Chap. 3 Breakfast and Shopping

I woke up with no nightmares that night. Now after the whole pit thing happening, that a rare thing to happen. It's about 6 A.M right now. I went downstairs and nobody was up so I decided to make breakfast.

You may be asking, Nico, how do you know how to cook? Well, a lot of it is from cooking classes and some self teaching. Yes I did cooking classes and no I won't tell you why.

I started by making sure I had the right ingredients. And one I was sure, I made pancake batter. Then after a few dozen pancakes I started making some eggs. And then I heard somebody come downstairs, it was Mrs.Weasley.

"I'm so sorry I didn't get up in time to cook for you!" She said looking surprised I was even up.

"It's fine I enjoy cooking anyway" I replied. Another look of surprise from her probably because I said I enjoyed cooking I mean I would be too. "I'm almost done too so you can rest"

With a bit of reluctance, she went and sat down. The eggs were finally done so made some toast too. Then I went to the dining room to set the table and Mrs.Weasley actually did it. "It's the least I could do" she said.

So I started bringing the food out and heard people going downstairs. Harry and Ron came down first and then Hermione and Ginny then Sirius and Remus. And finally I saw Sev.

"Where are your brothers?" Mrs.Weasley asked Ginny and Ron. "Still sleeping" they replied.

Ron started stuffing his face gods he reminded me of Percy and Leo. He moaned, "what did you do different to make these taste so good mom?" He asked

"I didn't make them Nico did!" Mrs.Weasley replied.

I started blushing a bit. Sev chuckled a bit when he saw my face. "It's not funny Sev!" I said with a hint of fake anger in my voice.

After a few minutes of chatting and eating, Harry asked, "when are we gonna go shopping for schools supplies?"

"After breakfast" Mrs.Weasley said. After that, we heard the rest of the Weasleys come down. They sat down and one of the twins said. "These are amazing!"

"Which one is which again!" I asked Sev in Greek. "I honestly can't tell it's impossible" he answered also in Greek.

"What are you talking about with snivellus?" Sirius sneered. "Are you still using the same nickname after 20+ years?!? How childish can you be?" I said. He looked flabbergasted at what I said. Sev tried so hard not to laugh.

"So which one is which?" I asked the twins. "I'm Fred" "I'm George" they said. I knew this trick!

"It's switched around so your George and your Fred" I said. "Your the first to ever call us out on that!" The exclaimed very surprised. Every body continued small talk while me and Sev taking about potions in Greek. At this point nobody bothered to ask us what we were talking about.

TIME SKIP BROUGHT TO YOU BY KRONOS

After breakfast we headed to diagonal alley, they used flop and me and Sev used shadow travel. We went to the Bank first, Gringotts. At the front, the was their motto, 'Strength through Loyalty' I say it's a pretty good motto.

Sev looked like he was gonna burst out with laughter "what so funny?" I asked. "Goblins run this bank" he said trying not to laugh. I started chuckling. We arrived at the entrance the goblins looked like they've seen ghosts when they looked at me. Now for some more information, my father and other gods own vaults here. So they know us, my father has the biggest.

We saw the others and we continued to a bank teller. "Could I go to my vault?" I asked. He still hadn't looked a me. "You got a key?" He asked. I put it on the desk once he saw it he looked at us with fear. He called on another goblin to take us down. Me and Sev went to my vault when we got there it was a massive dark double door with torches on either side.

I put the key in and opened it. When I tell you my dad likes showing off he likes showing off. There are MOUNTAINS for gold, silver and bronze. There are weapons and other priceless artifacts in here too. Including a pomegranate Sev chuckled at it, so did I.

After we grabbed enough gold, I stuffed it in a shadow pocket for later. We then headed toward the surface where we met up with the rest of the group. "You have a vault?!?" Harry asked, I nodded in response. He looked at me weirdly.

We walked out to shop in the nearby stores. We first went to a bookstore for that years books. Sev and me split up to go to a potions shop, Sev was staring at acromantula venom, as far as I know, it is expensive and highly sought after by potion makers. It's also used in a potion known for its corrosive abilities.

So when he was not looking, I bought it for him. He'll be in for a good surprise for this. He bought some moonstones and some herbs and we left. We went back with the group to get ice cream.

"What's for favorite flavor Nico?" Hermione asked. "I don't really have one, but if I had to choose it would be vanilla" I replied. We all ordered, Ron got chocolate, Harry with a twist, Hermione with some chocolate chip. Mrs.Weasley got vanilla, the twins got some mint chocolate chip. Ginny also got twist, Sev got chocolate and I got vanilla. When it came time to pay, I was the one to pay, as much as Mrs.Weasley, hated it and tried to refuse, Sev whispered something into her ear and said if I was sure I wanted to pay and I nodded.

"Thanks for paying Nico!" The twins said. The rest of them also said thank you. "Your welcome" I said. "Hey Sev" I said "yes?" He asked "I got you something"I said "what is it?" He asked. I gave him the bottle of acromantula venom, his mouth dropped a bit. It took him a moment before saying "thank you". "Your welcome" I said. After a bit of chatting and talking we went back. They apparated and we shadow traveled a bit after them. We ended up in the living room.

"What does that even feel like?" Ron asked rudely "you want we to shadow travel you to see what it's like?" I asked. He looked at me like I was a monster. Sev used a book on the table and smacked him with it. "Ok ok! Sorry.. I guess…" he mumbled the last part.

"If you really want to know, it feels like a gringotts cart" Sev said angrily. He looked like he was gonna kill him. "And I can almost guarantee you will throw up" I added. We all went to our rooms and organized our things after that. I heard shouting, probably Ron getting yelled at. And after that I must have fallen asleep.

After I was woke up by Sev, it was time for dinner I stretched and went down to eat with Sev. Every body was there, the Weasley clan, Sirius, Remus, even Dumbledore.

When we sat down, I saw potatoes, turkey, corn, and some other dishes I didn't recognize. Everybody was eating without us. So Sev and me sat down and started eating too. Me and Sev were talking about Potions again, but this time in Latin.

"What are you even talking about?" Hermione asked snobbishly. "Probably talking about ways the kill us" said Ron. "They could be talking about ways to give us the Voldemort" Harry said.

"Or we could be talking about different uses of acromantula venom" I said. They all looked a little sheepish after I mentioned this. Ron looked horrified at the mention of said acromantula. I tried not to laugh.

We all just minded our business after that and continued eating Mrs. Weasley's cooking tastes amazing. And I went up to my room and proceeded to pass out again.
