CHAPTER XXI

One by one I was able to get a glimpse of the faces of the members of the herd, from board members like Mr Olsen, Mr McHenstride, Mrs Willson, my father; and some faces that instilled more confidence in me like Ricky, Mike and Anthony.

"Why did you call this meeting, David?" asked Mrs Willson.

"My term is coming to an end Bianca, my son, the future heir and leader of this herd has found his mate and sealed the bond."

"Congratulations Matt."

"Olsen!" recriminated Mr McHenstride.

"Thank you, Philip" I appreciate it.

"As I was saying, under the law that governs this herd when the future alpha seals the bond he is ready to take over the leadership of the herd" announced my father.

"Where is she?" said Mr McHenstride in a tone that both I and my wolf did not like a hair, showing it with a grunt.

"Have more respect, you owe me obedience McHenstride" I barked.

"I don't owe you anything, kid."
