I Will Give You Battle!

"Esteemed Primordial, I am an Adventurer of Terra; I have come here to inform you that the humans on the other side of the gate you opened are preparing for an attack, thinking that it is a dungeon." Veil explained in a respectful tone.

"Hrmm, how were you able to tell difference? Did you come from another timeline?" Darthoxis asked, feeling slightly doubtful.

Veil was slightly shocked for an old God to instantly hypothesized that she has come from another timeline; he is technically both right and wrong on that however.

"I investigated the structures here and I just hypothesized that the dungeons usually appearing from all over the world will not have a civilization this advanced the moment it appears." Veil made up a plausible reasoning.

"Fine. How do you suggest we deal with the humans on the other side? If any of us emerges from the gate, they will view us as enemies." Darthoxis inquired.

"I have a perfect solution for that, Esteemed Primordial. Worry not, I will personally go back there to stop the humans from raiding this place, at this point in time, they may have gathered a large force already." Veil smiled and declared in a decisive tone before leaving.

Veil then turned around to go back to the gate.

"Someone is coming!" An Adventurer shouted waiting from the other side of the gate; there are now about a hundred of Adventurers here waiting for more reinforcements in preparation to raid the gate.

Veil scanned the atmosphere; she spotted multiple Adventurers with massive auras among the hundred lined up.

"You must not raid this gate! This is not your usual dungeon you are all familiar with! There are no evil entities beyond here." Veil declared in a loud voice, amplified with mana so everyone could here.

"Who are you? Are you the enemy in disguise!?" Another Adventurer inquired while pointing his dagger towards Veil.

"That is right, you are an enemy!"

"Attack her while she is alone!"

"Chargeeeee!"

"The reinforcements have arrived, we can start the raid! I was long itching for battle!"

All the Adventurers voiced out to attack the girl standing in the gate.

Most of the Adventurers agreed and prepared their swords, bows, gauntlets, staffs, magic guns and more.

Some Adventurers calmly stepped out of the way only to observe, reason is they could not sense the girl's mana at all.

"Do you like battle this much? Then I will give you battle!" Veil stabbed the aquamarine sword in the ground as she unleashed her aura.

Mana Expansion: Eternal Winter's Wake!

Crack! Shikikikikikik.

A cold wave pushed from Veil spreading throughout the Adventurers, sending shivers on their backs.

The stone flooring of the city turned into an icy domain, maneuvering here would be disadvantageous for the Adventurers.

The tables have immediately turned against them; they have not expected that their opponent is capable of establishing a domain that can affect the environment.

Most domains developed by various Adventurers and Heroes are only barrier-like domain, they, at most, weaken the targets or strengthen allies.

However, rarer and stronger types of domain could change the environment, reshaping the ground, produce attacks from out of nowhere, including anything that can be materialized out of one's mana.

Veil stood dauntlessly in front of the massive gate, producing a miniature snowy world within her domain.

The melee Adventurers struggled to balance their footing on the slippery ice floor, however, some of them who has flame skills were able to move forward soon reached the motionless girl.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

"!!!???"

Every single Adventurer present was shocked after seeing the lone girl receive absolutely no damage whatsoever from the attacks.

"I will let you in to raid this gate; however, you must destroy my barrier and pass me!" Veil declared as she makes the translucent barrier more visible.

[…]

"Great great! Amazing! That Adventurer you brought here is amazing, Nerula!" Darthoxis praised the old woman called Nerula.

Darthoxis, being the previous God of War, seriously revered the strong; now, he is watching an extremely powerful Adventurer with his own eyes.

They are watching the events transpiring via Nerula's magic mirror real time.

The bluish barrier of ice never even trembled from hundreds of different attacks raining down on it, Veil even sat down to meditate and familiarize herself with ice mana.

Training while in front of hundreds of enemies!

In her past life, she was the most familiar with flame and dark affinities and usages for mana; she never used ice attacks utilizing aquatic mana.

That is why she is taking her time in an opportunity to control ice mana while under attack, testing her limits of focus and calm.

Ice mana rarely uses berserk atmospheric mana; they must always be calm and flowing quietly like water.

Utilizing calm aquatic and wind mana produces the ice mana; changing the degree of those two mana types would greatly alter the result.

The Adventurers who did not join the fray could only laugh at themselves for initially thinking that they can knock out the girl with a few attacks, but now, no one could even touch her.

Some of the Adventurers who chose to stay could only thank their own instincts and fear for not attacking the girl and earning her ire.

As soon as the reinforcements arrived, they all joined to break the girl's barrier; after all, they were strictly ordered to finish the raid in the shortest time possible.

The size of the gate could contain colossal type of beasts that will pummel their cities with footsteps alone.

However, now, they are facing a totally unexpected and different problem: a fellow human is stopping all of them from raiding the gate which they all think is a dungeon.

Unbeknownst to them though, is that if they really put a fight against the denizens of this gate, they would face obliteration.

In fact, this lone girl defending the gate is protecting the entire world, if not, the continent.

She just did not reveal that an old God is inside the gate because of her respect for Darthoxis' request.

Also, Darthoxis does not intend to attack the human world, but only to help his people to migrate.

The reason for their migration is still unknown, but Veil currently thinks it is for the lack of resources for the Shuranians.

Meanwhile, elite level Adventurers following the various troops to raid the gate has also arrived.

They were at the rear of the army, thus, they did not immediately see the commotion.

Now that they are up close, they feel terrifying cold crawling through their skins, getting closer feels like their skin would break due to the extreme cold.

The strongest Adventurer within this army by the name of Agron, is an old man wearing a red knight's armor.

"Young Adventurer, I do not want to drag this fight any longer, we wish to raid this dungeon and stop a potential threat to both of our continents." Agron spoke with a dignified tone.

"What if I told you that there is a God inside?" Veil opened her eyes and unhurriedly replied.

"!?" No one could speak, in this extreme cold; they still formed beads of sweat on their backs.

A God!

They have not seen a God in their entire career as Adventurers, but now there is a God inside a dungeon?

"Young Adventurer, I do not doubt your words, however, how could we stand against a God?" Agron inquired after calming his heart.

"I already told these people that this is a gate, rather than a dungeon you are all familiar with. The God inside does not intend to start a fight." Veil explained after standing up and dusting her legs.

Veil also pulled the Rosalia out of the ground, thus, the ice mana thinned out before the frozen floor melted and reverted back, she then sheathed the sword.

"I understand, I apologize for my guys, we shall then wait here until the gate disappears." Agron informed his troops to stand back.

"Mhm, fine, I will let the people inside know, however, the moment one of you sneaks in, you will all become my ice sculptures." Veil nodded as she warned every single person with cold eyes.

Veil entered on the gate again and left a layer of ice wall with various mana strands connected to her fingers.

If someone puts even a dent on that ice wall, she would feel it with her mana.

"Esteemed Primordial, I have returned to inform you that you may start your migration, the humans on the other side are even welcoming you." Veil said.

"Hng, great! Nerula, start transferring our city!" Darthoxis clapped his chest as he stands up.

Nerula briefly nodded as she called forth an obelisk taller than a human.

In the middle of the obsidian obelisk is a translucent World Crystal with a key hole.

Primordial Skill: Sword of the Realms!

Darthoxis lightly waved his hands as one of the swords stabbed on the room flew straight into the key hole.

Click.

With a crisp sound, the World Crystal glowed three times followed by massive shaking of the ground.

The next moment, a blinding light wrapped everyone on the Shurana as they get teleported into the gate.

Meanwhile, on the side of the humans, a massive floating city appeared out of the 50-meter gate, loud vibrations ringed through their ears.

"L-l-look! A city in the skies!" One of the Adventurers in front of the pack pointed at the sky.

Everyone else blankly nodded, they could all see it the moment the gate opened.

Vuoosh! Booom!

Darthoxis jumped from the floating city into the front of the dazed Adventurers, followed by Nerula and Veil.

Darthoxis scanned the surroundings while slowly inhaling the air of the world.

"Great! I finally feel comfortable!" Darthoxis clenched his fists as he instantly felt soothed by the ambient mana.

Some of the Adventurers watching lost their footing because this is the first time they have seen a God.

"Respectable God, I am Agron, the commanding Adventurer of this army, I gravely apologize for this inconvenience." Agron immediately kneeled in front of the old God.

"God? HAHAHA! I am no God anymore; I am nothing but the replaced God of War! That is now old news!" Darthoxis laughed loudly while informing every one of his current position.

"…"

No one could utter a single word, not even a single sound could be heard besides the loud hums from the floating city and the whistling air.

"Heh, I only wish to transfer my city into this world of yours, I am not doing you any harm am I?" Darthoxis scanned everyone's reaction.

"We welcome you warmly; you are free to choose your land." Agron stood up.

"Very well, that makes things easier." Darthoxis turned to look at Nerula and slightly nodded.

Nerula then pointed both of her open hands to the gate and absorbed its mana.

Crumble!

The runes lighted up around the massive gate visibly diminished before the gate itself slowly turned into dust.

'Mana absorption in such scale?' Veil was slightly surprised by Nerula's ability to absorb mana this easily, especially the mana powering the unknown runes on the gate.

If she could learn even a fraction of such ability, her ice mana control would instantly improve.

"Esteemed Primordial, with this, there would not be any more problems, is that right?" Veil walked up to Darthoxis' side.

"Hmm, the Shurana is going to travel farther from here, just towards the East where the countless neutral lands are." Darthoxis nodded.

"Very well, may I perhaps go with you? I wish to learn under you." Veil declared in a decisive tone.

"Learn? Hah, unfortunately, I have nothing else I could teach you. At best, I could only provide you a fraction of blessings." Darthoxis shook his head.

"No no, you do not have to busy yourself with that, Esteemed Primordial. I only wish to learn mana control, if possible." Veil hurriedly shook her hands and explained.

"Mana control? I see. I can have Nerula guide you with that one then heh." Darthoxis patted Veil's back.

[…]

Shurana arrived above massive flatlands home to underground beasts that ambush Adventurers who step on their territories.

This is one of the biggest neutral lands in the continent of Eastern Arnelia.

The Eastern Arnelia is an unoccupied haven of monsters, where most of Adventurer teams and guilds go to train their troops.

The monsters burrowed into the ground are watching the floating city, waiting to attack and intercept their victims.

However, the floating city suddenly smashed itself deeply into the ground.

BOOM!!!

The entire city now occupied this massive piece of land, the terrain was reshaped before the buildings slowly expanded.

This is part of the Shurana's technology, where the buildings themselves use magical application to change sizes.

An ancient technology!

"My student, let's begin our training for today." Nerula approached Veil standing on the city's gate.

"Mhm, Master Nerula." Veil nodded as she followed Nerula.

Did you watch Sword Art Online? In Mother's Rosario arc, Asuna and Yuuki's party went dungeon diving for a boss, however, an entire guild wants to get the first clear so they are about to hunt down Asuna and company, until Kirito arrived and blocked the way with his black sword and golden Excalibur. Just imagine that scene similar to this one.
