Kori's biological mother was standing right next to him. Was this a dream? Kori and Nade's mother has been dead for years now. She said something to Kori, but he couldn't hear it.

[???: Kori! Kori, wake up!]

Standing over Kori was Serene. He opened his eyes.

[Kori: I passed out.. How embarrassing.]

He whispered under his breath.

[Serene: We are fighting one of the ogres, but can barely keep up.]

Kori watched as one of the ogres with a giant club, was easily over powering his party mates.

[Kori: What about the other ogre?]

[Serene: He is sitting down in the background. He probably thinks all they need is one to beat us.]

The ogre was in the back laughing at how pitiful we looked. He told the other ogre, [Ogre 1: Hey Doro, you might do more damage than I thought.]

[Doro: Oh c'mon brother Toro. I was hoping you could join in.]

Doro looked to be the ogre with the club, and Toro with a long sword.

[Clyde: No one give up!]

Clyde and his siters and two others attacked. Clyde had a katana covered in red flames. Terra had a hammer covered in Jewels. Merra had a shinning blue bow.

[Kori: Hey Serene, we came with 7 others, right?]

Serene nods her head slowly and says, [Serene: Yeah.]

In a scared voice Kori states, [So, why are there only 2 of them fighting with Terra, Merra, and Clyde?]

[Serene: They died Kori..]

Kori experienced a full force of shock. Kori stood up with a confident look on his face.

[Kori: We have to do this.]

[Serene: Kori-]

Kori rushes, screaming at the ogre. Everyone's attention is caught on the running Kori. He picks up a sword off the dead body of one of the warriors. Kori is thinking that he wont let it end like this. He wont let anyone else die while he sits in the background. Kori stops in front of the ogre that towers him. The dirt from his quick halt kicks up in the air all around the cave. The look in Kori's eyes. It was definitely the intent to kill, everyone thought.

[Kori: I wont let this world take anything else from me!]

Kori stares up directly at the ogre with his piercing eyes.

[Toro: Hahaha, looks like you have a challenger Doro!]

[Doro: How dare you look at me like that you flea.]

Doro leans his face right in front of Kori. Kori can smell the harsh breath and body odor from Doro. But, because he is too focused, he doesnt notice it.

Doro lifts up his club over his head and smashes it down towards Kori. He quickly dodges it. Kori runs to the side of Doro to get in his blind spot. Kori launches his self at Doro.

[Doro: You bug!]

Doro punches Kori across the cave. Kori never felt such pain. He felt shock through his whole body. He started to stand back up, but fell down again.

[Kori: More power, huh?]

Clyde runs at the ogre with his sword. Serene runs towards Kori to start to heal him.

[Serene: Kori!]

Kori grunts in pain as blood runs down his face.

[Serene: This shouldn't even be considered C rank. It's an A rank maybe even A+]

[Kori: I am ok Serene. One punch won't do me in.]

Koris bloody body struggles to stand. Kori can see the other 5 fighting. He didnt want to be useless.

[Kori: I won't lose!]

Kori charged after the ogre again. He knows that everything he is doing is a little weird, but he knows what he has to do. Even if he is powerless he will beat the ogre.

[Kori: Clyde, back me up!]

[Clyde: Ok!]

[Kori: Terra, Merra, go for his feet.]

[Terra and Merra: Right!]

Clyde runs behind Kori and they dash towards the ogre.

[Doro: What are you bugs planing?]

[Terra: Back me up sister!]

[Merra: Right!]

Terra smashes Her hammer on the leg of the ogre and dodges the ogres attack back. Merra shoots 3 magic arrows at his other leg. Doro then falls down.

[Toro: Hahaha, dont tell me you're being done in Doro!]

[Doro: Shut up!]

Doro grunts in pain and reaches for his club. He grabs it and on his knee faces the charging Clyde and Kori.

[Kori: Take this!] Kori jumps, slashing the eyes of the ogre unexpectedly. The ogre swings with all his might at Kori's stomach. Kori goes flying across the cave.

[Kori: D-Do it, C-Clyde] Kori whispered, as he hit the wall.

Clyde comes charging in with his sword bursting in flames. [Clyde: Combustion Sword, Slashing Flame!] Clyde slashed the ogre setting his body a flame. Doro screams in pain, and falls to the floor.

Clyde, out of all his energy, falls to one knee. [Clyde: That's one. We might actually die.]

Kori lays in stillness across the cave in a pool of blood. Serene runs over to him Screaming.

[Toro: Dont doubt my brothers ability.]

[Doro: You're.. Damn.. Right...]

Doro Slowly gets back up with his body burnt. He wobbled over to his club and picks it up. His body starts emitting a purple aura.

[Clyde: He.. He.. Uses magic?!]

Everyone has the look of defeat on their faces, accepting death.

[Doro: You're all dead now. My right eye had to pay the price of my carelessness.]

Clyde struggles to stand up, but does it. [Clyde: I wont give up..]

Clyde then notices a giant hole in his side that's spurring out blood. His eyes wide open in shock, fading from reality. He starts to fall, as the ogre charges at him. Clyde accepted death.

Kori was on the ground thinking about how weak he was. He could only hear Serene yelling and crying out to him. But, he couldnt open his eyes. He barely felt pain. He wanted power. A voice called out to Kori in his head.

[???: Do you want it?]

[Kori: Want what? I'm a failure..]

[???: That's because you dont have it. But, I can lend it to you.]

[Kori: Lend what?]

[???: Power Kori.]

A boy appeared in front of Kori in his mind of darkness. The boy looked just like kori except he was just pitch black. Darkness surrounded him.

[Kori: Hahahaha, I've watched enough T.V. to know how this works. Dont underestimate a shut-in. How about this. You give me the power for my sake and not yours or, I'll just steal it myself.]

[???: There is a deal behind everything. Even if you stole the power, you wont be able to control it-.]

[Kori: Shut up!]

[Kori: That's a bet I'm willing to take.]

Kori starts choking out the Kori in his mind. Kori doesnt want to have a bad part of him exist. The darkness is his weakness. He cries, as he sees himself hurting himself for protecting others. He want the power to protect the ones he cares for. Those people appear in his mind, as he kills the dark Kori in his mind.

[Kori: This is my power. You dont know the suffering I could have avoided with this!]

[Dark Kori: Then make it yours...]

As the ogre was about to hit Clyde's head off with the club. A black flame in the form of a slash comes rushing across the cave, breaking the floor, and chops the head of the ogre off. The flame continued to burn on the ogres head and his body. Burning him to a crisp. Clyde was in shock. He turned around from where it came from. Kori was standing there, with blood running down his face. Flames form a cloak around his shirtless body down to his ankles. Black and purple flames. They burn hot around him but, not as a discomfort, but at a warm safe feeling. His body with tattoos and symbols stretching from his shoulder to this chest. His arms were not covered in the cloak and you could see the number 11 on his right shoulder. Everyone was shocked at his immense power. Kori's eyes were red as crimson blood. He slowly started to walk towards the other ogre. You could feel the pressure of power and authority around him. Every step he took the rubble lifted off the ground.

[Toro: Hey what happened to you. This pressure. Hey, stand back if you dont want to die!]

The ground started to rumble in the cave. Out of the cave ceiling came bursting out a man. He stood tall in front of Kori. He has to be over 7 feet. His body purely muscle all around. He had long grey hair reaching to his shoulder blades and a beard to his collar bone. He was only wearing black shorts made of cotton. He had what seemed to look like dragon scales, reaching from his right side of hisback down his arm. On his other arm, Tattoos of dragons Reaching to his left side of his back.

[Mysterious Man: Hey, Flame pillar. Long time no see. I have been waiting only 16,000 years.]
