1 Prologue

Japan is a nice place, especially the villages near the mountains and forests. The sky, pure, innocent, tranquil; the trees, green, vibrant, full of life.

This is a perfect place for relaxation, and a perfect place to have fun.

But it's also the perfect place for monsters and spirits to roam.

"OH, GOD WE ARE DONE!!" Dream lies his back on the gaming chair as he puts his headphones on the table and hits the "Recording" button.

"Since summer holidays are coming up, you wanna meet up somewhere, Dream?" Sapnap asks.

"Sure!" Dream leans back, a sigh of relief slips out of his lips at the same time as the word comes out.

"Ah... I wish I could go with you guys..." George sighs, obviously disappointed.

It has been around one year since Dream confessed to George. It was that same day that the little friend group of four (Badboyhalo, George, Sapnap and Dream) had understood Dream's sexuality and accepts him willingly. Even though it's a year long, it still felt like yesterday to them all.

"You can! Because I found a place." Dream smirks, although none of the others can see.

"Where?!" The three asks almost at the same time over the call.

"Mmm. Itomori, Japan." Dream says mysteriously.

"So, we're going to Japan?" Sapnap asks.

"Who's gonna purchase the plane tickets?" Bad asks.

"Wait. Hold up. Why specifically there?" George asks.

"Because. I feel like it."

Which is totally not the real reason. Dream had something else in mind.

He wants to be free again.

And there is no place better than there...
