"Here," Lucas stated as he stretched out the tablet remote control to Imani, who had her chin on her knees, and she took it. She swallowed hard when his arm brushed hers as he sat next to her on the sofa bed and tried really hard not to stare at his well-defined abs but she failed.

"Which one do you want to watch?" he asked and her head snapped up to his face before she turned to stare at the movies listed on the television.

She knew she wouldn't be able to fall asleep because of the wolves that were howling outside so after she told Lucas to stay, she said she wanted to watch a movie. She didn't want to ask him to sleep in the room with her and watching a movie was the only thing that came to mind.

Lucas knew the howling scared her because he had heard her heart pounding when he was about to enter his room so he decided to check on her and when she said she wanted to watch a movie, he agreed.
