Lucas couldn't wipe off the stupid grin that grew on his face after Imani said that and his eyes hungrily raked over her again, savouring every inch of her body. If he could, he would rip the flimsy material off her and tackle her right now.

She pulled the tie away from his neck, folding it and dropping it next to her clutch purse on the table. She picked up the purse as he quickly undid two more buttons of his shirt before walking over to his bed, which was a couple of feet away from them, to grab his suit jacket and she glanced around his room.

A floor to ceiling window took up the entire side of the room that faced the woods but a blackout curtain was covering it. The things in his room were either black or white and she couldn't see any photographs, personal effects or clutter anywhere. It looked like he could easily pack up and leave the house anytime he wanted to.
