Lola did a spit take before letting out a cough as she moved closer to her laptop's screen to stare at Imani who was talking to her through video call. "Oh my... he really said that?" she asked with a huge smile on her face and Imani nodded. "Holy Shit, he's hotter than I thought he was. And what was your response?"

"I – I said he could if he wanted to," she replied and Lola dropped the glass of sangria in her hand which shattered as it hit the floor before she began to squeal.

"Oh my God. Did he do it?" she asked excitedly and Imani let out a laugh at her friend's ridiculous reaction before shaking her head.

"He didn't. Mailman rang the doorbell."

The excitement instantly washed away from Lola's face and was replaced with a frown. "Fucking mailman," she muttered before she suddenly moved really close to her laptop's screen and Imani raised her brows while trying to stifle a yawn.

"What are you looking for? Lucas is not here."
