Julius's eyes slowly fluttered open, only to find himself at the center of what appeared to be a medieval village. Around him, countless shadowy figures stood jeering, their faces indistinct and voices inaudible. They spanned all ages, from the young to the elderly.

He scanned his surroundings and discovered he was shackled to a wooden stake. His arms were bound and wrapped tightly around the pillar, leaving him immobilized.

His heart pounded heavily against his chest, drumming a rhythm of fear, as he glanced at the hay at his feet. A tiny flame hovered over it, dancing ominously.

"Nightmare… wait… please-"

His plea was cut short as the flame dropped onto the hay, igniting it instantly. The crackle of the flames grew louder as they swiftly spread, and the shadowy figures around him erupted into cheers, their silhouettes dancing in the blazing light.
