Prologue 39 (Part 3) Searching For News and Doing What She Can.

Kazu Nini did not need to worry about this now. She was planning to start pushing herself. So, why did this have to come up? She punched the wall until her hands bled and then she dropped to her knees. Her lips shook and quivered as tears followed.

She hated this feeling of helplessness.

Why was it always these Nobles?

What was her destiny with them?

Why could they not all just go and burn in their pompous, wretched possessions?

Well, maybe the last time she would get to see her aunt would be about her past life.

Her Aunt would want her strong enough to be independent.

Hopefully, this would force her mother into action.

She still had a mother, she still had someone at least.

Staring at the ground, she realized that maybe he should not be so pessimistic about the whole ordeal.

Sniffing back snot, and wiping her tears with the back of her hands. She noticed Jagonu Nanhor knocking on her door.

She could not hear the girl's voice because the NoiseDampener would not allow her voice in. Which meant that the Spirit was striking with the power of her cultivation behind each knock.

Emotions, the Spirit had used emotions. She would learn how to hide those ones later, but she was not sure if she could physically or emotionally tug with Jagonu Nanhor if she decided to insist on opening the door in full swing.

So, she opted out the option of letting the door free by a crack. Instead, she reached into her Telewatch.

X_XNiniThePixieXDTM: Any results?

 X_XNiniThePixieXDTM: That was not the assignment I gave.

X_XNiniThePixieXDTM: Her Telewatch could have been hijacked. And how do you know it was her's? I could not reach her line.

 xxSlimeTimexx (Naro Meena): You used the Incident on the Media to find out it was her affair, right?

X_XNiniThePixieXDTM: What of it?

 xxSlimeTimexx (Naro Meena) : So, I traced the calls within that area for a week. But I am not too good in the dark web. So, I can inky say she has been in that area for not more than 3 days.

 Kazu Nini switched off her Telewatch and wondered if she should not just use the Mineral Stones and then bite the Nobles as hard as she could. However, she imagined the humiliation her father faced and scratched the idea from her mind.

Wrenching her door open, she walked to where the food was and dug into it as thoughts entered her mind. Both her roommates were startled at first but chose not to speak. Her Public resource Manager was with them and stared as she covered her hands in oil and chugged water. Her lips too were stained and the dried tears were unmistakable.

"I'll need notes for my classes that I am going to skip. I will need notes for any announcements that are going to be vital. When you guys are done with classes, you will take me through the movement steps. I don't want to be disturbed. Goodnight."

She finished her meal and they had all dispersed by then.

Wondering how Mano Nini felt when she had her moments of anger, idly, she also asked herself if this was that how these people looked up to her?

The next morning had her going to the Cultivation Haven Terrain.

She remembered when she was there that she had had nothing to eat, like how she realized the lady at the front desk had said something she had missed. Anyways, she was in the room now and had turned all the training settings of the veins she gad access to, to '1'

The Kazu Nini collapsed to the ground at some point and till she left, all she did was try to acclimatize her body to the weight.

 And although she could walk about and mentally push herself to ignore the stress, she thought she was growing too slow.

 During the training, she heard the interruption of a LoudThinker.

 "Prime Student you have visitors."

 "Prime student is busy."

 "…they said they brought your food."

 "….coming."

 She took a quick shower and stepped out.

 "Hey, we noticed you left without getting anything."

 "Cant fight if you are not alive, eh?"

 The Goblin held out a lunch pack and the Spirit had fruits in her hands. Walking out of the building, they sat on the steps and spoke.

 "We understand your situation but you need to take care of yourself."

 The Fairy stepped out of space between Isimala Fginja and Jagonu Nanhor. She was panting hard and clutching her knees. "Hah…Hah…Space travel… is not…easy."

 She then turned to Kazu Nini.

 "They will be gathering around 8." She stood up straight and as breathing less heavy. "They said that they found some leads but your Telewatch has been switched off."

 She held down the urge to immediately switch on the device and nodded.

 Walking back up she paused and looked at them. "Thanks."

When she was done, she was drenched all over. But now she could do stretches while forcing herself to ignore the strain on body, spirit and soul.

She waved the secretary good bye before stepping into he night.

It was not too chilly, but the next season was coming and signs of this cold would only get worse. She barely felt it, but this minute sensation was before a greater disgust.

Not too far from her, Uniah Gramanos turned back to meet her eyes.

They had both been cultivating.

"If it isn't this one who had her father disgraced over 18 years ago.,"

The Pixie felt that this tactic was to simply get her to lose composure but self control had never been this much of an issue her whole life.

 She played along and answered right back. "Are you that terrified of defeat that you think the only chance you have is to beat me is by getting me kicked out?"

 The muscles on the princess's face twitched and Kazu Nini had already used Imperfect Explosive Speed to leave the scene, blood dripping down the lips she bit painfully hard. She ran to her Dorm and covered her face 8n glass when she reached the building.

 Jagonu Nanhor, Isimaila Fginja and Zlai Dfon had been waiting for her as the other staff of the New Universe in Jhoklon were gathered at Jinja Kaliope's house.

 "Hey boss!"

 Kazu Nini nodded to her and then went straight to the showers after shortly staying in her room. Maybe she would switch to leaving it on her face this way instead of the glasses. Either way, the shower as a perfect excuse to wash the blood and tears away.

 She raised a hand and then went to he pot wondering at her level of hunger. Maybe eating would help her forget her pain.

 "Status report."

 "Well, we got a suspicious letter today."

 "Who was the sender?"

 "I think it might be in our favor."

 "What did it say?"

 "It said if we needed help, all we had to do was to reach out."

 She paused, "maybe it is those who feel grateful for the things she has don for them."

 "We thought so too, but it added, things would be settled soon. She had to disappear for a while.'

 "I think someone fabricated it to make me feel better." Zlai Dfon was about to speak again but Kazu Nini cut her of. "NEXT!"

 "Okay," the Goblin followed up. "We have gained quite the interested crowd after NDI made posters about the upcoming auction. In fact, some of the items can be directly purchased."

 "Do not sell too many things. It seems we might use this method to accrue funds."

 They looked at her and laughed after a moment of hesitation.

 "What is it?"

 "You know how during the first 9 stages of Early Cultivation, the Ko-jin veins are spread through organ, skeleton, muscle and skin?"

 "Yes, you've told me that at 10 the Ko-jin veins reach into the bones and create pockets where they store Ko-jin."

 "Yes, but at that point the entire body has these veins running through them and the system becomes whole."

 "Plus," Jagonu Nanhot added, "the meridians get separated from these veins which helps fluid compatibility between extra source of energy and Divine Energy."

Isimaila Fginka frowned hard."The fusion of energy makes the power of output between 9 and 10 different realms altogether."

"You worry too much but 5hank you for your concern." She sighed. "Now, let's hear a detailed report.
