Lucas couldn't believe what he just heard. Blood rushed to his ears as his wolf shot to alert at the invitation to put his hands on her and it wanted to leap at her but he kept a leash on the beast. He tilted his head to the side and swallowed as he ran his eyes up and down her body.

It took a moment for Imani's words to hit her in the gut. She didn't know exactly why she said it... maybe because she actually wanted him to do it, and she wanted to see how he would react as her heart began to pound. An image of him putting his tongue on her breasts flashed through her mind making her shiver and tense in one breath as she gripped the counter behind her.

She was freaking out on the inside but kept her facial expression as calm as she could when Lucas' eyes glazed over. "What did you just say?" he asked in a strangled voice a few seconds later as he stalked towards her like a predator.
