Shiva’s Demise

Silver flames on the left side, whilst shadowy streaks on the right side; the two women combined their attacks on the now struggling Shiva, who could not counterattack.

Shiva does not need to control his thoughts to dodge, his body automatically reacting, however, due to this ability, he also similarly could not cast Phantom Bullets.

Shiva could only retreat and constantly step back while the two madly attacks all his spots.

"Seems like you would face your own nothingness today!" Mavis smiled while brandishing her Stellesia.

["Is that so?"] Shiva suddenly stopped retreating and twisted his body with a rotational momentum.

Utilizing the momentum, he grabbed both Mavis and Veil with his hands, and sent them flying yet again.

With this, he gained a distance, firing more Phantom Bullets from his fingers by constantly flicking in the air.

The bullets, now with greater punching force, rained down on both sides where Mavis and Veil are lying down on their backs.

Thud thud thud thud!

Shiva charged towards Mavis who is a greater threat to him, imbuing his right hand with high pressure from the Void.

Void Skill: Blankness Paradox!

When Shiva is about to stab Mavis' abdomen with the invisible blade, Veil parried his right arm away.

However, Veil is taking form of the darkness again, cursed marks appearing in greater numbers similar to the Blood War.

Sooner or later, her consciousness will be taken away from her, becoming the darkness' puppet.

This fight is all or nothing; she must absolutely take this opportunity to change everything once and for all.

Mavis was right; rewriting history in a single point of time will not change anything for everyone.

She must now destroy the root of everything, which is Shiva's system.

She does not dare think of the aftermaths anymore, all she thinks of this time around is to end the system which is supposedly what created everything before Mavis took over.

Mavis now recovered, joining the second round against Shiva who is now fighting in a melee.

Due to number advantage, the two still overwhelmed Shiva even after using both of his hands.

["You are really forcing me to use my cards."] Shiva dashed away to widen the gap between them.

Void Mana Expansion: Call of the Hollowed Souls!

An extremely oppressive aura washed over Mavis and Veil, decreasing their senses' range and their own mana.

Veil responded by using Umbralia's endless mana supply.

Mana Expansion: Everlasting Penumbra!

The mirror-like floor now became diamond, reflecting light in various colors.

Meanwhile, Mavis also revealed her own mana, powered by Stellesia's celestial mana and silver Spiritflames.

Mana Expansion: Spirit's Apex Aptitude!

Spiritflames of various sizes danced around Mavis, supporting her on the sides.

The three now entered one more round with their respective Mana Expansions similarly colliding against each other.

When Mavis and Veil familiarized themselves with their own Mana Expansion, they combined it.

Now, the diamond encased floor sprouted Spiritflames that reduced Shiva's mobility, also, Mavis' mana supply became infinite because of Veil.

With this combination, they immediately felt the positive changes to their fighting spirits, dashing towards Shiva who is engaging the Spiritflames that are attacking him from the ground.

Swing swing! Thrust! Clang!

"Disappear!" the silver flames enveloping Mavis' Stellesia grew larger and fiercer, sending countless attacks towards Shiva.

Shiva responded with frenzied attacks, accompanying his melee with Phantom Bullets.

The Phantom Bullets targeted the Spiritflames from around him, thus, giving him the window to block and counter Mavis.

Seeing that Shiva is busy with Mavis, Veil took the opportunity to circle around and flank him.

Veil stretched out her right arm behind her while tightly gripping Umbralia, then used the shadows beneath her to launch herself in an upward arc motion.

Swing!!!

He dealt a blow behind Shiva's back, causing him to receive the Spiritflame slashes from Mavis.

Splash!

Fragments of Shiva's galactic body disappeared due to the effects of the Spiritflame, with its ability to cleanse and purge anything.

Shiva fell on a knee, putting out the remaining Spiritflame devouring his body.

Meanwhile, using that brief opportunity, Veil stood beside Mavis and prepared their finishing move.

With Mavis' left hand tightly holding the Stellesia, Veil similarly crossed her Umbralia against the former with her right hand.

Making a cross shape, the two dashed with a great momentum to attack Shiva's entire torso.

Swing!

Two consecutive attacks forming an x-mark on Shiva's front expanded visibly, black Shadowflames and silver Spiritflames burning Shiva.

Standing behind Shiva are the panting women who poured everything into this battle.

"You are done, Shiva." Mavis unsummoned Stellesia and turned around.

["You will regret all of this."] Shiva slowly declared while slowly turning transparent.

With this, the system will now lose its true owner, which will make Mavis the next true owner.

Veil just observed the developments or the aftermath of Shiva's demise.

When the very manifestation and concept of nothingness is erased, what would happen to the world and the entire universe?

That was the question that remained lingering inside Veil's mind.

Even if she asked Mavis, she might also not know anything since she was also just a human before the system talked to her.

The only theory Veil had is that they will return to their respective timelines.

Shurururururuk~

Shiva has now completely disappeared from sight; nothing is still happening or changing.

"What will happen now to you?" Veil asked Mavis.

"I still do not know that, but I do think that we really must destroy everything and restart." Mavis felt confused on what to do next moving forward.

"Mhm, that was the only thing I initially thought of to fix everything, but I am not sure if it will cause us to be back on the start of our lives."

"Let's just wait for now." Mavis sat down from exhaustion, even if she is the One True God, she was still originally human, which has limits.

After seemingly an entire day, the Legendary weapons that the Heroes once used emerged one by one on Mavis' space.

The sealed Spinefall was the first one, then followed by the rest which still retained their original forms even through thousands of years.

The reason for Spinefall being sealed when it appeared was because of Tiaris sealing it back when Gaia Lord Varun wielded the Spinefall.

It was still the same Spinefall, however, the power of the souls are freed and then sealed as to avoid stealing souls anymore.

"It seems that something started to change. System! Explain this!" Mavis spoke when she saw the weapons back in the ancient times started appearing and asked the system.

["You both greatly altered the flow of everything. Fix everything yourselves, I am now ceasing to ex- ex- exist…"] The mechanical voice of the system cut off.

"There goes our answers, we are supposed to fix our own problems ourselves." Mavis smiled bitterly.

"Fine, the only idea I have left is to use a similar combination technique using all the Legendary weapons to destroy everything and reset it as well." Veil proposed her idea.

"Very well, we should try that." Mavis agreed.

All in all, they have 12 Legendary weapons with them, counting the original 10 and Mavis' Stellesia.

Since Umbralia is even beyond the original ones, hers would naturally be counted too.

Mavis raised her arms in the air and caused all the weapons to levitate upwards, including the Umbralia and Stellesia.

When all the individual mana types seep out from the respective weapons, 10 colors appeared, except for Umbralia which has the same elements from the other weapons and Stellesia that has celestial mana.

Umbralia just acted as the power source, having an endless supply of mana, while the Stellesia acted as a catalyst.

Shortly, all the weapons disappeared, only the Umbralia and Stellesia remained, with a Origin Crystal in the middle of the converging point of the 10 colors.

Mavis gently touched the Origin Crystal, the colors and blinding light calming down.

When Mavis sensed the contents of this specific Origin Crystal, she was surprised to see the infinitely growing amounts of life force inside.

Meaning, this very Origin Crystal holds everything inside the universe, including Terra.

Mavis turned around to look at the silent Veil, seemingly in deep thought.

"If you are the one who holds this crystal, what would you do? For me, I would just let it grow at this pace, removing only ourselves in the equation." Mavis unhurriedly shared her thoughts.

The atmosphere remained silent, time seemingly slowing down after Mavis' words.
