I'm gonna forget that comment onBlüdhaven women and remind you morons that you are absolutely monsters, about to rob a weak old lady blind, a million bucks blind from her pocketbook, for a few cheap hoagies and some rippers later on." Said Their leader and eldest sister, Avery Martell.

Lean and large couldn't deny the truth in what she spoke and could only shrug as a natural for Blüdhaven locals do frequently, but in silence, both wouldn't admit it but they were very scared of Avery. "Dimwits, we've got what we need to know, act now!" Avery Martel yelled out to the brothers, to every sibling in the Whale's enders.

Lean and Muscular and their twelve other siblings pulled out their guns and began blasting lead into every single security guard they could and there were many, many security guards throughout the building during the event.

Some civilians attending ran out, ran for their lives and were shot, the smart ones surrendered and dropped to the ground. Cheyenne was one of the lucky party goers who escaped and had nobody seen her, gunfire blasting all around her but not a single one came too near her during this.

Her only snag, the building layout was confusing but artistic and a few Whale's enders were patrolling the halls.

There were so many Whale's enders, there were so few compared to them of security guards.

The Whale's enders mean business but sometimes they're not against a good fair brawl.

It was Lean vs a highly trained security guard while Large held one in a tight headlock. The trained security guard won, which forced Avery to step in to save him. Lean had to pick himself off the ground filled with shame and embarrassment while she glared his way, shaming him.

The Whale's enders knew how the Blüdhaven police operated masterfully well, they kept a few hostages to use as meat shields when they did arrive and made sure they prioritized Gloria Gaye's safety for their heist and leverage. For their safe escape.

The clock turned midnight, the police arrived, Chief Red horn and Officer Rohrbach arrived and began waiting for Blüdhaven's special offensive unit to appear, the Whale's enders were more than prepared for these guys and not only with meat shields.

Nightwing was already on patrol when Officer Rohrbach informed him through their radio about Gloria Gaye's currently grim "sensational with-it" situation. He hurried immediately, outspeeding cars easily, as well as catching a car which got him a nice chunk of the way even quicker.

Nightwing stood on top of a nearby building and scoped the scene, he couldn't see anyone inside because the windows were covered by then, Whale's enders were prepared, police, scummy paparazzi and nosy scoop lovers were chaotic and loud in the front and there were no back.

There was a small side window that led to who knows where but it was glass and Nightwing had made the perfect modification to his escrima sticks, added glass-cutting lasers to the non-electrically charged part of his latest sticks in his collection. Thanks to this small addition, he was able to fit just right into one of the unaccounted small side windows of the building's layout then decide how to go about it then…
