Prologue 9 (Part 3) Kazu Nini Vs The Sprite Twins (1).

The Principal turned to them in turns, a pair of glasses on his eyes that were not there before now stood rested on his nose bridge. "Any items that will be used?"

The young Pixie dangled the Space Box slung to one of the straps for her belt under her gown, which she now took off and tossed towards The New Universe before the twins had likewise done theirs. "Its my weapon in the fight."

Mako Nini tilted her head as she did not know that her niece had been having weapon training apart from glass.

He stopped for a moment, "the rules did not prohibit any weapons, but I will confiscate any that I find extreme."

She let out a breath, "as you will."

"What's wrong Nini, can't fight me on your own?" Kivon sneered and the members of The Kings, Queens and Jesters all booed at her.

The Slime was done and nodded to both sides as the Sprite Twins did not have any. "Can both contestants proceed to the stage?"

Both? Kazu Nini was sure she heard both; if he had said both sides reach the stage it would be different but they were two she had to battle. So, why was the principal referring to them as two?

Clearing her mind by shaking her head, Kazu Nini faced the applauding crowd with anticipation and the rush she felt did not waver in the slightest even as she could not fail to notice that she might be fighting *both* the twins. The young Pixie did not understand it fully either, but from the stance of the principal, he did not seem to mind. She assumed that they would take turns or something since he did not state anything about those in the rules.

Either way, she was not afraid.

Taking steps and jumping unto the wide expansive platform, she passed through the Damage Barrier which was almost more transparent than glass but also it felt like Mercury as it acted like jelly, stretching till it absorbed her in, and did not leave any residues on her body.

The stage with the RegeneratingTerraFirma did not feel too different than concrete and Kazu Nini almost doubted her aunt's words, but was there any reason for the older Pixie to lie to her?

She watched Kivon walk onto the stage until he passed through the Damage Screen too, to face her. Devon was outside the Damage Screen and her eyes moved from him before resting again on his other twin.

"Ready to get beaten?"

The Kings, Queens and Jesters began beating their chests and making animal chants.

"Hmph." She got into a stance, feet apart and both forming the 45 degree, her hands both in front of her sternum but one was before the other.

"Ooooooh." The New Universe were quick to respond.

"Okay!" The Slime was bustling with visible excitement, spreading out his arms as he moved around the arena that was being captured on the many screens of which some were in slow motion and others in faster speed, while he he flew in slow circles about the stage on some sort of hovering Potent Artifact that was only wide enough for his shoulder width span. "Now, the match will begin in 3 seconds…" Holding out an arm, the noise of the crowd died down until Kivon opened both legs and allowed both palms outstretched to face towards her, his face entirely serene.

"….2 seconds…"

She had started circulating Ko-jin from her organs so that whatever hormones needed will be constant and keep her alert. Her muscles too had energy flowing through every inch.

"...1 second…."

Kazu Nini had long put everything that could be a distraction far from her as she had even gone as far as backing the stands where she knew her aunt was seated. Kivon had on such a serious face that she took a breath in and another out. His flicker of eyes towards an area of the audience did not skip her notice.

"...GO!!!"

Kazu Nini remembered that he was Divine Early Stage 8 – 2 levels ahead of her, which meant that she had to give this her all so her mind played scenes of the upcoming battle in her head.

None of them moved for 10 minutes straight.

"What's wrong?" Some people from the crowd murmured.

"Can they hear at all?"

"I don't get."

Kivon let out air and broke his stance, walking close until his hands were almost touching hers then, he took his position again but after 20 minutes Kazu Nini could not take it anymore and threw a punch to the Sprite.

Kivon deftly caught that left fist with his own and instantly wound his arm over it, like his were an intelligent constricting snake, clasping it tightly. Then, he starts pulling her in close, before he throws out his left elbow as he advanced forwards.Kazu Nini promptly replies by using a flare of Ko-jin to pull her left arm free and bends low so that she dodges the elbow but uses the pull he first applied against her to now be behind him with her arms wrapped around on his waist.

"Booyah."

The Pixie slams the Sprite on his back but with a short bust of Ko-jin he slaps his hands on the ground which makes him flip in a 180 but also above and away from her. He then kicks at her form he had just forced upright and uses the recoil to slide back on his feet just like she is.

The audience clapped.

"Not bad, Nini."

Her shirt now having imprints of his feet on her back, Kazu Nini turns around to regard the smiling Sprite before both of them begin walking towards each other in a slow spiral. When they meet again, after taking their stances, Kivon starts this time with a punch that she catches and tries to use to pull him over her head. And although she carries him over her body, he lands on his feet with his back facing the floor but not touching it. His free arm sends a palm strike backwards but she tilts her neck to dodge it, immediately turning to face him, not just from the danger she felt from that palm strike but to free the hand she had used to hold him.

Just as she was letting go of that hand, she now intended to use both to hook around his neck and deliver a knee to his sternum. And the Sprite jumps back to successfully displace her by pulling her along his short flight, which makes her barely dodge a kick to the face that also hit one of her arms of his neck to finally scrape on her chin. Kivon watches blood from her hair to her cheek and she knows that his strikes are not so simple.

Or maybe that was strength from Divine Early Level 8.

Kazu Nini instantly knees that leg with feline flexibility and a boost of Ko-jin before repeating this attack to not only meet his still dropping leg again but managing to almost completely slap his face because he creates space between themselves. Her mental energy helped her swiftly recover from the clip to her chin. But now with her head pounding, she intended not to let him rest. Although, he was the one who ran towards her, throwing a fist to her face as he did so.

The punch made her block it after it already landed and also not realize he was now behind her. The Pixie was now thrown out of the ring after she had encountered the Damage Barrier and passed through the jelly like substance.

"Awww, so sad." Kivon made a teasing gesture and then laughed hard.

The Kings, Queens and Jesters Society gives a standing ovation while throwing their downwards facing thumbs at The New Universe.

Mako Nini clapped and watched on, happy that Kazu Nini was getting real world experience. Apart from her incident with the INO. [1.]

"Did not even have time to sneak in any words." The Slime clapped, "a close one, and wittily ended. The Rules for this round; contestants can use Ko-jin and aspects of their Specie, but still Hand to Hand."

*"Ko-jin Cloak."*

*"Glass Cloak."*

Kazu Nini frowned and coated her body in thick glass as she sees him covering his in sparkling Light Blue Ko-jin so that they both looked like they were wearing over-sized clothes or astronaut suits.

"What are you doing Nini?"

"Shut up."

"Round 2…" The crowd quieted again."...And Begin!!!"

Kazu Nini was so deep into her thoughts about how she was going to win, as since this was only hand to hand combat what would happen when they were both allowed to use their powers at full blast. When she copied his act of covering his entire body, she realized that with the new weight on her body – the 5 times reinforced Glass – made her push against her strength which in turn might help her hit harder.

Kazu Nini ducked low to dodge a suddenly inflated fist of Ko-jin that could have grabbed everything from her waist and up. The Pixie then connected an solid uppercut which carried him high. But that, he replied to with an almost unconnected knee to her rib. However, she had already began throwing him to the floor, his back landing on it with cracks spreading out from the impact.

WHAM!

Kivon breaks free of her grasp with a helicopter kick that sweeps her off her feet and allows him to not only punch her several times but also elbow her face before twisting his body after clutching her torso so that she was now on the stage and beneath him.

WHAM!

Once her body bounced off the ground, Kazu Nini added a flare of Ko-jin and used the recoil to pull both legs in, delivering a kick on his chest and chin so hard, that she was forced to let go and jump back. The Pixie notices the potency of his Divine Energy as some of the glass encasing her body begins sizzling.

As soon as the Pixie uses spikes extending from the bulk of seamless glass on the soles of her feet to plant herself firmly on the ground, Kivon appears before her face with his head at her knee level. Rising up with a flurry of punches that trail after the last one till they reach her forehead - of which she manages to block all of them - he next immediately drops to the ground and hits one of her calves, throwing one foot off its connection from the ground and making her balance shake with surprising strength and fluidity of one move to the next.

Almost succeeding in the first try, her feet with spikes jutting from them, lifted off the ground before stomping at the Sprite's attacking leg. And just before the sweeping ankle made contact, Kivon suddenly throws his attack the other way to get her supporting leg but it only manages to lift that leg far enough to make her cross her feet and adjust her stance. He departed from her like his body were a blur with hair thin fissures spread from the impact they both made atop the stage.

Kazu Nini balanced her stance as he waved her to come to him. Kivon even made a show of trying to study her from different angles, pacing back and forth.

BONG!

However, he was the one who seemed to materialize before her face again with Explosive Step, making her miss her attack with her arms too wide, which he took advantage of by throwing both of his on her chest, caving her back backwards and forcing both blood and spittle to issue from her lips.

The Pixie forcefully spun, happy that her mental energy made her quickly react to things even after damage, proceeding a flare of Ko-jin, and used the motion to deliver countless blows to his body as the intensity of Light Blue Ko-jin glowed from within her legs until the light became blaring.

At the peak of her rising and falling machine gun kicks, he would have ended with a completely broken shoulder but he jumped away in time. Kivon painfully shifted the shoulder back into place before throwing her off again when he returned to into her personal space so suddenly, she could barely react.

BONG!

The noise before his movement that scattered air behind where he was once was a trademark to his proficiency with it and was in stark contrast to what she used, Instant Step, which simply moved the user so fast it seemed to be in a moment. And she hated his seamlessness with Explosive Speed, and she could not wait to learn it after she became Divine Early Level 7.

They both hit each other, though. Except, hers' was a bit slower but he had now fallen to the floor, facing it with his chest as he slid backwards with his hands and feet. When she tried stomping him this time, he had already passed between her legs and, with one hand controlling his land but the other on her standing leg, he twirled forcefully.

Kazu Nini was scrubbed on the ground before she was yanked into the air and began enduring blows that disoriented her until she pulled herself together and curled her body in defense, covering her face before raising her knees to meet her elbows. Kivon's final kick that sent her out of the arena again was delivered to her just at the ceiling of the 50-Meter-Tall Damage Barrier.

She landed on her back and faced the sky from outside the arena in silence, contrary to the screaming crowd.

Mako Nini liked the girls' reaction times but she was losing. How would her dear niece remedy that? So, she clapped only once, this time.

"New Universe, Go home."

"Kings, Queens and Jesters, baby."

"Oh, yeah."

Jinja Kaliope was of the mind to attack his fellow students in the opposing society but Elric Yjob held him back. "Have faith."

The Slime Principal hovered until he reached near to her. "Is everything all right?" Mako Nini tilted her head in curiosity as she shared the same worries with the Principal.

Naro Meena remembered the question that he had asked Kazu Nini about if she would be able to hold this organization on her own. He did not want to be under the Sprites if they ended up winning. He sighed in regret.

"Go home and get ready for an extra year.

"Boo hoo."

"You suck."

The younger Pixie stood up and ignored the Slime Principal, walking onto the stage and sat down after she crossed her legs. Kazu Nini then pulled out her dolls before reaching into her Space Box. Pulling out 2 Boxes, she opened them at the same time to reveal mud that filed the entire space, save for a glass ball in the center of both of them. She placed her dolls into each of them as Kivon spoke to her.

"Might as well just give up at this point."

She eyed him as she inserted the last doll and all the mud rose up as if they were puppets on a string.

"The young Pixie has quite the temper, guys. She might need some motivation." He went back up in the air. "So round 3; Long range battle in 3…"

Kivon had resumed his stance and all the mud from the boxes began to take shape as if life were being birthed in them.

"...2…"

Mako Nini sat forward in interest as she had not known that Kazu Nini had these.

"...1…"

The first one became a Bear standing at least 6 feet and at its side was a hawk that had the former beast's height in its wing span.

"...GO!!!"
