Prologue 4 (Part 3) Prisoner Become Boss and Another Boss Shows up.

The three of them woke up - after she had fun kicking them to consciousness, stripped and forced to share a chair with their back to each other – in a state that left them uncomfortable not just from the lack of their apparel but their knees hurting from the imbalance. A fat and thick slab made of glass locked their hands to each other.

"Frank, Edwor, Jnae, what are you guys doing with all that food?"

They woke to see the Pixie eating slowly and when the last one she captured, Jnae, wanted to shout back at his comrades through the door, she made him pass out with a ball of glass that locked his head. Frank had woken up with a startle and he had quickly noticed the Pixie laying a finger between her lips to shush him, however when he had begun even asking what had happened, she slapped him so hard that a tooth fell out. The slap roused Edwor from his drowsiness and she only smiled to him.

"Tell him that you will return it in a moment." She was yet to shake of the effects of the RestrictionHolderChips as she felt as though her body had slept on her.

The man complied and she clapped for him, lightly, even giving him an apple to eat. He looked at her in confusion and when she began to frown, he had a big healthy bite.

"We thought something was wrong." The voices on the other side of the door were as curios as they were angry.

"No, nothing is. We just decided to make merry with food."

"You know the Subordinate head is coming right?"

He repeated what she mouthed. "Go buy something else, then! I want to eat this food with my buddies."

They swore outside the door and began running, scrambling to get supplies.

Kazu Nini knew that some would stay by the door, not trusting their words and that others would immediately rush to buy food, just in case nothing truly was wrong.

If it was just food why pack everything? And why were the Noise Dampeners turned off?

Kazu Nini had long compacted all the glass she could find into her bag and now it resembled a gym ball but she waited for about 15 minutes, in which time she got to know a few things. At first, they had been tight lipped but after she had placed NoiseDampeners about the room and hands that had shards of glass about them were bloodied, she got lee headway.

First, they were known as The Infamous Noble Ones or The INO

Secondly, they never knew who their boss was and had always speculated that he was either a King pin, underground boss lord, Drug Pusher or a Noble.

Thirdly, the decision to capture her was purely out of spite and was no definitive motive as the cause.

Fourthly, from the map and their lips, she knew that the guest coming would be arriving in about an hour or half of one.

Lastly, she asked about her guardian, Mako Nini and if they knew her, but they shook their heads. Over the course of the years, she saw how people treated the older Pixie and she was usually surprised or lost for words or confused so she could never put a ring on it.

Either way, she choked them till they passed out and then she waited and listened…

…until she could hear shuffling and the aiming of more than a hundred ProjectileGuns in her direction.

Then, she finally mentally pulled the Gym ball of glass out of the bag and rolled it to under her left foot. The glass gym ball reached there and she deftly got it above her left toes before juggling it once to the other foot. When she passed it between her toes four times, the fifth time was to her chest height after bumping it off there. Then she spun in the air, allowing a flare of Ko-jin in her right leg, before she flicked a kick to its surface.

FWOOOOOM

The ball of glass blasted in the direction of the door, breaking it and carrying a number a goodly amount of people in the air with it and when she landed gracefully, she clenched her fists by the time it was roughly halfway in the hallway filled with guards.

*"A Hundred Castigations!"*

Where a hundred pieces of glass did not fracture or break bones, they knocked out whoever they came into contact with before, with the release of that hand, they converged back again and followed behind her like an orb of intelligence. Kazu Nini levitated it to the rooms she had first visited a few hours ago; the same ones where she had captured the guards and also gotten something to eat from and added their transparent screens to her glass ball, before proceeding. She turned to her immediate left and saw the door which the visitor arriving today will come through. Opening it, she walked down a room that had its oven and several couches. It was made warm with heaters from the vents and the young Pixie walked into the next one, after robbing anything of import. The SenseDampeners, like the AudioDampener she turned on, and she added a VisualDampener, and even an OlfactoryDampener that Frank had given her before she walked into the next one.

This one already had its SenseDampeners and she simply activated them, now that her Ko-jin no longer caused her to feel nausea although they now just felt sluggish. She took one of the SpaceBoxes left on the table along with anything glass and moved out two doors. Filling the crevices of the door before carrying back the disfigured bodies she had brought down, Kazu Nini sensed another set of the thugs coming down to this level. She shoved them into the room that she had once been tortured in, then waited in the cubicle that used to be a kitchen.

The new comers, hands full of groceries, saw a broken-down door and one of their friends. Kazu Nini waited until they reached the other door before choking them too with glass around their heads.

"Hey! what happ-"

Their voices caught as they were now lifted by their necks until their feet were no longer on the floor.

She heard the cocking of ProjectileGuns outside the door and she added an inch of Ko-jin to the soles of her feet, which sent her body flying like a bullet into the space of a warehouse, just as a plethora of bullets were unleashed.

BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG!

Kazu Nini saw the rectangular space, the multitude of thugs aiming bullets which had left their nuzzles at the door, the shock not yet registering on their faces that she had come through, their positions on platforms about the flanks of this extra-large space which reminded her of narrow bridges – including the ones hiding behind some of these crates, others standing in the open still finding cover, not yet joining in the assault, - the closing of the far most door which closed down like a garage door and the hundreds of crates which had some sort of substance in them which gave her a sense of danger.

With a splay of her fingers, she encapsulated all the bullets she had sensed, and with the cloak of Ko-jin about their flying bodies it was easy to shift them - if you did not count their weight - back at their own people. She dropped to the floor and rolled to a stand, staring at the one she had purposely left untouched who dropped to the ground on his knees with his mouth open. She threw some Space Boxes at him and ordered him.

"Pack anything of use into them, weapons and the food I wasted." He was shaking and he finally met her eyes. "When the guest arrives, you will serve him and act normally."

He nodded his head as he rushed to comply but just as she had given the order, the door slid open again to welcome a new retinue and she made glass from her spectacles cover her in a shield before revolving five pieces of glass which caught flying projectiles like it was a reflex action while they orbited her in convoluted patterns. Kazu Nini, in her protective sphere, flew back and experimentally threw a crate at them using one of the glass pieces revving about her as it was now flat.

The explosion destroyed the door and rattled her senses, throwing her back at the wall near the door she had just bested them through when they had welcomed her with bullets she had redirected. Spearing shards of the transparent shards of glass before each of them, in warning, before strangling the armed thugs into silence, she located the one she had sent to do her bidding earlier and he rushed to comply. Kazu Nini even noticed some were hiding behind some crates on the higher level when her senses where still calibrating to optimal frequency and cursed the RestrictionHolderChips for also apparently dulling her wits.

Kazu Nini resumed the movement of the smaller pieces of glass about her about her as she hovered to the air in blinding speed where she forcefully dropped a piece on one end of the bridge, destroying it and catapulting one of the thugs as a result, who thought he could hide, before slapping him to the ceiling and finally throwing him at his work colleagues who had just shot at her during that very moment.

Kazu Nini dropped her ebbing height with a shift of her mind in her glass ball and missed a bullet which had been designed for speed and penetration over short distance power and penetration. This one, instead of having a ball of Ko-jin around it, had a stretch of Ko-jin about its body.

She snapped her head in his direction and used her instruments to break his wrists before flinging him to another corner of the room, dropping him on the body of one of his knocked-out friends which eventually made them both stop breathing.

Kazu Nini made good sure that she was finished this time before relaxing. The young Pixie felt that she had barely used her Ko-jin which would be handy if there was a real fight, so she levitated the crates on her own, arranging them on a line to the higher elevation of bridges which was at least 10 feet above her and retracted her shield. Kazu Nini even found Short-Range VocalGadgets and added the new Projectile Guns to one of the Space Boxes that she had, packing them up too.

An hour later, The Lackey she had left to do her bidding was in the guest room. He watched as the air rippled, then darkened before finally opening up like a curtain parted to both sides from the middle to let a muscular, ripped guest out of it. Tusks that were supposed to be canines jutted form its mouth to almost reach its cheeks, flayed leather gauntlets worn shoes, a Telewatch around its left shoulder and a hatchet hanging by its side. It had a slight hunch to its posture with matted and tousled hair, intelligent but dull eyes, and a piggish face with a nose that was almost a snout.

He quickly lowered his head as he noticed its staring at the different SenseDampeners in the room to which he answered. "We desired to put you into comfort and not disturb your rest."

"No…sense…we…only…one…other." It regarded him as one of its hands found its hatchet. "Where…are…the…others…?"

Kazu Nini sensed him before he broke through to the main area where she sat to recover her energy and she was happy that her Ko-jin was finally waking back up but felt danger coming to her from the orc before her.

"What…happened…here?" it looked around and saw the exploded door that she had not used because she knew it was useless since she did not know exactly where she was.

"You…explain to me." Kazu Nini saw the lackey's head in its hands and she was shocked as this was the first dead body she had seen. So, it delayed her for a split second which the orc would have obviously noticed.

She stood up and bowed to save her delayed time.

"Forgive my rudeness."

Happy that she finally felt her Ko-jin flowing half-normally in her body. She then proceeded to fake her falling so that it distracted him from looking up where a spear of glass sought to bury him through his scalp. She was half excited and half scared, as this might be her first fatal decision and did not hesitate to fly towards him in a burst of speed that was enhanced by Ko-jin. Ko-jin better finally responding to her at least, when she was a second away and forming a fist that mentally merged the three other pieces of glass to form a hand that was double of hers.

Pah!

However, he had slapped her back to where she came from, as if batting a fly, and used his hatchet to deflect the spear into one of the walls before she mentally pulled it back into her grasp as her ball of glass, and herself, were now buried into the earth.

Kazu Nini had read some things about orcs before, but knowing and feeling where two different things.
